Ezekiel 45:6
“You shall appoint as the property of the city an area five thousand cubits wide and twenty-five thousand long, adjacent to the district of the holy section; it shall belong to the whole house of Israel.” Ezekiel 45:6
As shown in the picture below, the “property of the city” is the white portion at the bottom that borders the light-green area. That area is just as long as the light-green area [10 miles] and 2 miles wide. Adding those measurements to the light-green area makes a square that is 10 miles x 10 miles square. That entire square is the Holy District as seen in the picture in the previous post. which is shown in the yellow square.
The “property of the city” is the land set aside for the workers of the Holy City, the Holy City being the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. Here on earth, we work for the Holy City by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. This area is for the purpose of growing food for us workers who live for Jesus Christ and work to make known His testimony. As we know today, that food is the Bread of Life, who is Jesus Christ. By feeding on the word of Christ, the fruit of the Holy Spirit blossoms in us, which nourishes our spirit and soul for carrying on with His work.
The entire Holy District belongs to Jesus Christ and those who believe in Him, all “10 miles x 10 miles square”. That is the New Jerusalem of the new heaven and earth where God, Jesus Christ, and all of His followers live forever. “He came to His own, and His own did not receive Him. But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.” John 1:11-13
As seen in the picture below, the Holy District includes all of the light-green area and the white portion below it. This area is 10 miles x 10 miles square.
