Area for the Levites as a possession. 

Ezekiel 45:5

“An area twenty-five thousand cubits long and ten thousand wide shall belong to the Levites, the ministers of the temple; they shall have twenty chambers as a possession.” Ezekiel 45:5.

The area of land designated for the Levites/ministers of the temple can be seen in the light-green area shown in the picture below. This area is marked, “Levite’s portion”, in the picture and measures 10 miles x 4 miles, the same as the “Priest’s portion”. Together, the “Levite’s portion” and the “Priest’s portion” occupy the entire light-green area, which is 20 miles x 8 miles.

The Levites are like the ministers of the manmade churches of today, whom Jesus Christ replaced after He died on the Cross to atone for sin, was resurrected from the grave after three days, and ascended into Heaven. The entire area of the “Levite’s portion” now belongs to our Lord Jesus Christ. In fact, the entire light-green area now belongs to Christ, the “Levite’s portion” and the “Priest’s portion” belong to Him. Jesus Christ is the only Minister, the only Priest, that is able to govern over the sanctuary, which is our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit.

If Jesus Christ was walking on this earth today, He would not be a priest or a minister within the manmade churches, “For if He were on earth, He would not be a priest…” Hebrews 8:4

“Now this is the main point of the things we are saying: We have such a High Priest, who is seated at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a Minister of the sanctuary and of the true tabernacle which the Lord erected, and not man. But now He has obtained a more excellent ministry, inasmuch as He is also Mediator of a better covenant, which was established on better promises.” Hebrews 8:1-2, 6
