“So the house of Israel shall know that I am the Lord their God from that day forward.” Ezekiel 39:22
The phrase, “from that day forward”, is from the “day after” the Battle of Armageddon, and those still alive of the house of Israel are the remnant/survivors. They will know that they are not anything without God, whose will for them is to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Messiah and to receive the Holy Spirit.
Even today, the Jewish people should be aware of all the prophecies of the Bible being fulfilled about them, such as regathering them to the State of Israel in 1948. They should be praising God through Jesus Christ. Unfortunately, they close their eyes and ears to the prophecies that speak about the wrath of God’s fury coming against them for rejecting Jesus Christ. Even so, in the “day after”, they will know that the Lord is their God, who includes Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. The truth of God’s word, all of the prophecies, and God’s fury will be spent on them, and the world, in that day. From that day forward, the remnant/survivors of Israel will know that He is the Lord their God.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we rejoice for the coming of the Day of the Lord, and we know that He is the Lord our God, with Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, the three of the Trinity. “After these things I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God! For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.” Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” Revelation 19:1-3
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
