God makes His Holy name known and Israel is prevented from profaning His name anymore. 

Ezekiel 39:7

“So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.” Ezekiel 39:7

This verse is mirrored from Ezekiel 38:23 “Thus I will magnify Myself and sanctify Myself, and I will be known in the eyes of many nations. Then they shall know that I am the Lord.”

The phrase, “I will not let them profane My holy name anymore.“, refers to the wrath of God being poured out upon Israel for profaning His Holy name. The Jewish people have profaned the name of God by rejecting Jesus Christ and claiming themselves to be His people. As quoted, “Therefore thus says the Lord God: ‘Because you have all become dross, therefore behold, I will gather you into the midst of Jerusalem. As men gather silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin into the midst of a furnace, to blow fire on it, to melt it; so I will gather you in My anger and in My fury, and I will leave you there and melt you.” Ezekiel 22:19-20 Also, it is written, “I will bring you out from the peoples and gather you out of the countries where you are scattered, with a mighty hand, with an outstretched arm, and with fury poured out.” Ezekiel 20:34

We know the destruction of Israel happens in the eyes of the whole world during the Battle of Armageddon. We know this because God leads the global military against Israel, “…I will…lead you on, bringing you up from the far north, and bring you against the mountains of Israel. Then I will knock the bow out of your left hand, and cause the arrows to fall out of your right hand.” Ezekiel 39:2-3 After the destruction of Israel, then God renders the global military defenseless and brings their defeat with a huge slaughter.

After the Battle of Armageddon, when Israel and the global military are destroyed, then God says, “So I will make My holy name known in the midst of My people Israel, and I will not let them profane My holy name anymore. Then the nations shall know that I am the Lord, the Holy One in Israel.”
