“And you, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, ‘O mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord! Thus says the Lord God: “Because the enemy has said of you, ‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession,’”’ Ezekiel 36:1-2

In this chapter of Ezekiel, the majority of the verses involve God speaking about the land of Israel, to the territory of land that we know as Israel. In these first two verses, God has Ezekiel to make known what is going to happen to the land of Israel as a result of the enemy claiming the territory to be theirs.

Today, we see how there is a huge conflict over the land of Israel. The “Two State Solution” has already been approved by the all the members of the United Nations, except of course, Israel. The UN only need to implement it, which will require the “arm-twisting” of the government of Israel. We can already hear faint whispers of the enemies of the land of Israel saying, “Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession…” The world government and its global culture are very close to loudly saying, ‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession…”.

In the picture below, the image to the right is the land of Israel during the Old Testament, as described in Ezekiel 48. The image to the left is how the land of Israel is today, with a big chunk being referred to as the West Bank and Gaza Strip. That is where we hear the whisper of the enemies of the land of Israel saying, “‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession…” In the process of the United Nations being established as the one world government, they want to be able to loudly proclaim, “‘Aha! The ancient heights have become our possession…”

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”

, 3:1
