Many antichrists and the one Antichrist

“Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.” 1 John 2:18

The “little children” includes all of us who live for Jesus Christ, we are the children of God. The “last hour” refers to living in an age where Jesus Christ has come and has been rejected by the majority of people. As the Savior of the world is rejected, there is not much hope left for the world.

The Apostle John speaks of the one Antichrist and also of the many antichrists that began to appear during the time of his writings. The “many antichrists” is referring to the masses of people around the world who do not believe in the Living God, feels no need for Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior, and shuts out the Holy Spirit from being part of who they are. The many antichrists have made possible the appearing of the one Antichrist. The one Antichrist is in this world during the opening of the seven seals in Revelation 6, the events of the seven trumpets of Revelation 8, 9, and 11, and the events of the seven plagues in Revelation 16. Obviously, the one Antichrist is not a flesh-and-blood person because no one on this earth will live long enough to rule through all 21 events. In present times, God does not allow for any one person to live much over 120 years on this earth, if that long. Global warming is just one of the 21 events and is the Fourth Plague of Revelation 16:8-9, which will be upon this world till the end of time. In fact, global warming leads to the destruction of the power center of the beast, [the source of the power of the Antichrist in this world] in the Fifth Plague and then the Battle of Armageddon in the Sixth Plague. The more powerful the United Nations becomes as the one world government, the more intense the heat of global warming becomes. Global warming is and will be a constant “headache” to this present world.

Knowing that the one Antichrist is not a flesh and blood person, we can understand that the Antichrist is designed to destroy the human spirit and soul. By intending to destroy the conscience, spirit, and soul of human beings, the Antichrist is able to build a wall against Jesus Christ who lives within our spirit, soul, and conscience. The Antichrist functions as a non-spiritual and artificial entity to replace the human spirit and conscience by giving people what to think, feel, say, and do. That is what gives life to the image of the beast. The Antichrist thrives on the image of the beast being enlivened to speak and live through people. Satan copies everything that God does, including the Trinity. Satan wants to establish himself as being God within the temple of God, our body. Satan, which is referred to as the dragon, and the first beast are referred to in Revelation 13:2 Satan gives great power, authority, and his throne to the first beast. Satan does this to mimic God who has given great power, authority, and a Throne in Heaven to His Son Jesus Christ. In Revelation 13:11-12, the second beast is mentioned and refers to Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit. This second beast exercises the authority of the first beast within the physiological world in the same way that the Holy Spirit exercises the authority of Jesus Christ within our spirit and soul. The second beast causes the inhabitants of the world to serve the first beast like the Holy Spirit causes people to serve Jesus Christ.

The trinity of Satan includes Satan, the first beast, and the second beast. The Trinity of God includes God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.

The one Antichrist functions in the same way that Jesus Christ is one. Our Lord Jesus is one but has His power and authority within people through the Holy Spirit. In the same way, the Antichrist is one but has power and authority within the physiology of people. The Antichrist has power and authority through the entity that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say as it sets in the temple of God, our body, as if is God, The Antichrist is the one “… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.
