The incident of this article happened in Ashville, which is just up the road from Circleville.

Bernie Moreno is currently running for the U.S. Senate from Ohio. This article involves two of his top staffers, one female for driving drunk, and other charges, and a male whose obstruction charges are pending. This post is not about a particular politician and his staffers, but about the lawlessness and corruption that prevails in government. A government that has no belief in the Living God, feels no need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and are not living in the presence of the Holy Spirit. As seen in the video, neither the female or male staffer shows remorse, shame, or guilt in any way, only agitation towards the arresting officers. “…speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their own conscience seared with a hot iron…”1 Timothy 4:2

Below are quotes from the article:

The vehicle was impounded, and Wright was taken into custody. She was charged with drunken driving, driving without a valid license, expired license plates, running a stop sign, and driving without insurance.

The Ashville Police Department has confirmed that Henson may face charges for obstruction of official business, with an outside special appointed law director reviewing the case for possible charges.

ASHVILLE, Ohio — Colton Henson, a Republican strategist and councilman for the Village of Ashville, who also serves as a top aide to U.S. Senate Candidate Bernie Moreno, was involved in a dramatic traffic stop this month that escalated into a significant confrontation. Henson’s girlfriend, Abby Wright, also a prominent political strategist for Moreno, was arrested during the incident.

What started as a routine traffic stop quickly spiraled out of control due to Henson’s actions. Henson, who was a passenger in the vehicle, repeatedly obstructed the police officers’ efforts to conduct the stop, video shows. His behavior included making high-level political threats, which further complicated the situation. Despite the officer’s attempts to handle the routine stop, Henson’s interference and aggressive behavior dominated the encounter.

Henson’s behavior led to the arrival of two additional officers, who were needed to manage the escalating situation.

Bodycam footage captured Henson yelling profanities at the officers and threatening to use his political connections to undermine their authority…His behavior became increasingly hostile when he told officers to “fuck off”

Ultimately, Wright failed several sobriety tests, including the “heel-to-toe” steps and the one-legged stand, leading to her arrest for OVI…She had pleaded not guilty…Wright is employed by the Moreno campaign, but her exact job description is not publicly known. Filings show the campaign pays her $96,720 a year — or $4,030 every two weeks.

We live in a world today where the human spirit and conscience are replaced by the atheistic entity that gives people what to think, say, do, and feel. There is no sense of shame, remorse, guilt, or any other feelings that would lead people to turn away from what they are given to feel, say, think, and do. Law enforcement is not the law they follow, they follow the law of the atheistic entity that enables the image of the beast to speak and live through them. They are allowing atheism to live through them with no belief in God, they scoff at the need for repentance and forgiveness through Jesus Christ, and they suppress the presence of the Holy Spirit from being a part of who they are. Unfortunately, the government is monopolized by these people on all levels, from city, to state, to national, to global. The populations of people in cities and states are “voting” these people into government office and are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they are given to do and say.

Today’s culture is those who choose to release “Barabbas” into society while crucifying Jesus the Christ, “Now at the feast [Pilate] was accustomed to releasing one prisoner to them, whomever they requested. And there was one named Barabbas, who was chained with his fellow rebels; they had committed murder in the rebellion.  …Pilate answered them, saying, “Do you want me to release to you the King of the Jews?” But the chief priests stirred up the crowd, so that he should rather release Barabbas to them. Pilate answered and said to them again, “What then do you want me to do with Him whom you call the King of the Jews?” So they cried out again, “Crucify Him!” Then Pilate said to them, “Why, what evil has He done?” But they cried out all the more, “Crucify Him!” So Pilate, wanting to gratify the crowd, released Barabbas to them; and he delivered Jesus, after he had scourged Him, to be crucified.” Mark 15:6-7, 9, 11-15

In Ohio alone, there is no respect for law enforcement on a grass roots level, and no respect for the law coming from government officials. Most definitely, the values of the Bible, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, is not being implemented in the government laws, policies, and other such mandates. The Holy Spirit is being taken from this world and He is the one who restrains lawlessness, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 Click here for a post on the ‘lawless one”.

As individuals living in a lawless world, there is eternal Salvation in Jesus Christ, which is something this world can never offer, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:16-17 As followers of Jesus Christ we can say with Paul, through the Holy Spirit, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
