The stew is brought to a boil and the pieces made to simmer.

 “Also pile fuel bones under it, make it boil well, and let the cuts simmer in it.” Ezekiel 24:5b.

The word of God has spoken, and we see it happening today. The “pot,” the State of Israel, was set on the fire in 1948 as soon as the Jewish people began to migrate there. The hand of God continues to work in this world that declares He doesn’t exist, “For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar.” Romans 3:4 Jesus Christ is indeed the truth, the life, and the way.

Today, we can see that God is piling up fuel for the fire to make the State of Israel boil well. When the boiling is turned down, then Israel will be made to simmer. This would be like Israel coming to a boiling point, then when the violence, bloodshed, and rebellion cools, it leaves Israel simmering in the heat of unsatisfaction. This describes being subdued by the powers of the global government, bringing Israel to an unwanted peace, and with the root of the conflict never really being resolved. This is the fury of the judgment of God coming against Israel.

Today, we see the unsatisfaction of the government of Israel with a proposed cease-fire and truce in the Middle East through a “Two State Solution”. This is the goal of the United Nations to unify the Middle East in the quest for peace and stability in the region. This is also the progression of the goal of the UN to be established as the one world government. Also, the United States has made it clear that Israel must conform to the standards of international law and abide by a “Two State Solution”.

While the “Two State Solution” seems certain to happen, the government of Israel will be simmering and stewing in the unwanted arrangement. The “Two State Solution” is to do for the Palestinians today what was done for the Jewish people in 1948. This would give the Palestinians the territory of East Jerusalem as its capital and leave Israel with West Jerusalem as its capital (not to mention the partition of territory between the two). This proposal leaves the government of Israel simmering in unsettled heat and resentment.
