Explosion at power plant in Vinton County Ohio

There is no original article, just what was written in the post, as pasted below,

As a teenager growing up in Ross County, I’ve been to Vinton County on several occasions. Crude jokes were said that Vinton County was the last home of true “Hillbillies”. This is located in the foothills of the Appalachians with a population of about 12,800 residents. As of this writing, over 7000 are without power.

While this is a developing story, we will probably never know the rest of the story, whether it was an act of sabotage or some type of “malfunction”. What is certain is not just the impact to the governing authorities of Vinton County but to the citizens without power, no electricity, no lights, no hot water for showering, no way to iron or wash clothes, no ovens or stoves for cooking, no radios, no televisions, no computers, etc. Then to think of all the children from over 7000 homes who will have to attend school, and the adults who will have to go to work etc. without showers, meals, clean clothes, etc. That is if schools and workplaces remained open without electricity. The shutdown of workplaces and schools literally shuts down Vinton County.

The Bible speaks about much chaos to happen on this earth, and it may seem too much to understand how such chaos could happen, but it doesn’t take much to cause social chaos. Although the Bible has been speaking of global warming for thousands of years, who would think that we would actually see it today, and to be eyewitnesses of its devastating impacts on communities around the world? The more powerful the United Nations become as the one world government the hotter and more intense the heat of global warming becomes. Global warming is the Fourth Plague of Revelation 16:8-9.

There is a tremendous number of heavy burdens that we carry in this world today, and Jesus Christ says to us, “Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

As followers of Jesus Christ, let’s let the light of the Holy Spirit shine through us in our day-to-day interaction with others. Let’s be a bit of encouragement in a discouraged world, as our Lord Jesus says, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

I saw a home that planted a sign in the front yard that said, “Jesus is Our Hope”, since then I began wearing a hat that says “Jesus”. There have been a few people who said, “I like your hat” and two were nuns. This opens the door to encourage one another with belief in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. I wear the hat more to encourage other believers than to try to bring others to live for Jesus, but maybe that will happen too.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
