Today’s culture and nations want nothing to do with the sufferings that happen by associating with Jesus Christ

Land is ravaged and struck with the plague of tumors.
“But the hand of the Lord was heavy on the people of Ashdod, and He ravaged them and struck them with tumors, both Ashdod and its territory.” 1 Samuel 5:6

In the earlier verses of 1 Samuel 5:1-5, the leaders of Ashdod tried to keep the Ark of God in the same house as their false god, Dagon. As a result, their false god was broken and all of Ashdod and its territory were ravaged and struck with the plague of tumors.

We live in a culture today where the entity that gives people what to think, say, feel, and do wants to be in the same house as where the presence of God is. That house is our body as the house of the Holy Spirit, but today’s culture calls it the “house of Dagon”, or the home of the entity that gives them their thoughts and feelings to influence what they say and do. As a result, God will and is sending plagues upon today’s global culture. The very first plague is tumors all over the body, “The first angel went and poured out his bowl on the land, and ugly,
festering sores broke out on the people…” Revelation 16:1.

The fourth plague is global warming, and the more powerful the United Nations becomes as the one world government, the more powerful and intense the heat of global warming becomes, “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” Revelation 16:8-9 Click here for a list of the Seven Last Plagues.

Today’s leaders want the Gospel of Jesus Christ put away.
“And when the men of Ashdod saw how it was, they said, “The ark of the God of Israel must not remain with us, for His hand is harsh toward us and Dagon our god.” Therefore they sent and gathered to themselves all the lords of the Philistines, and said, “What shall we do with the ark of the God of Israel?” 1 Samuel 5:7-8a

The people of Ashdod wanted nothing more to do with the Ark of God because the presence of the living God was a curse to their false god, Dagon.

The Ark of the Covenant is a symbol of God’s presence in us which is a result of the sacrifice Jesus Christ made on the altar of the Cross to atone for sin. Through Jesus Christ, we are made the house of the Holy Spirit, which is a curse to those who want to build a global culture by making the house [our body] the home of the entity that gives people what to think, do, say, and feel. “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you? If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:16-17

The world government and its global culture want nothing to do with having the presence of God living within the heart and soul of the global population. Today’s culture is built on atheism that denies God the Creator, scoffs at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and suppresses the presence of the Holy Spirit. There is no compatibility between the presence of God and the presence of the entity that gives people what to feel and think. “And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:15-16

In answer to the question, “What shall we do with the ark of the God?”, all around the world, the global government is on a mission to stamp out all religions and anything or anyone that is competition against the entity of their false god is. This is the entity “… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.

We see what the leaders governing over America has conspired to do with the Ark of the Covenant, which includes the Gospel of Jesus Christ that leads us into the presence of God. The values of the Bible are no longer integrated into the policies and laws of government lawmakers. The leaders of the educational system do not allow the teaching of the Bible in the classrooms. The leaders of the churches have tossed aside the Gospel of Jesus Christ. And Christianity is not welcomed in any sector of society.

Global leaders decided to put away the Gospel of Christ and all nations and people follow.
“And they answered, “Let the ark of the God of Israel be carried away to Gath.” So they carried the ark of the God of Israel away. So it was, after they had carried it away, that the hand of the Lord was against the city with a very great destruction; and He struck the men of the city, both small and great, and tumors broke out on them.” 1 Samuel 5:8b-9

The global, national, state, and local leaders have already decided to carry away the Ark of God, which includes the Gospel of Christ, from their midst. They are making religion a local and personal issue for the people to decide, and no one of today’s culture want anything to do with Jesus Christ. Trying to mix the presence of God with the entity that has power over their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors is a curse to them.

In every city around the globe, those who choose the false God of this world over Jesus Christ will suffer very great destruction, and plagues are and will come upon them. The lowest of social status to the most prominent suffers the same.

Today, the Ark of God has become a hot potato in the hands of the global culture. As a result of choosing the false God of this world, they are ridding themselves of Jesus Christ as if He is a hot potato in their hands. Every city around the globe is ridding themselves of belief in God, ditching their need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and suppressing the presence of the Holy Spirit. “Therefore they sent the ark of God to Ekron. So it was, as the ark of God came to Ekron, that the Ekronites cried out, saying, “They have brought the ark of the God of Israel to us, to kill us and our people!” 1 Samuel 5:10

 “So they sent and gathered together all the lords of the Philistines, and said, “Send away the ark of the God of Israel, and let it go back to its own place, so that it does not kill us and our people.” For there was a deadly destruction throughout all the city; the hand of God was very heavy there. And the men who did not die were stricken with the tumors, and the cry of the city went up to heaven.” 1 Samuel 5:11-12

The only rightful place for the Ark of God is to be with God’s people, who were the Israelites at that time. Today, the rightful place for the presence of God is among believers, because there is life in the word of God to us who believe. “For we are unto God a sweet savor of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish: To the one we are the savor of death unto death; and to the other the savor of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things? For we are not as many, which corrupt the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.” 2 Corinthians 2:15-17
