Can God use a dead vine such as Israel?

Ezekiel 15:3

“Is wood taken from it to make any object? Or can men make a peg from it to hang any vessel on?” Ezekiel 15:3

This verse is referring to the Jewish people who are likened to a dead vine that has become unfit in service to God. They are like a dead and rotten vine that nothing can be made from it, not so much as a peg to hang a hat on.

When the Jewish people rejected Jesus Christ 2000 years ago, they were severed from the ability to produce for the will of God. Jesus says, “No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” John 15:4 As John the Baptist said, “Brood of vipers! Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance, and do not begin to say to yourselves, ‘We have Abraham as our father.’” Luke 3:7-8 Fruits of repentance includes, Godly sorrow, willingness to come to Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin, new life in the Spirit, and eternal life.

The Jewish people live only by the Old Testament and have thrown out the entire New Testament, which is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For that reason, they are dead to the fruitfulness that comes in the will of God through Jesus Christ, as quoted, “God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things…” Hebrews 1:1-2

Nothing can be taken from the entity that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say to make anything in the will of God. This entity causes death to the human spirit which prevents fruit from blossoming in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is oppressed who brings life and growth to our spirit and soul. The masses of the global culture are groomed to the mark of the beast in the deadness of their spirit and soul.

Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.” John 21:15

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
