“I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 14:13-14
The bread is thought of as being the word of God. In that light, the Israelites once had all of the Bread that existed in the world. They were the standard bearers of living for God with the Ten Commandments being solely in their possession. Today, their supply of Bread has been cut off and they are experiencing a famine. They have tossed aside the Bread of Life, who is Jesus Christ, as they only live by the Old Testament and none of the New Testament. Their famine is on them because they have turned from the will of God by rejecting Jesus Christ.
The State of Israel is being cut off from man and beast. In short, being cut off from “man” (humankind) refers to the global culture and the nations of the world coming against Israel. Being cut off from “beast” refers to being cut off from a functional economy as well as experiencing food shortages. A “beast” in the Bible often refers to animals used to farm the land, as livestock for food, as well as the wild beast within the land.
Ezekiel mentions Noah, Daniel, and Job which refers to spiritual wickedness and violence filling the world, the presence of the world government and its global culture, and the suffering and affliction of those living in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. This is a time when the Bread of Life is cut off as well as man and beast.
Noah describes the flood of wickedness rising so high that the world was destroyed. Today, we see the flood of violence rising against the State of Israel, which has been in 18 wars since they were established in 1948. There was even a war in 1948. Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. Without Jesus Christ, there is no ark to escape from the flood of the wrath of God’s judgment. God requires Israel to board the ark of Salvation which comes through His Son Jesus Christ.
Daniel describes the appearance of the global government of the beast, as does Revelation 17, which explains why the United Nations is hostile to the independence of the Jewish State of Israel. With the Independence of Israel, the goal of the UN to be established as the one world government cannot be realized. The UN insists that Israel be unified with the countries of the Middle East. In that unification, the world becomes more unified, and the United Nations gains more power as the one world government. The members of the United Nations insist on a “Two State Soultion” between Israel and the Palestinians because this is one step closer to global unification.
Job represents the trials, heartbreaks, loss of family and friends, worldly losses, and physical losses while remaining faithful to God. The Jewish people are suffering all of this within the State of Israel, but their response is one of violence, protests, and riots, instead of following the example of Job’s faithfulness. They have been violently fighting since the very first year of their existence in 1948 and have been involved in 18 wars. With that, the Israelis riot and protest against their own government to demand conformity to the will of the goal of the United Nations. God’s way is the way of peace, not violence, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6
Today, this world has been cut off from the Bread of Life and there is a famine of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The churches are no longer a light shining on the testimony of Jesus. Government lawmakers no longer include the values of the Bible in their policies and laws. The educational system no longer allows the teaching of the Bible in the classrooms. And Christianity is not welcomed in any sector of society. A global collapse of the economy is coming, which leads to a literal shortage of food, as Revelation 18 describes that devastation. This verse says it succinctly, “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’” Revelation 6:6
This world is so spiritually hardened, that even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were here personally, nobody would listen to them. They would be the only three saved because of their belief in God through Jesus Christ. The world government and its global culture do not want to hear that spiritual corruption fills the world and we need to enter the ark of Salvation through Jesus Christ. This world does not want to hear that the global government of the United Nations is the government of the beast. It has its power through the entity giving people what to feel, think, say, and do. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. They are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. This world does not want to hear of the suffering that exists under the watchful eyes and ears of the global government and that Jesus Christ came to heal the spiritually sick.
The global culture boasts, “I see” and “I know” but they are blind and ignorant to the words of Christ, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
