“Thus says the Lord God to Tyre: ‘Will the coastlands not shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded cry, when slaughter is made in the midst of you?” Ezekiel 26:15

If America is listening to God, He tells them that the coastlands will shake at her fall. The coastlands are cities where merchandise is received that arrives by water, from across the oceans. The countries importing merchandise from America will be shaken at the economic fall of America. The importers will be wounded and cry when they are no longer able to depend on and enrich themselves through American products.

Just recently, on March 26, 2024, we saw how quickly the imports of other nations can be affected by the economic adversity within America. That is the day when a cargo ship heading to Singapore hit the Francis Scott Key bridge in Baltimore, Maryland of America. Singapore lost potentially up to 52,000 tons of merchandise on that day, in just a matter of minutes. That is between 1,630 to 2,600 semi-trailers full of merchandise. We see semi-trailers hauling merchandise on American roads every day but imagine about 2,500 of them being ground to a halt. Singapore was definitely yelling “Ouch!” The American economic supply network fell on that day, and the coastland of Singapore was shaken.

What happened at the collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge is just a tiny fraction of the economy, just one cargo ship, but it had big impacts in America and even bigger impacts on Singapore. In America, 8.000 jobs were slain, and totaling an estimated loss of $15 million dollars a day. It doesn’t require a lot to cripple America’s economy and requires a lot less to devastate the coastlands that depends on the economy/merchandise of America. During the Covid Pandemic, which existed around 2019-2020, we saw how quickly the store shelves in America became bare. The economy was like that globally.

The word of God is sure to happen, and is happening, as the hand of God is working in the world today. Jesus Christ is alive in the Kingdom of God, and He is coming back. Come to God through Jesus Christ and be assured of a home in the New Jerusalem by believing in Him.

Francis Scott Key, who the bridge was named after, is one of the biggest icons of American culture. He wrote America’s National Anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner”. In just seconds, the Francis Scott Key bridge collapsed that sits in a major economic seaport of exports and imports. It was hit by a cargo ship heading to Singapore. The collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge symbolizes the collapse of the American culture and its decline as an independent economic powerhouse. God says to America, “Will the coastlands not shake at your fall, the day when the importers of your merchandise are wounded and cry?”

What is happening to America is exactly what is going to happen to the global economy of the world government. The global culture and nations around the world will be desolated, as described in Revelation 18.

To give an image of the size of the cargo ship that hit the Francis Scott Key bridge, envision an American football field. The cargo ship heading to Singapore was about as long as 3 football fields and about as wide as a single football field is wide. That is about 300 meters long and 48.2 meters wide.

As of today, April 13, 2024, the cargo ship hasn’t been moved since it hit the bridge on March 26, 2024. It’s expected the bridge will take years to rebuild. I suspect the name of the new bridge will not reflect the historical heritage of the Godly American culture. Instead, I suspect it will be more compatible with the humanistic character of the global culture.
