But he rebelled against him in sending his ambassadors into Egypt, that they might give him horses and much people.” Ezekiel 17:15a.

“Egypt” refers to the second great eagle, which relates to a nation of sin doing contrary to the will of God. This “great eagle” is the United States of America who empowers the State of Israel with military capability (intelligence, money, equipment, etc.). God does not want Israel to be weaponized. The phrase, “…he rebelled against him in sending ambassadors to Egypt…” refers to the State of Israel rebelling against the will of the world government (United Nations) by sending ambassadors to the United States. Israel relies on the USA for military support.

The United Nations is set in concrete against the Israelis using military aggression in the Middle East. The wrath of God’s judgment comes against the State of Israel through the nations united against her. Very much of the military aid from the United States of America to Israel comes in the form of money, military intelligence, etc. With the aid of the United States, Israel is built up militarily with “horses” and “much people”.

“Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things? or shall he break the covenant, and be delivered?” Ezekiel 17:15b.

The question is, “Will the State of Israel prosper and escape the wrath of God by breaking the covenant of peace?” When the State of Israel was established, the covenant was made that Israel would keep a low profile, not exalt its will over the will of the United Nations, and to contribute to peace and stability in the Middle East. This verse explains what the UN intends for Israel, “That the kingdom might be base, that it might not lift itself up, but that by keeping of his covenant it might stand.” Ezekiel 17:14 When the government of the State of Israel began going to the United States to empower themselves militarily, that broke the covenant made with the world government.

Also, the Jewish people broke the covenant of peace that God made with them through Jesus Christ. That covenant is this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 When that covenant is broken, the Holy Spirit asks, “Shall he prosper? shall he escape that doeth such things?” The Jewish people were gathered to Israel by the hand of God, where God unleashes His wrath on them, “Therefore say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “I do not do this for your sake, O house of Israel, but for My holy name’s sake, which you have profaned among the nations wherever you went.” Ezekiel 36:22

As followers of Jesus Christ, we live by the covenant of peace that God made with us through Him. The Holy Spirit guides us to live in this way, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’” Zachariah 4:6 “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 We are to put on the Armor of God of Ephesians 6:10-20.

The Jewish people are supposed to be Christians, living by the covenant of peace God has made with us. If they were Christians, the Jewish State of Israel would not exist because we do not have a nation on this earth to call our own. In that event, not one stone would be picked up in defense of Israel because there would be no State of Israel to defend. Because the Israelis reject Jesus Christ, they will not prosper and will not escape the wrath of God’s judgment coming against them.

“As I live, saith the Lord God, surely in the place where the king dwelleth that made him king, whose oath he despised, and whose covenant he brake, even with him in the midst of Babylon he shall die.” Ezekiel 17:16

God warns that the State of Israel will die because the Israelis resorted to military aggression instead of abiding by the covenant of peace within the Middle East. The will of God, through Jesus Christ, is for us to live in peace with one another, not to resort to aggression and violence. God gives us peace in the soul and spirit because there is no peace in this world. God expects the Israelis to live for Jesus Christ, not to try to find peace through police and military aggression. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

Israel was made a State (king) in 1948 under the dominion of the members of the United Nations (the king) which approved its establishment in 1947. Israel despised the oath it made to the members of the United Nations to remain a base, lowly, and peaceful nation. Israel refuses to surrender their independence to a one world government. The covenant of peace the United Nations made with the leaders of the State of Israel was broken when Israel began to be empowered militarily. Israel turned to the United States for military aid. The State of Israel will die under the dominion and rule of the members of the United Nations.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
