“Now it came to pass at the end of seven days that the word of the Lord came to me, saying, “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel; therefore hear a word from My mouth, and give them warning from Me:” Ezekiel 3:16-17
“At the end of seven days” refers to after Ezekiel sat for seven days among the captives of the Israelites. During those seven days, he was filled with anger and bitterness and did not speak a word or do a thing. He did not want to speak the word of God with an angry and bitter tone. Click here for that post. At the end of those seven days, the Lord informs Ezekiel that he has been made a watchman for the house of Israel. Without anger and bitterness, Ezekiel is to give the Israelites the warning given by God.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are never to share the word of God with bitterness and anger, but with peace, meekness, and gentleness. In the Spirit of God’s love, we are to bring others the warning given to us through the word of God. “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17 We are the watch people over the captives of sin. We want to prepare them for the coming of Jesus Christ and the inheritance of eternal life that comes by believing in Him.
The world government of the beast has created a global culture that denies the existence of God the Creator. They reject the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ and oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. In place of the spirit and human conscience, people are living by the entity that gives them what to feel, think, say, and do. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
The message we bring to the culture of this world is that God has created us to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 We give a warning against becoming the temple of the one who governs through thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. This is the one “… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. The warning is that, “…If anyone defiles the temple of God, God will destroy him. For the temple of God is holy, which temple you are.” 1 Corinthians 3:17
Whether anyone listens to us or not, we share the word of God, like “The voice of one crying in the wilderness: “Prepare the way of the Lord; Make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted and every mountain and hill brought low;” Isaiah 40:3-4
Some of the warnings in the word of God are as follows; Global warming is here which plays a part in destroying the power center of the beast (Revelation 16:8-11), which renders the global government of the beast powerless. With the world government being powerless, the Battle of Armageddon enters, Revelation 16:12-16. The global government of the beast is operating through the United Nations as described in Daniel 8 and also Revelation 17, and we are seeing the fulfillment of Revelation 13. These are things we warn this world about, and we pray they come to know the love of God through Jesus Christ for the remission of sin.
“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
