The Holy Spirit makes us strong in the face of those who reject Jesus Christ.

“Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.” Ezekiel 3:8

The Jewish population are very strong and adamant about the rejection of Jesus Christ as their Messiah, “You stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears! You always resist the Holy Spirit; as your fathers did, so do you. Which of the prophets did your fathers not persecute? And they killed those who foretold the coming of the Just One,” Acts 7:51-52

The Holy Spirit says to us who follow Jesus Christ, “...let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.” Hebrews 10:22-23 Likewise, we are not going to surrender our body, which is the home of the Holy Spirit, to become the seat of government for the entity that has power over physiology to give people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. The Holy Spirit has made our forehead strong against theirs.

“Like adamant stone, harder than flint, I have made your forehead; do not be afraid of them, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they are a rebellious house.” Ezekiel 3:9

God does not want us to be afraid nor dismayed at the hostile looks coming from the anti-Christian social network that are rebellious against the teachings of the Bible. God wants us to be strong in His word and in the Holy Spirit, “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.” Ephesians 6:10 Click here for a post on the hostile world around us from Psalms 73

“Moreover He said to me: “Son of man, receive into your heart all My words that I speak to you, and hear with your ears.” Ezekiel 3:10

The word of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, needs to be received into our spirit and soul as a part of who we are. “This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord: I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds I will write them,” then He adds, “Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.” Hebrews 10:16-17

“And go, get to the captives, to the children of your people, and speak to them and tell them, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ whether they hear, or whether they refuse.” Ezekiel 3:11

There are many who are captives to sin who need to hear about the remission of sin that comes through Jesus Christ, and the Jewish people are among those captives. Whether they listen or not, our responsibility is to share the Good News,

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
