“And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubim, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the color of a beryl stone. And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.” Ezekiel 10:9-10
The wheels in this verse are by the cherubim, the guardians of Holiness. Each wheel is by a guardian of Holiness. The wheels allow movement while the cherubim guard the way of Holiness. This signifies that those who live for God through Jesus Christ will live in Holiness wherever we are propelled to go. Wherever we are made to go, we desire to be motivated by the will of God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
The description of the wheels referring to their color of a beryl stone and being a “wheel within a wheel” is the same as what is said about the wheels in Ezekiel 1: 15-17. But the similarities end there. The wheels in Ezekiel 1 are not by the guardians of Holiness. Also, in the next post on Ezekiel 10:12, the wheels have eyes everywhere on them, not anything like the eyeless wheels in chapter 1. The wheels in the first chapter correspond to Ezekiel’s vision of the space shuttle, space satellites, and space station. This entity has power over physiology to incite feelings that motivate people to move, go places, and do things. It inspires thoughts, words, and behaviors as people move around in society. Those who welcome its presence into their life are not motivated by the will of God, are not motivated by the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and are not motivated by the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place whither the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.” Ezekiel 10:11
The description of the movement of the wheels in this verse is the same as the movement of the wheels in Ezekiel 1:19-21. Except for one very important difference, in this verse the wheels go in whatever direction the head points to. In Ezekiel 1, the wheels were leading the course of direction because the spirit was in the wheels. Wherever the spirit of the wheels went decided the direction, “Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went…for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.” Ezekiel 1:20
The guardians of Holiness change the direction of the entity described in Ezekiel 1 relating to the space shuttle, space satellites, and space station. The new direction is now following whatever direction the “head” points to. The “head” is our Lord Jesus Christ, and where He leads, we follow. We follow Him in Holiness through His Gospel and by the Holy Spirit in us. We do not follow the will of the false god in high places that gives people what to think, feel, do, and say. Its purpose is to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through us. As people follow it, they are conformed to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
“As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.” Ezekiel 10:13
The wheels are now beside the guardians of Holiness and following the head, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The wheels keep us moving in the will of God as Jesus leads us, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done. On earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10 and also “Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” Luke 22:42
The false god in high places wants to look as much like God as possible and even sits in the temple of God, our body, as if it is God. This entity does that by giving people what to think, feel, do, and say and is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. “For you have said in your heart: ‘I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God; I will also sit on the mount of the congregations on the farthest sides of the north; I will ascend above the heights of the clouds, I will be like the Most High.’ Isaiah 14:13-14
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
