Terrorists attack Israel and Israel defends against terrorism

The one-day war between the terrorists and the Jewish people begins. “Now in the twelfth month, that is, the month of Adar, on the thirteenth day, the time came for the king’s command and his decree to be executed. On the day that the enemies of the Jews had hoped to overpower them, the opposite occurred, in that the Jews themselves overpowered those who hated them.” Esther 9:1

The king issued two decrees that were to be implemented on the same date. The first one authorized a terroristic attack against the Jewish people, as recorded in Esther 3:8-15. The second one permitted the Jews to defend themselves against the terroristic assault, as stated in Esther 8:3-14. Both decrees would expire on the same date that they were enacted which created a “one-day” war. The terrorists, who hated the Jewish people, were hoping to overpower them, but instead the Jewish people overpowered the terrorists.

The events of that day resemble those of October 7, 2023, when Hamas, a terrorist organization, attacked Israel. On that day, the State of Israel was granted the legal authority to attack the terrorists. Today, Satan is the terrorist coming against God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as he works through the entity giving people what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people while opposing the image of Christ from living and speaking through people. People everywhere conform to the anti-Christian global culture while opposing the culture of Christianity.

Jesus Christ has the victory over Satan, sin, and death and as His followers He has given us the authority through the Holy Spirit to resist Satan. “Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:10-12

The Jewish people are victorious over the terrorists. “The Jews gathered together in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus to lay hands on those who sought their harm. And no one could withstand them, because fear of them fell upon all people.” Esther 9:2

This verse not only celebrates the Jewish people’s triumph over terrorism on that day, but also foreshadows the ultimate victory of those who follow God through Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are the Jewish people in Spirit, “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.” Romans 2:28-29

It is clear that the global government and its anti-Christian culture do not fear the Jewish people, Christians, or God. However, the victory is the Lord’s, “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zachariah 2:8-9 No one can withstand the victory God gives to us through Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming back as King of kings and Lord of lords.

“And all the officials of the provinces, the satraps, the governors, and all those doing the king’s work, helped the Jews, because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them. For Mordecai was great in the king’s palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces; for this man Mordecai became increasingly prominent.” Esther 9:3-4

The king issued two contradictory decrees: one that sanctioned the terrorist attack on the Jews and one that allowed the Jews to fight back. This is similar to the global government of the beast (United Nations) not supporting the sovereignty of the State of Israel but allowing them to fight against the terrorism of Hamas. A royal representative’s endorsement of the Jews (Mordecai’s endorsement) was enough to persuade all the other authorities to back them. This is similar to the United Nations coyly endorsing the State of Israel in its fight against Hamas terrorism, as it has issued strong statements condemning any form of terrorism.

The fame of Jesus Christ has spread throughout the whole world as He is the Son of God who came from His Father’s palace in Heaven. Our Lord Jesus is very prominent and has been given all authority and power, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matthew 28:18 All the enemies of our Lord Jesus Christ will be defeated, “The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Psalms 110:1

When Jesus returns, He will have the armies of Heaven with Him, “And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.” Revelation 19:14 Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that He is Lord, “…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11 That is not a confession leading to Salvation but a submission of defeat to Him as Lord of lords.

“Thus the Jews defeated all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, with slaughter and destruction, and did what they pleased with those who hated them.” Esther 9:5

We are the Jewish people within the spirit and soul through Jesus Christ and we have victory through Him. “O victory in Jesus my Savior, forever He sought me, and He bought me with His redeeming blood He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him.” We have the victory with the stroke of the Sword, which is the Sword of the Spirit and word of God.

On the Day of the Lord, this present world’s system will be utterly destroyed, “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” Revelation 19:17-18

The leaders of the terrorist group from Iran are killed. The following verses are being fulfilled prophetically in this year 2024, right in front of our eyes.

“And in Shushan the citadel the Jews killed and destroyed five hundred men.” Esther 9:6

The modern location of the city Shushan would be within Iran, and the citadel was the political hub. Today, those “500 men” represent a lot of people losing their life in the name of the war on terrorism. Many are dying because of the war in the Middle East relating to their conflict against the State of Israel. When the term “state-sponsored” terrorism arises, Iran is a state referred to as sponsoring terrorism.

“Also Parshandatha, Dalphon, Aspatha, Poratha, Adalia, Aridatha, Parmashta, Arisai, Aridai, and Vajezatha— the ten sons of Haman the son of Hammedatha, the enemy of the Jews—they killed; but they did not lay a hand on the plunder.” Esther 9:7-9

A common news item nowadays is the death of a terrorist leader in the Middle East, often with a connection to Iran. The ten names listed in the verse above were the sons of the terrorist leader Haman, with a base in Iran. This is similar to rooting out the terrorist leaders of Hamas who launched an attack against Israel on October 7, 2023. The killing of terrorist leaders is not about gaining plunder, but just to eliminate the terrorist threat.

“On that day the number of those who were killed in Shushan the citadel was brought to the king.” Esther 9:11

King Ahasuerus was kept posted on the number of terrorists being killed in the government hub of Shushan. This is exactly the same as the United Nations (Global government of the beast) being kept informed on the number, the names, and country of origin of the terrorists being killed. The number of terrorists tracing back to Iran is a lot.

The king authorizes the Jewish battle against the terrorists to extend beyond one day. “And the king said to Queen Esther, “The Jews have killed and destroyed five hundred men in Shushan the citadel, and the ten sons of Haman. What have they done in the rest of the king’s provinces? ” Esther 9:12

The narcissistic and grandiose king was well aware of the extent of the destruction that the Jewish people brought to Shushan the citadel, the political hub of terrorism against the Jewish people. Shushan was located in what is now known today as Iran. Obviously, the king would be concerned about his international image and ability to keep order within his kingdom. The Jewish people were making a slaughter of the terrorists who plotted against them. The plot against the Jewish people originated with Haman through Shushan, or Iran.

The State of Israel was attacked on October 7, 2023, by the terrorist organization Hamas. Israel has been fighting back since then and continuing through this date of February 1, 2024. The war against Hamas rages on. Israel has destroyed a great number of terrorists and several terrorist leaders since that day on October 7.

The leadership of the United Nations is asking the same question of Israel that king Ahasuerus asked the Jewish people, “Israel has slaughtered many people in fighting the war against terror, and have killed terrorist leaders, what else have they done?” In fact, the United Nations has opened a case against the State of Israel for committing genocide. However, the United States of America has evidence that the UN played a direct role in conspiring with the terroristic organization Hamas against Israel. The war between Israel and Hamas benefits the United Nations in their progress to establish the one world government. They intend to eliminate the sovereignty of the State of Israel. The UN publicizes their goal for establishing a stable world of peace and security, not just in the Middle East but around the world. Their dilemma is that now they are known to be working through terrorist organizations to sabotage those not conforming to global standards. Hamas is known to be supported by Iran, which is referred to as a state sponsor of terrorism and reaches around the world and into the heart of the United States.

“Now what is your petition? It shall be granted to you. Or what is your further request? It shall be done.” Then Esther said, ‘If it pleases the king, let it be granted to the Jews who are in Shushan to do again tomorrow according to today’s decree, and let Haman’s ten sons be hanged on the gallows.’ So the king commanded this to be done; the decree was issued in Shushan, and they hanged Haman’s ten sons.” Esther 9:13-14

The king agreed to Queen Esther’s plea to extend the war against the terrorists. He also allowed the execution of the ten most notorious terrorist chiefs. We are seeing that exact same thing happening today. Israel faced an attack from the terrorist group Hamas and exercised its lawful right to wage war on terrorism. Israel’s first day of offensive against Hamas, which began with international support, has been extended as a war on terrorism. Prominent terrorist chiefs are being executed.

“And the Jews who were in Shushan gathered together again on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar and killed three hundred men at Shushan; but they did not lay a hand on the plunder.” Esther 9:15

Shushan harbored many enemies of the Jewish people who sought to destroy them. The same as Iran being known as a state sponsor of terrorism with tentacles stretched out against Israel, the United States of America, and other nations they intend to “humble”. They are working in alignment with the goals of the United Nations of establishing the one world government.

God, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the State of Israel, and Christianity are under attack in today’s world. The world government and its global culture live by the entity giving them what to do, think, feel, and say. The only intent is to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. They terrorize those who do not conform to their will. As followers of Jesus Christ, we choose to live by the image of Christ within our soul and spirit. However, people everywhere conform to the global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

“Then he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme His name, His tabernacle, and those who dwell in heaven. It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:6-8 The “he” in this verse refers to the beast associated with the image and mark of the beast.

The name of Israel is synonymous with God, and the State of Israel is under constant attack and scrutiny. The United States (which was founded on God and Jesus Christ) is always subject to increased terrorist attacks. The soul of Jesus Christ felt suffering for those experiencing affliction in this world, and He yearns to comfort us, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.” Matthew 11:29-30 A gentle and humble soul brings rest from the struggles, frustrations, losses, and oppression we suffer in this world. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Feasting and gladness of the victorious Jewish people. “The remainder of the Jews in the king’s provinces gathered together and protected their lives, had rest from their enemies, and killed seventy-five thousand of their enemies; but they did not lay a hand on the plunder. This was on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar. And on the fourteenth of the month they rested and made it a day of feasting and gladness.

But the Jews who were at Shushan assembled together on the thirteenth day, as well as on the fourteenth; and on the fifteenth of the month they rested, and made it a day of feasting and gladness. Therefore the Jews of the villages who dwelt in the unwalled towns celebrated the fourteenth day of the month of Adar with gladness and feasting, as a holiday, and for sending presents to one another.” Esther 9:16-19

Throughout the king’s territory, the Jewish people who were not involved in the battle in Shushan, united to defend themselves from any more terrorist attacks. They rested and celebrated their victory on the 14th day of the month. Those fighting in Shushan rested and celebrated their victory on the 15th day of the month. They overcame their enemy with a great victory but did not loot or plunder anything. For two days, the 14th and 15th, the Jewish people were celebrating their victory. To this day, the Jewish people celebrate the Feast of Esther, or Feast of Purim, on those days in the Jewish month of Adar.

Today, the followers of Jesus Christ are spread throughout the world under the global government of the beast. We are united through Jesus Christ, believing in God, and embracing the Holy Spirit. Our loyalty to our Lord Jesus is paramount, and we reject anything in this world that would compromise living for Him. We are under constant attack as we choose to make our body the temple of the Holy Spirit instead of serving the one “^… who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 This one sits within the human body as God by giving people what to think, feel, do, and say. Our Lord Jesus Christ came to give us protection, rest, and victory over our enemies which includes not having an interest in the things or relationships of this world. “And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:16 Jesus came to give us life, not to destroy it. Life begins when we humble ourselves under God’s authority and live for His Son, Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit. We are to separate ourselves from the world, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:4-5 The “plunder” of this world is not appealing to us who live in the Spirit with a soul alive to God, “For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?” Mark 8:36-37

As followers of Jesus Christ, our final day of rest from the tribulation of this world comes when we enter the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. This is a day when the enemies of our Lord Jesus become His footstool and every knee should bow and every tongue should confess that He is Lord. “When we all get to heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be! When we all see Jesus, we’ll sing and shout the victory!” (Church hymn)

Feast of Purim (Feast of Esther) is officially established. “And Mordecai wrote these things and sent letters to all the Jews, near and far, who were in all the provinces of King Ahasuerus, to establish among them that they should celebrate yearly the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month of Adar,” Esther 9:20-21

Every year, on the 14th and 15th day of the Jewish month Adar, the Jewish people celebrate their salvation from the massacre planned by Haman and approved by king Ahasuerus, as Mordecai instituted. As followers of Jesus Christ, we also celebrate the victory of the Jewish people over their enemy. Without their victories, the Lord Jesus Christ would not have been born because His lineage would have been wiped off the face of the earth.

Sadly, the Jewish people do not acknowledge the Salvation God offers them through Jesus Christ. From the suffering of His soul, Jesus yearns for their Salvation and ours, and His Gospel is nothing to be ashamed of, “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, “The just shall live by faith.” Romans 1:16-17

“…as the days on which the Jews had rest from their enemies, as the month which was turned from sorrow to joy for them, and from mourning to a holiday; that they should make them days of feasting and joy, of sending presents to one another and gifts to the poor.” Esther 9:22

Only through Jesus Christ is rest given in our spirit and soul and our mourning is turned to joy. “… as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name:” John 1:12This world is full of pain and suffering, but joy will be complete in the New Jerusalem when our Lord Jesus Christ triumphs over His enemies., “Most assuredly, I say to you that you will weep and lament, but the world will rejoice; and you will be sorrowful, but your sorrow will be turned into joy.” John 16:20 On this earth, we rejoice over and celebrate our fellow Christians and do what we can to enrich those who are poor in spirit.

“So the Jews accepted the custom which they had begun, as Mordecai had written to them,  because Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, had plotted against the Jews to annihilate them, and had cast Pur (that is, the lot), to consume them and destroy them; but when Esther came before the king, he commanded by letter that this wicked plot which Haman had devised against the Jews should return on his own head, and that he and his sons should be hanged on the gallows.” Esther 9:23-25

The text explains why the Jewish people celebrate on the 14th and 15th of Adar. It started off when Haman, the hater of the Jewish people, plotted to annihilate them, to totally destroy them. The king, Esther’s husband, decided to let the Jews fight back when she told him about the threat they faced. Haman was hanged on the gallows as were his ten sons.

“So they called these days Purim, after the name Pur. “Therefore, because of all the words of this letter, what they had seen concerning this matter, and what had happened to them, the Jews established and imposed it upon themselves and their descendants and all who would join them, that without fail they should celebrate these two days every year, according to the written instructions and according to the prescribed time,” Esther 9:26-27

To this day, the Jewish people celebrate the Feast of Purim also known as the Feast of Esther. The two days on the 14th and 15th of the Jewish month of Adar have been established as the days to celebrate Queen Esther’s actions of saving the Jewish people from extinction. The Feast of Esther has been celebrated for about 2400 years from the time of the life of Queen Esther.

“…that these days should be remembered and kept throughout every generation, every family, every province, and every city, that these days of Purim should not fail to be observed among the Jews, and that the memory of them should not perish among their descendants.” Esther 9:28

While the days of the Feast of Purim (Feast of Esther) are still being celebrated by the Jewish people, the Israelis of today have drifted far from their Biblical heritage. The festivities have become contemporary and lost the meaning of what God did through Queen Esther and Mordecai to save the Jewish people from genocide.

The Israelis of today join in protests and riots to demand the government of the State of Israel to conform to the goals of the global government of the beast. Far, far from what Queen Esther and Mordecai would ever have done. The Israeli citizens have conformed to the will of the global culture by living for the entity forming what they think, feel, do, say, and believe. This entity animates the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world to unite the masses around the world as one. The Israeli citizens have conformed to the global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

“Then Queen Esther, the daughter of Abihail, with Mordecai the Jew, wrote with full authority to confirm this second letter about Purim. And Mordecai sent letters to all the Jews, to the one hundred and twenty-seven provinces of the kingdom of Ahasuerus, with words of peace and truth, to confirm these days of Purim at their appointed time, as Mordecai the Jew and Queen Esther had prescribed for them, and as they had decreed for themselves and their descendants concerning matters of their fasting and lamenting. So the decree of Esther confirmed these matters of Purim, and it was written in the book.” Esther 9:29-32

Queen Esther and Mordecai had full authority to establish the Feast of Purim (Feast of Esther) as an international holiday.
