“And you, son of man, do not be afraid of them nor be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns are with you and you dwell among scorpions; do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.” Ezekiel 2:6
People everywhere welcomes the entity that gives them their thoughts, feelings, words and behaviors. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city across the globe. They are empowered with uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition to bring hurt to our innermost feelings and unspoken thoughts. We are surrounded by briers, thorns, and scorpions who terrorize those spreading the Gospel of Christ. They make it a painful experience to talk about God the creator, to talk about the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and to live in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit says to us what God said to Ezekiel, “…do not be afraid of their words or dismayed by their looks, though they are a rebellious house.”
The way they look at us is unfriendly, uninviting, and intimidating. They boast, “Who is like the beast? Who can make war with him?” Revelation 13:4 People everywhere conform to the anti-Christian world as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

“You shall speak My words to them, whether they hear or whether they refuse, for they are rebellious. But you, son of man, hear what I say to you. Do not be rebellious like that rebellious house; open your mouth and eat what I give you.” Ezekiel 2:7-8
Our responsibility to God is simply to talk about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. How people respond to the message of the Cross has nothing to do with us. If the doors are closed to conversations about Jesus, then we walk away, if they welcome the conversation then we stay and chat, “And when you go into a household, greet it. If the household is worthy, let your peace come upon it. But if it is not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whoever will not receive you nor hear your words, when you depart from that house or city, shake off the dust from your feet. Assuredly, I say to you, it will be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah in the day of judgment than for that city!” Matthew 10:12-15
The phrase, “…open your mouth and eat what I give you…” refers to ingesting the words of the Holy Bible and not to make it more pleasant or worse than what is given from the hand of God. We are not to turn the Gospel into something that is more acceptable to those listening to us speak, this is the Gospel message, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 Nor are we to turn the word of God into something filled with condemnation, judgment, and contempt for sinners, “For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.” John 3:17
“Now when I looked, there was a hand stretched out to me; and behold, a scroll of a book was in it. Then He spread it before me; and there was writing on the inside and on the outside, and written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe.” Ezekiel 2:9-10
The “scroll of a book” is the Holy Bible given to us by people inspired by the Holy Spirit. The Old and New Testaments are given to us from God, to point the way to Jesus Christ, who infills us with the Holy Spirit. The phrase, “…there was writing on the inside and on the outside…” refers to the inside being our spirit and soul and the outside being the Bible. “You are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read by all men; clearly you are an epistle of Christ, ministered by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of flesh, that is, of the heart.” 2 Corinthians 3:2-3
The phrase, “…written on it were lamentations and mourning and woe” refers to the sorrowful feelings there are concerning the spiritual wickedness in this world. Those lamentations are written in the Bible as well as within the Spirit of us who welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit into our spirit. From the compassion, sympathy, and empathy for people within a world gone mad we want them to know a better way. We want them to see Jesus Christ as the answer who is able to put sin in remission and restore the health of the spirit and soul.
Global warming is an example of external woes of this world and of the internal urgency to share the Gospel of Christ from the internal presence of the Holy Spirit. Global warming is the Fourth Plague, and the stronger the United Nations becomes as the one world government of the beast, the stronger and more intense global warming becomes. “The fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and the sun was allowed to scorch people with fire. They were seared by the intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over these plagues, but they refused to repent and glorify him.” Revelation 16:8-9
As a part of sharing the Gospel message, I wear a t-shirt that says, “Normal Isn’t Coming Back, but Jesus Is. Revelation 14”. At least it is something, and so far, one person glanced at me and said, “Oh yeah?!,” in a less than friendly voice. I’m sure a day is coming when wearing t-shirts with “advertisement” will be banned as well. I also share the testimony of Christ with telemarketers. Once, they were selling car insurance and I replied, “I ride with Jesus Christ.” They refused to listen and hung up. Once, they were talking about a life insurance plan and I replied, “Jesus Christ has a life insurance plan.” They also did not listen and hung up. I will do what I can to share the message of the Cross given to me to share, whether they listen or not is no reflection on me.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
