In the first chapter of Ezkiel, he had a vision of the space shuttle, space station, and satellite systems. This entity has power over physiology to give people their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. It enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people and by what they say and do they oppose the Gospel of Christ. People in every city around the world conform to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. Like Ezekiel, we are sent into a hard-hearted world to share the word of God.
“And He said to me, “Son of man, stand on your feet, and I will speak to you.” Ezekiel 2:1
God wants us to stand up in the name of Jesus in this age where the people of the global culture are hardened to the Gospel of Christ. “Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— ” Ephesians 6:13-18
“Then the Spirit entered me when He spoke to me, and set me on my feet; and I heard Him who spoke to me.” Ezekiel 2:2
When the Holy Spirit enters us, we begin to hear His voice and we take a stand for Jesus Christ. The purpose of the Holy Spirit within us is to lift up the testimony of Jesus Christ to reconcile people to God. This is a common phrase in Acts and throughout the Bible, “Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them…” Acts 4:8 This is the response of the world to the Gospel of Christ, “But so that it spreads no further among the people, let us severely threaten them, that from now on they speak to no man in this name.” So they called them and commanded them not to speak at all nor teach in the name of Jesus.” Acts 4:17-18
The resistance against Jesus Christ is also rooted in the nation of Israel, “And He said to me: “Son of man, I am sending you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against Me; they and their fathers have transgressed against Me to this very day.” Ezekiel 2:3 Today, the Jewish people continue with their rebellion against God by rejecting Jesus Christ and forfeiting the Holy Spirit who lifts up the testimony of Jesus.
“For they are hard-hearted and stubborn children. I am sending you to them, and you shall say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God.’” Ezekiel 2:1-4
The Israelis are part of the global culture who are hard-hearted and stubborn against the will of God. “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life; and I will raise him up at the last day.” John 6:40 We are sent to the people of this world with this word from God, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
Those who live for the false god that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say are hardened to Jesus Christ. The intent is to harden the human spirit against Jesus Christ to prevent people from becoming the temple of the Holy Spirit. The human spirit and conscience are hardened to enliven the image of the beast to live and speak through them. People in every city around the world conform to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
“As for them, whether they hear or whether they refuse—for they are a rebellious house—yet they will know that a prophet has been among them.” Ezekiel 2:5
Whether anyone listens to the Gospel of Christ or not is out of our hands. It is not for us to convince them to listen or not, our only responsibility is to share the Gospel message. By doing that, they will know that our Lord Jesus Christ continues to live in this world. The “…testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy…” Revelation 19:10 To know where the world is within prophecy we only need to know where Jesus is within the world.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
