The Jewish people are victorious over the terrorists.

“The Jews gathered together in their cities throughout all the provinces of King Ahasuerus to lay hands on those who sought their harm. And no one could withstand them, because fear of them fell upon all people.” Esther 9:2

This verse not only celebrates the Jewish people’s triumph over terrorism on that day, but also foreshadows the ultimate victory of those who follow God through Jesus Christ. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are the Jewish people in Spirit, “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.” Romans 2:28-29

It is clear that the global government and its anti-Christian culture do not fear the Jewish people, Christians, or God. However, the victory is the Lord’s, “For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eye. For surely I will shake My hand against them, and they shall become spoil for their servants. Then you will know that the Lord of hosts has sent Me.” Zachariah 2:8-9 No one can withstand the victory God gives to us through Jesus Christ. Jesus is coming back as King of kings and Lord of lords.

“And all the officials of the provinces, the satraps, the governors, and all those doing the king’s work, helped the Jews, because the fear of Mordecai fell upon them. For Mordecai was great in the king’s palace, and his fame spread throughout all the provinces; for this man Mordecai became increasingly prominent.” Esther 9:3-4

The king issued two contradictory decrees: one that sanctioned the terrorist attack on the Jews and one that allowed the Jews to fight back. This is similar to the global government of the beast (United Nations) not supporting the sovereignty of the State of Israel but allowing them to fight against the terrorism of Hamas. A royal representative’s endorsement of the Jews (Mordecai’s endorsement) was enough to persuade all the other authorities to back them. This is similar to the United Nations coyly endorsing the State of Israel in its fight against Hamas terrorism, as it has issued strong statements condemning any form of terrorism.

The fame of Jesus Christ has spread throughout the whole world as He is the Son of God who came from His Father’s palace in Heaven. Our Lord Jesus is very prominent and has been given all authority and power, “And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” Matthew 28:18 All the enemies of our Lord Jesus Christ will be defeated, “The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, till I make Your enemies Your footstool.” Psalms 110:1 

When Jesus returns, He will have the armies of Heaven with Him, “And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses.” Revelation 19:14 Every knee will bow, and every tongue confess that He is Lord, “…that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11 That is not necessarily a confession leading to Salvation but a submission of defeat to Him as Lord of lords.

“Thus the Jews defeated all their enemies with the stroke of the sword, with slaughter and destruction, and did what they pleased with those who hated them.” Esther 9:5

We are the Jewish people within the spirit and soul through Jesus Christ and we have victory through Him. “O victory in Jesus my Savior, forever He sought me, and He bought me with His redeeming blood He loved me ere I knew Him, and all my love is due Him.” We have the victory with the stroke of the Sword, which is the Sword of the Spirit and word of God.

On the Day of the Lord, this present world’s system will be utterly destroyed, “Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.” Revelation 19:17-18
