Queen Esther, the king, and Haman meet again at the second banquet. “So the king and Haman went to dine with Queen Esther. And on the second day, at the banquet of wine, the king again said to Esther, “What is your petition, Queen Esther? It shall be granted you. And what is your request, up to half the kingdom? It shall be done!” Esther 7:1-2
At the first banquet with Queen Esther and the narcissistic and grandiose king, Haman thought he was on the inside track to power and glory. Since then, Mordecai was given the royal honors that Haman felt entitled to. He was totally crushed and humiliated and realized his ambition for power and glory was being supplanted by the king. At this second banquet, he must be less confident of his importance to the queen and king. The king asks Esther what she called the meeting for, and she is about to “spill the beans”, the whole bag.
Queen Esther reveals she is Jewish and the plot to destroy her people. “Then Queen Esther answered and said, “If I have found favor in your sight, O king, and if it pleases the king, let my life be given me at my petition, and my people at my request. For we have been sold, my people and I, to be destroyed, to be killed, and to be annihilated. Had we been sold as male and female slaves, I would have held my tongue, although the enemy could never compensate for the king’s loss.” Esther 7:3-4
Esther understands that the king, who has a narcissistic and grandiose spirit, does not care about the Jewish people because they are loyal to the Lord God, not him. She says she would have kept silent if they were only going to be enslaved, but her plea is a matter of life and death. Queen Esther reveals to her husband and king, in front of Haman, that she is Jewish. She informs the king that a decree has been issued to destroy, kill and wipe out all who are Jewish, including herself. Haman was terrified at this point, since he was the one who would have to bear the responsibility of planning to wipe out the Jewish people, who were Esther’s people. Esther petitions the king that he save her life and the life of all the Jewish people.
Satan’s plan to annihilate the Jewish people both spiritually and physically is exposed by the Holy Spirit throughout the Bible. The most recent plan, that is recorded in the contemporary history books, was the Holocaust under Hitler’s Germany. Today, we are seeing the destruction of the State of Israel hidden behind the fig leaf of world peace and security. That is part of the sufferings of the soul of Christ as He implores the Jewish people to come back to God by believing in Him. “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing! See! Your house is left to you desolate; for I say to you, you shall see Me no more till you say, ‘Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’” Matthew 23:37-39
Today, the followers of Jesus Christ are the Jewish people spiritually, “…but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.” Romans 2:29 There is a plot to destroy, kill, and annihilate the name of Jesus Christ and all of Christianity, as quoted, “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation. All who dwell on the earth will worship him…” Revelation 13:7 The “him” in that verse is the beast associated with the image and mark of the beast.
Satan works through the United Nations by the entity giving people what to think, do, feel, and say. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. They detest the name of Jesus Christ, His followers, and Israel. Under the watchful eyes and ears of the global government, Christianity and the Biblical heritage of Israel are being eradicated from off the face of this earth. The global culture feels empowered to exalt their will to annihilate the authority of God our Creator. They feel no guilt or remorse in destroying Israel or the need for Jesus Christ for the remission of sin. They see the Holy Spirit as someone to oppress, exploit, and kill. Jesus Christ felt our pain in the sufferings of His soul as He was mocked, crucified, and killed to free the suffering of our soul by atoning for sin on the Cross and giving eternal life.
The king pretentiously asks Esther who would dare to annihilate the Jewish people. “So King Ahasuerus answered and said to Queen Esther, “Who is he, and where is he, who would dare presume in his heart to do such a thing?” Esther 7:5
The king, who was narcissistic and grandiose, was aware of the scheme to exterminate the Jews, but he pretended to be ignorant while Haman, the mastermind of the plan, sat there (very nervously) and heard his lies. Back in chapter three this is written, “So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. And the king said to Haman, “The money and the people are given to you, to do with them as seems good to you.” Esther 3:10-11 Esther 3 explains the whole collaboration between king Ahasuerus and Haman.
People with a narcissistic and grandiose spirit never confess to their involvement in wrongdoing, always insist on their innocence, and use others to pin their errant behavior on. By executing Haman (verses 9-10), the king removed the only person who could implicate him in the plot to annihilate the Jewish people, among whom were his own wife Queen Esther and Mordecai.
No matter what affliction happens to the State of Israel or Christianity, the United Nations will always deny any involvement in wrongdoing. They will maintain their innocence in the name of humanitarian reasons and will find someone to blame by referring to terrorism or hate crimes.

To come into a relationship with God through Jesus Christ is to confess we have a sinful nature and not to claim our own rightness or blame others to justify ourselves. “No one is good but One, that is, God.” Matthew 19:17 Admitting we are sinners means we humble ourselves so that we decrease in self-importance and allow Jesus Christ to increase in our spirit and soul, “He must increase, but I must decrease. He who comes from above is above all; he who is of the earth is earthly and speaks of the earth. He who comes from heaven is above all.” John 3:30-31
“If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.” 1 John 1:8-10 Jesus Christ had a deep suffering in His soul for the Salvation of the suffering souls of humankind. He physically suffered death on the Cross to give us life through the atonement He made for sin.
“Who may ascend into the hill of the Lord? Or who may stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart, who has not lifted up his soul to an idol, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.” Psalms 24:3-5
Today, the people of the global culture lives by an entity which gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world and replaces the human conscience. They feel empowered to exalt their own will and version of innocence above the will and rightness of God our Creator. They feel no remorse or guilt and abhor the idea of seeing themselves as sinners in need of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin. They see the Holy Spirit as someone to oppress, accuse, exploit, and kill. People around the world conform to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
Esther names Haman as the adversary and enemy.
The accused Haman is terrified in front of the king and queen. “And Esther said, “The adversary and enemy is this wicked Haman!” So Haman was terrified before the king and queen.” Esther 7:6
When Esther revealed Haman as the adversary and enemy, he trembled with fear in the sight of her and the king. Likewise, the Holy Spirit makes it very clear who the enemy is, “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.” Ephesians 6:12 The Holy Spirit through Peter says, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1 Peter 5:9
Haman pleads with Queen Esther for his life after the king steps into the palace garden. “Then the king arose in his wrath from the banquet of wine and went into the palace garden; but Haman stood before Queen Esther, pleading for his life, for he saw that evil was determined against him by the king.” Esther 7:7
After a surge of anger, the king stepped outside into the palace garden. He had to choose how to deal with Haman. Inside, Haman was still with Queen Esther, and he begged her to spare his life. He knew the king had already determined to throw him “under the bus”. Haman’s plea for forgiveness and salvation was selfish as he did not care about the fate of the Jewish people, whom he had planned to destroy. He only wanted to save himself. He felt no remorse, guilt, or regret for plotting to annihilate the Jewish people. We can hear the words of John the Baptist reverberating against Haman, “Who warned you to flee from the wrath to come? Therefore bear fruits worthy of repentance…” Luke 3:7-8 Fruits worthy of repentance blossom in the spirit and soul with belief in God through Jesus Christ and embracing the Holy Spirit.
After God resurrected Him from the dead, Jesus Christ stepped outside from this planet and ascended into Heaven’s garden. He left behind the Jewish people who had conspired to kill Him. They must come with a truly repentant heart to humble themselves in the presence of God through Jesus Christ. This is true for every person on this planet. “Who knows if He will turn and relent, and leave a blessing behind Him—A grain offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God?” Joel 2:14 “Therefore I say to you, every sin and blasphemy will be forgiven men, but the blasphemy against the Spirit will not be forgiven men. Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him, either in this age or in the age to come.” Matthew 12:31-32
Before making Jesus Christ his Lord and Savior, the Apostle Paul spoke many blasphemous words and did many blasphemous deeds against Jesus by plotting to imprison and murder Christians. However, when he saw the bright light on the Damascus Road, he remained responsive to the Holy Spirit, Acts 9. A sincere heart in the Holy Spirit reconciles us to God through Jesus Christ and bears fruits of repentance.
The king returns from the garden and catches Haman in a comprising position with his wife Queen Esther. “When the king returned from the palace garden to the place of the banquet of wine, Haman had fallen across the couch where Esther was. Then the king said, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house? As the word left the king’s mouth, they covered Haman’s face.” Esther 7:8
When the king came back from the palace garden, he saw Haman practically lying on top of Queen Esther. He was furious that someone had dared to touch his property without his consent, showing his narcissistic and grandiose spirit. With rage he says, “Will he also assault the queen while I am in the house?‘ As soon as the king uttered those words, his servants put a black bag over Haman’s head, preparing him to be hanged.
Jesus Christ is returning again and those who are found to be unfaithful to Him and corrupting the temple of the Holy Spirit, our body, He will slay to eternal hell. Those loyal to Him through the Holy Spirit will inherit eternal life.
Click here for the parable of Jesus Christ ascending to Heaven then coming back with judgment. Jesus Christ has gone from this earth when He ascended into Heaven’s garden after His death and resurrection. He atoned for sin and whoever believes in Him will have eternal life and live with Him in the New Jerusalem. Jesus is returning and all those who are faithful to Him will inherit life in the New Jerusalem, but those who reject Him will be slain and thrown into eternal hell.
The king orders the hanging of Haman. “Now Harbonah, one of the eunuchs, said to the king, “Look! The gallows, fifty cubits high, which Haman made for Mordecai, who spoke good on the king’s behalf, is standing at the house of Haman.” Then the king said, “Hang him on it!” So they hanged Haman on the gallows that he had prepared for Mordecai. Then the king’s wrath subsided.’ Esther 7:9-10
Haman’s plan to execute Mordecai on a 75′ high gallows backfired when he himself was hanged on it. He had erected the gallows in his own front yard to sadistically enjoy the spectacle with his family and friends. Instead, they witnessed his own demise in the same spot.
Today, there are gallows built in this world by the global culture to hang the name of Jesus Christ, His followers, and all of Christianity. However, the Day of the Lord is coming when the gallows built under the watch of United Nations (global government of the beast) will be used to hang this world’s government and culture. This will happen in their own front yard (this planet) for all the world to see. The “her” in this verse refers to the global government, “Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’” Revelation 18:6-7
The global government of the beast derives its power and authority from the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. The human body is the temple of God, and he sits there through the entity giving people their thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds. As followers of Jesus Christ, we can say yes to this question, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 There is a battle for the soul of people around the world and that is why the global culture has built gallows for those making Jesus Christ their Lord and Savior.
The suffering of the soul of Jesus Christ came from the hurt He felt in knowing the suffering happening within the soul of humankind. This suffering drove our Lord Jesus Christ to endure physical suffering on the Cross to atone for our sin and restore our relationship with God. Then we could receive the Holy Spirit and be the temple of God.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
