Since October 7th, 2023, the State of Israel has been defending itself against the attacks of the terrorist organization Hamas. It is easy to draw a prophetic parallel between Haman and Hamas. Haman devised a terroristic plan to attack the Jewish people. The revelation of how Hitler’s Germany persecuted the Jewish people and caused the Holocaust is also shown through Haman.
- Haman is promoted as the king’s right-hand of power.
- Haman seeks to destroy the Jewish people due to Mordecai’s loyalty to God.
- Haman sets an attack date, accuses the Jews of rebellion, and gains permission to eradicate them.
- Haman establishes a law to eliminate the Jewish people in every city and state.
Haman is promoted as the king’s right-hand of power. “After these things King Ahasuerus promoted Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, and advanced him and set his seat above all the princes who were with him. And all the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate bowed and paid homage to Haman, for so the king had commanded concerning him. But Mordecai would not bow or pay homage.” Esther 1-2
We can see a prophetic similarity between the empowerment of Haman with the empowerment of Hamas. The terrorist group Hamas was empowered and gained strength as they settled in the Gaza Strip under the watchful eye and ear of the United Nations, the global government of the beast. Since October 7th, 2023, to this date of December 25, 2023, Israel has been fighting back against Hamas, similar to how the Jewish people were permitted to fight back against Haman’s assaults. In Hitler’s Germany, he promoted those who persecuted the Jews and demanded that they be revered as his proxies.
Haman’s ambition was to become the king’s most trusted and influential advisor. To achieve this, he had to flatter the king’s narcissistic and grandiose ego and suppress any dissent or challenge that might arise throughout the nation. He had to exalt the king’s will, image, authority, and agenda above anyone or anything else. He had to carry out the king’s commands without any moral qualms, guilt, remorse, or empathy for those who opposed the king. He had to take advantage of and deceive the weak and helpless to consolidate the king’s power. The king decreed that everyone who served him must kneel and pay homage to Haman, but Mordecai, a faithful servant of God, refused to submit to Haman.
There is a powerful entity in the world today that pervades every city and demands the allegiance and obedience of all people. “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 The human body is supposed to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, but the powerful entity occupies the human body as if it were God by giving people what to think and feel.
The powerful entity gives people what to think, feel, do, and say as it animates the image of the beast to live and speak through them. People worldwide submit to its will to create the global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by their words and deeds. The only ones who resist are those of us who serve God through Jesus Christ. “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 The “him” in this verse is the beast associated with the image and mark of the beast.
Haman seeks to destroy the Jewish people due to Mordecai’s loyalty to God. “Then the king’s servants who were within the king’s gate said to Mordecai, “Why do you transgress the king’s command?” Now it happened, when they spoke to him daily and he would not listen to them, that they told it to Haman, to see whether Mordecai’s words would stand; for Mordecai had told them that he was a Jew.” Esther 3:3-4
It is clear that the State of Israel faces accusations of violating the objectives of the United Nations, or the global government of the beast. The ultimate goal is to integrate the Middle East into a single entity that fosters harmony and stability in the area as a step towards the one world government. As I type this, around the world, people are vocalizing against Israel and supporting the terrorist group Hamas and the Palestinians. To the global culture, the Israeli government seems to be not listening. In Hitler’s Germany, the Jewish people were considered to be out of alignment with Hitler’s national agenda for no other reason than being a Jew.
Mordecai refused to bow down to Haman, despite the king’s servants urging him to obey the king. He explained that as a Jew he only worshipped God and followed the Ten Commandments, which forbade idolizing people or images, “You shall have no other gods before me. You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.” Exodus 20:3-4
As followers of Jesus Christ, we face pressure to adapt to the global culture that is influenced by the entity that gives them their thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. However, we resist this pressure because we want Jesus to be the Lord of our thoughts, feelings, words, and deeds, “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ…” 2 Corinthias 10:4-5
“When Haman saw that Mordecai did not bow or pay him homage, Haman was filled with wrath. But he disdained to lay hands on Mordecai alone, for they had told him of the people of Mordecai. Instead, Haman sought to destroy all the Jews who were throughout the whole kingdom of Ahasuerus—the people of Mordecai.” Esther 3:5-6
Mordecai, a Jew, refused to bow down to anyone or anything except the Lord God. Haman became furious when he felt his efforts to uphold the king’s supremacy throughout the land were challenged. Haman exploited Mordecai’s rebellion as a chance to strengthen the king by wiping out all the Jews, who followed the Lord God’s will rather than the will of the narcissistic and grandiose king. Haman felt no empathy or guilt for his plan (This is similar to the plight of the Jewish people under Hitler’s Germany, who endured the horrific events of the Holocaust.). Until then, Queen Esther’s Jewish identity and her being the cousin of Mordecai had remained a secret. But soon, she would reveal this shocking news to her husband and king, as written about in Esther 7:3-4
Today, Christians and the name of Jesus Christ are being eradicated from off the face of the earth. The Gospel of Christ is no longer preached in the churches, government lawmakers do not include the values of the Bible in their policies, schools are not teaching Bible principles in the classrooms, and Christianity is not wanted in any sector of society. “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” Revelation 13:7 The “him” in this verse is the beat associated with the image and mark of the beast.
Haman chooses a date for his assault, claims that the Jews are rebels, and obtains the king’s approval to annihilate them. “In the first month, which is the month of Nisan, in the twelfth year of King Ahasuerus, they cast Pur (that is, the lot), before Haman to determine the day and the month, until it fell on the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar.” Esther 3:7
The phrase “…to determine the day and the month…” indicates the date that Haman chose to kill all the Jewish people, just as the terrorist group Hamas chose October 7, 2023, to attack Israel. Also, like Haman, Hitler wanted to eradicate every single Jewish person. The Holocaust alone reveals Hitler’s extermination of six million Jews in Germany by subjecting them to gas chambers and other forms of torture and suffering.
To this day, the Feast of Esther, also known as the Feast of Purim, is celebrated every year on the 14th of the Hebrew month of Adar. The feast celebrates the Jewish people given the leeway by the king to fight against the terrorist attack planned by Haman, who plotted to massacre them. By appealing to the king, Queen Esther secured the right for the Jewish people to fight back against the terrorism. This mirrors the State of Israel being given the leeway to fight back against the terrorist group Hamas under the government of the United Nations. Hitler deprived the Jewish people of any opportunity to resist, he herded them like sheep to their slaughter.
“Then Haman said to King Ahasuerus, “There is a certain people scattered and dispersed among the people in all the provinces of your kingdom; their laws are different from all other people’s, and they do not keep the king’s laws. Therefore it is not fitting for the king to let them remain.” Esther 3:8
The Jewish people were the target of Haman’s attack because they did not follow the king’s laws and they differed from the other people who lived in various cities and states. They followed the Ten Commandments which made them a peculiar people set apart for God. Today, Hamas has attacked the State of Israel because they know Israel does not conform to the goals of the United Nations (the global government of the beast). The United Nations aims to unify the Middle East as a step towards establishing the one world government. However, Israel stands out from its neighbors in the Middle East because it does not conform to the agenda of relinquishing its sovereignty to the world authority. The international community does not think that Israel should remain in its current form.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are different from the global culture, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a Holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvellous light…” 1 Peter 2:9 The government of the beast does not think it is fitting for Christianity to remain as is.
The global culture of the beast lives by the entity giving them what to think, feel, do and say but we desire to conform to the image of Christ in what we think, feel, do, and say. They surrender their body to that entity “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 Click here for a post on the “man of sin”. As followers of Jesus Christ, we dedicate our body as the temple of the Holy Spirit, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 We stand apart as people who are different and peculiar from the anti-Christian ways of this world, “…what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For you are the temple of the living God.” 2 Corinthians 6:16
“If it pleases the king, let a decree be written that they be destroyed, and I will pay ten thousand talents of silver into the hands of those who do the work, to bring it into the king’s treasuries.” Esther 3:9
Haman swore to annihilate a people whom the narcissistic and grandiose king would have deemed to have no value. Haman financed the war against the Jewish people himself, depositing money into the royal treasury and then withdrawing it to pay those carrying out the terrorism. All he required from the king was permission to authorize the destruction of the Jewish people.
Hamas’s actions resemble those of Haman. They fund terrorism against the State of Israel with the tacit or implied approval or leniency of the international community. The war does not benefit the State of Israel at all, but it boosts the United Nations and the Palestinian people. As it stands today, the State of Israel has no value to the global government of the beast because Israel is unwilling to give up its sovereignty to a one world government.
Today, the global culture of the beast has tacit or implied permission to destroy not only the State of Israel but also the belief in God, the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and the presence of the Holy Spirit. They destroy the idea of the authority of God the Creator and assert their own will. They do not feel any guilt, regret, or remorse, and bring destruction to the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They treat the Holy Spirit as someone to oppress, manipulate, abuse, and destroy.
“So the king took his signet ring from his hand and gave it to Haman, the son of Hammedatha the Agagite, the enemy of the Jews. And the king said to Haman, “The money and the people are given to you, to do with them as seems good to you.” Esther 3:10-11
The king, who was narcissistic and grandiose, officially allowed Haman, who hated the Jewish people, to terrorize and destroy them. The king was indifferent and felt no empathy for the people who worshipped the Lord God instead of him. Today, Hamas, a group that harbors hatred for the Jewish people, has been permitted under the watch of the United Nations to terrorize the State of Israel as is their desire. Although that permission is not explicitly stated, it is certainly official in a tacit or implied way. Israel’s existence as a sovereign state hinders the establishment of a one world government, which is why the world leaders are indifferent and lack empathy for the State of Israel.
Haman establishes a law to eliminate the Jewish people in every city and state. “Then the king’s scribes were called on the thirteenth day of the first month, and a decree was written according to all that Haman commanded—to the king’s satraps, to the governors who were over each province, to the officials of all people, to every province according to its script, and to every people in their language. In the name of King Ahasuerus it was written, and sealed with the king’s signet ring.” Esther 3:12
One thing about doing something in the name of a narcissistic and grandiose person is they never take responsibility for failures, but blames those who tarnish their image and authority. This was the fate of Haman, whose plot against the Jewish people backfired when Queen Esther revealed her Jewish identity. The narcissistic King Ahasuerus ordered him to be hanged for his treachery as written in Esther 7. Today, Hamas is properly called a terrorist organization even though they had been given the leeway to attack the State of Israel. Its fate will resemble that of Haman. Likewise, in the name of Hitler, laws went out to every governing official from top to bottom to eradicate the Jewish people. His fate didn’t end well either.
The war between Hamas and Israel, which started on October 7, 2023, is still raging on January 4, 2024. Despite the advanced intelligence, military and global organizations in the world, no one is intervening to stop the violence. It seems that there are hidden or implied decrees to let the conflict continue. Hamas seems to have obtained everything it wanted from the international community. It is clear that the terroristic attack on the State of Israel is done on behalf of the United Nations and the Palestinians, who are the only beneficiaries of this situation. Their goal is to impose a one world government and undermine the sovereignty of Israel.
Voices around the world and the United Nations are already accusing Israel of targeting civilians. The world powers have promised that the State of Israel will not be part of governing the territory of the Gaza Strip after defeating Hamas.
Just as Haman in the past and Hamas in the present act under the tacit or implied approval of the authorities, so does the global culture of the beast. They are influenced by the entity that gives them their thoughts, feelings, actions, and words. There are no explicit bans on living for Jesus Christ, but His Gospel has declined sharply since 1945, when the United Nations was formed as spoken about in Daniel 8. It ushered in the global rule of the beast. Nowadays, the Gospel of Christ is missing from the churches, the legislators no longer incorporate the values of the Bible in their laws, the schools no longer permit the teachings of the Bible in the classrooms, and Christianity is unwelcome in any sphere of society.
“And the letters were sent by couriers into all the king’s provinces, to destroy, to kill, and to annihilate all the Jews, both young and old, little children and women, in one day, on the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, which is the month of Adar, and to plunder their possessions.” Esther 3:13
While we see the State of Israel constantly under siege in the effort to erode their sovereignty, Christians are also known spiritually as being Jewish, “For he is not a Jew who is one outwardly, nor is circumcision that which is outward in the flesh; but he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the Spirit, not in the letter; whose praise is not from men but from God.” Romans 2:28-29 Christianity is under attack, facing persecution and devastation in cities across the globe. “It was granted to him to make war with the saints and to overcome them. And authority was given him over every tribe, tongue, and nation.” Revelation 13:7 The “him” in this verse refers to the beast associated with the image and mark of the beast.
“A copy of the document was to be issued as law in every province, being published for all people, that they should be ready for that day. The couriers went out, hastened by the king’s command; and the decree was proclaimed in Shushan the palace. So the king and Haman sat down to drink, but the city of Shushan was in confusion.” Esther 3:14-15
There is no doubt that with every event that puts hardship on the sovereignty of the State of Israel the United Nations rejoices (global government of the beast). They rejoice that without conformity to the progress of establishing the one world government there is no peace for Israel. In a sense, the same way that Haman and the king sat down to drink, the United Nations and Hamas are sitting down to drink.
Shushan is in modern day Iran and the citadel in Shushan is the government center. Haman’s order to attack the Jewish people was sent to the governing authorities in Iran. In Esther 8:11 an order was sent putting the government in Iran on notice that the Jewish people would be allowed to legally defend themselves. In Esther 9:6-12 the Jewish people killed many of their enemies who were working in Iran’s governing center as well as many of the citizens of Iran. The map below shows where Iran is in relationship to king Ahasuerus territory, which reached from India to Ethiopia.

The king, who was narcissistic and grandiose, rejoiced with Haman over a drink. He believed he would eliminate those who worshiped the Lord God and did not acknowledge him as their master. Today, everyone in the world is expected to conform to the global culture that gives them their thoughts, feelings, actions, and words. It allows the image of the beast to animate to live and speak through people everywhere as the human conscience is replaced. As a consequence, psychopathic traits spread globally and people suffer from the chaos of fractured relationships, conflicts, anti-social behaviors, and lawlessness.
Confusion comes as people feel empowered to exalt their own will over others and above the authority of God the Creator. Confusion comes because people feel no remorse or guilt within interactions and feel no need for forgiveness which comes through Jesus Christ. Confusion comes because the meek and gentle qualities in each other are attacked as the Holy Spirit is seen as someone vulnerable to exploit, manipulate, kill, and oppress.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
