The first two signs Jesus gave us refer to the atonement of sin and life in the Spirit.

John 4:54

“This again is the second sign Jesus did when He had come out of Judea into Galilee.” John 4:54

The two miracles refer to changing the water into wine and healing a child who was near death. The first miracle refers to the Lord Jesus as being the New Wine, which is the New Covenant as described here, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 The second miracle refers to fostering belief in Jesus Christ as the giver of spiritual life and eternal life, as stated here, “For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will.” John 5:21 Jesus is the resurrection and life.

We live in a world today where the Gospel of Christ is rejected, and the human spirit is hardened against being born again in the spirit through Jesus Christ. People in every city around the world welcome the thing giving them what to think, feel, say and do which causes them to reject the Spirit. The masses allow the image of the beast to live and speak through them by the thing forming their thoughts and feelings. They do not acknowledge God as their Creator, do not believe the testimony of Jesus Christ, and are hardened against the Holy Spirit. They are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

We can assess that the first two signs Jesus gave us sum up the purpose of His coming. The first represents Him giving His life on the Cross to atone for sin, and the second reveals the life He gives in the Spirit as we believe in Him. For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son so that whoever believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life. The diagnosis is that today’s global culture discards the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ and hardens the human spirit against life in the Spirit of Christ.

We plan to acknowledge that Jesus Christ is the New Wine (New Testament) which brings spiritual life to us by being born again through the Holy Spirit by the remission of sin. We implement that plan by accepting what Jesus did for us on the Cross to atone for sin to give us new life in the spirit and eternal life beyond the grave. We know the plan is successful as we embrace the Holy Spirit, live for Jesus Christ, and believe in God as our Creator.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
