- Jesus knows our sins and accepts us as we come to Him.
- We want the Lord Jesus to stay with us, and He will.
- Many came to believe directly by the word of God, not by word of mouth.
- Jesus Christ has no honor in His own country which He created.
- It is our hope that people will follow the signs of the Spirit of Christ.
Jesus knows our sins and accepts us as we come to Him. “And many of the Samaritans of that city believed in Him because of the word of the woman who testified, “He told me all that I ever did.” John 4:39
The important thing about meeting Jesus Christ is to tell other people about Him. We are able to tell people that He knows all about our unclean and sinful life and still accepts us the way we are. The Gospel of Christ has reached every corner of the world by sinners, saved by grace, believing in Him after hearing the Word brought to them by word-of-mouth.
“I, even I, am He who blots out your transgressions for My own sake;
And I will not remember your sins.”
Isaiah 43:25
There is a thing in this world with power over physiology and it knows all about us, apparently from our birth to this present moment of life. It is able to humiliate and scorn us by recalling to us every sinful thing we have ever done. It is very unforgiving and harsh as it uses our past sinfulness to browbeat us into submission to welcome its ability to form what we think, feel, say and do. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through us as God is blasphemed, the need for Jesus Christ is discarded, and the Holy Spirit is trampled on. As it lives and speaks through people they are conformed to their place in life, or mark in life, as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
The grace and mercy which God extends to us through Jesus Christ does not hold our past sins against us, no matter how many times Satan causes our thoughts and feelings to recall them. We just need to continue to lift up the name of the Lord Jesus because all who believe in Him will not perish in Hell but will have eternal life.
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bidst me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt,
Fightings and fears within, without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Church Hymn
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come.
We can assess that others who are cast aside by society will turn to Jesus Christ when they hear His followers talk about His Good News. Jesus already knows everything about us, and that doesn’t stop Him from accepting us. The diagnosis is that in a world of 8 billion people, Jesus Christ is the only one to turn to for truth, mercy, love and eternal Salvation. The plan is to share the word of the Gospel of Christ to those who are beat down and rejected by those who have a form of Godliness but reject the spiritual needs of the soul. We implement that plan by letting the light of our spirit shine to reflect our Lord Jesus who is the Light of the World. We know that plan is successful when others see that we are different within a world where love has gone cold and hears the words of hope which Jesus offers.
We want the Lord Jesus to stay with us, and He will. “So when the Samaritans had come to Him, they urged Him to stay with them; and He stayed there two days.” John 4:40
As sinners coming to Jesus Christ, we want Him to stay with us, and He does. He stays with us within our soul by the infilling of the Holy Spirit who comes to us by the remission of sin. Sin is to reject God, discard the need for Jesus, and to trample on the Holy Spirit. Our sin is forgiven when we believe in God, accept His Son Jesus Christ, and welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit. We are saved by believing Jesus Christ is alive after being resurrected from the dead and by confessing that Jesus is Lord.
The thing forming what we think, feel, say and do has its existence through sin as it blasphemes God, discards the need for the Lord Jesus, and tramples on the Holy Spirit. Its existence is to enable the image of the beast to speak and live through people and opposes the Spirit of Christ staying within a person’s soul. As it lives and speaks through people they are conformed to their place in life, their mark in life, as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
We are the temple of the Holy Spirit where the Spirit of Christ stays, but the thing which forms thoughts, feelings, and behaviors wants to sit in the temple as if it were God, and to evict Jesus, “…he opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 The “he” in the verse above refers to the “man of sin”, which is described in 2 Thessalonians 2
As followers of Christ, we have a new song to sing which goes something like this,
Heaven came down and glory filled my soul
When at the cross my Savior made me whole
My sins were washed away
And my night was turned to day
When heaven came down and glory filled my soul
O, what a wonderful, wonderful day
Day I will never forget
When I was wandering in darkness away
Jesus my Savior I met
(Church Hymn)
We can assess that we who have experienced the presence of Jesus Christ wants Him to remain with us through the Holy Spirit. The diagnosis is that those of the global culture rejects the Gospel of Christ and do not want His presence with them. We plan to urge the Spirit of Christ to remain with us as we live in this world which is increasingly hostile to Christianity and the State of Israel. We implement that plan by acknowledging our need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ and embracing the presence of the Holy Spirit. We know that plan is successful when the Lord Jesus lives in us, and we confess our belief in God. We believe in our heart that God has raised Jesus Christ from the dead and say with our mouth that He is Lord.
Many more came to believe directly by the word of God, not by word of mouth. “And many more believed because of His own word. Then they said to the woman, “Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world.”” John 4:41-42
While many people have come to Jesus Christ by others sharing the testimony of Jesus, many more have come to Jesus by His own word. They have heard the voice of the Holy Spirit, they have read the Bible for themselves, and they made a decision to believe God, accept Jesus Christ as a part of their life, and to welcome the presence of the Holy Spirit.
The world we live in today gives people no alternative but to find Jesus Christ for themselves. That’s because the word of the Gospel of Christ is not being shared in the world today. The churches no longer share the testimony of Jesus, the global “democratic” society has banned Christian evangelism, and the teachings of the Bible has become stigmatized as being filled with hate, bigotry, offensive to human dignity, and being inhumane.
We live in a world which wears the fig leaf of humanism rooted in the thing which forms thoughts, feelings, words and behaviors. The only word they believe in is what is spoken and lived through the image of the beast, which is given life by the thing which forms what we think and feel. People in every city around the world are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
The word of God will always be the Book for me, and as my grandmother once told me, “We have to hide the word of God in our heart because one day it will not be here.”
The B-I-B-L-E, yes that’s the book for me.
I stand alone on the Word of God.
The B-I-B-L-E.
(Church song)
We can assess that we can hear about the testimony of Jesus Christ from the words of others or directly from the Holy Bible and Holy Spirit. The diagnosis is that in today’s global culture there is very little being said by others or personally learned about what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross for the remission of sin and eternal life. We plan to listen for the Holy Spirit within our spirit to come to the realization that Jesus is indeed the Christ and Savior of the world. There is a huge, huge difference between the word of God and the word of the thing which forms what people think, feel, say and do. We implement the plan by discerning what others say and discerning our thoughts and feelings from the words of Jesus Christ which lives in the spirit. We know the plan is successfully implemented when within ourselves we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, our Lord and the Christ who brings Salvation to the whosoever.
Jesus Christ has no honor in His own country which He created. “Now after the two days He departed from there and went to Galilee. For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.” John 4:43-44
“…the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10 If you want to know where the world is in prophecy just look at where Jesus is within the world.
“Now after the two days He departed from there and went to Galilee. For Jesus Himself testified that a prophet has no honor in his own country.” John 4:43-44
In a sense, this world is the country of Jesus because He is the one who created it. As a Prophet, the Lord Jesus came to bring us the word which God gave Him to share with us. It’s the same word of prophecy which His followers share because we are sharing the testimony of Jesus, which is, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 His own country crucified Him for the prophecy He brought to us from God. As Jesus said, “…a prophet has no honor in His own country.” Bible prophecy has been thrown out by today’s global culture involving Zechariah, Daniel, Ezekiel, Matthew 24, Revelations, Genesis 6 etc. which centers around how the world relates to the testimony of Jesus Christ.
We live in a world today which browbeats, afflicts, persecutes, and extinguishes the messengers of the Gospel of Christ. Revelation 12 talks about Christian births being snuffed out. It is exactly the prophecy which Jesus gave to us when He gave the parable of the vinedressers, as quoted below,
Hear another parable: There was a certain landowner who planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a winepress in it and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country.
Now when vintage-time drew near, he sent his servants to the vinedressers, that they might receive its fruit. And the vinedressers took his servants, beat one, killed one, and stoned another. Again he sent other servants, more than the first, and they did likewise to them.
Then last of all he sent his son to them, saying, ‘They will respect my son.’ But when the vinedressers saw the son, they said among themselves, ‘This is the heir. Come, let us kill him and seize his inheritance.’ So they took him and cast him out of the vineyard and killed him.
Matthew 21:33-39
We can assess that Jesus Christ has no honor in His own country which He created, which is this world. The diagnosis is that the global culture has rejected the Gospel of Christ and Bible prophecy in exchange for receiving the thing which forms their thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. The plan is to acknowledge the Lord Jesus as the Prophet sent by God to atone for sin and to realize that without Him there is no prophecy. The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy. We implement that plan by centering all Bible prophecy around Jesus Christ who brings the remission of sin, the Holy Spirit, and reconciliation with God. The plan is successful when Jesus Christ is the focus of all prophecy, and we look for Jesus in the world to determine where the world is in Bible prophecy.
It is our hope that people will follow the signs of the Spirit of Christ. “So when He came to Galilee, the Galileans received Him, having seen all the things He did in Jerusalem at the feast; for they also had gone to the feast.” John 4:45
The only way that people will see the signs of Jesus Christ in this world is when His Spirit lives and speaks through us, “The kingdom of God does not come with observation; nor will they say, ‘See here!’ or ‘See there!’ For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:20b.-21 As followers of Christ, it is our prayer that those around us will see that the Spirit in us is very much different than the spirit in the world, “Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.” 1 Corinthians 2:12
The kingdom of God is within us through the Holy Spirit, by the remission of sin which Jesus Christ gives, and not something which we can see in this world. However, this world is dominated by those who show only the signs of the image of the beast living and speaking through them. That happens because they receive the thing which forms what they think, feel, say and do. They habitually blaspheme God, discard the need for Jesus Christ, and trample on the Holy Spirit. They are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we hold firm to His testimony as the whole world refuses to receive Him, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8 The “him” in the verse above is the beast behind the mark and image of the beast.
We assess that when we see what the Lord Jesus Christ is able to do to change the spirit of a person, we receive Him as we feast on the Holy Spirit by the remission of sin. The diagnosis is that the global culture is blind to what Jesus Christ is able to do because they harden the human spirit to the Spirit of Holiness. “…the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.” 1 Corinthians 2:14 We plan to receive Jesus Christ by turning our eyes on the Spirit and allowing the things of this world to become dimmer. We implement that plan by feeding our spirit with the Gospel of Christ, the entire word of God, and embracing the Holy Spirit through the remission of sin. We know the plan is successful as we receive Jesus Christ through the spirit and the things of this world becomes less and less important.
Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
