Jesus Christ is the water of life within us and worshipping God is from the Spirit within

Jesus said to her,
“Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain,
nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.
God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.

Driven from a comfortable ministry to sharing the Gospel to unclean sinners. “Therefore, when the Lord knew that the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John (though Jesus Himself did not baptize, but His disciples), He left Judea and departed again to Galilee. But He needed to go through Samaria.” John 4:1-4

The baptism done by John and the disciples of Jesus was the baptism of Jewish people. The Pharisees became aware that the disciples of the Lord Jesus Christ were drawing even larger crowds than John the Baptist. One by one, the Pharisees were losing their grip, power, and authority on the Jewish people to Jesus and John. Jesus knew the Pharisees would be coming in force against Him, so He decided to leave the area. He needed to go through Samaria. The Samaritans were as detestable as the Gentiles to the Jewish people, and the Jews had nothing to do with Samaritans. The Samaritans were considered rejects which God had abandoned.

The one thing the Pharisees could not tolerate is for masses of people to be drawn away from their grasp. First, John was drawing the people in mass numbers, and now Jesus is drawing even more people than John. Even though Jesus did not baptize anyone with water, He was considered the leader behind the baptisms. The Pharisees were on the “edge of their seat” anticipating a way to put down the mass gatherings. Part of the attitude of the Pharisees was because the Romans held them responsible for any religious unrest or uproar within the Roman Empire. The Pharisees were losing their Roman-given authority as well as the authority they had over the people by corrupting the Old Testament law.

Jesus left Judaea to escape the uproar centering around the masses being baptized in His name. He desired to continue to do what He was sent to do without distraction, to declare the arrival of the Kingdom of God and the forgiveness of sin. He needed to go through Samaria which was considered an unclean and sinful place equal to the non-Jewish Gentiles. Jesus was a Jew, from the Tribe of Judah, with a family tree leading all the way back to Adam. The Jewish people, including Jesus, were expected to avoid the Samaritans like they would a plague.

Today, sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ is like water baptism, but the ministry of Jesus Christ is to baptize in the Holy Spirit. After the Gospel is shared and believed then comes the baptism of the Holy Spirit. The leaders within today’s churches are expected to keep tabs on their congregations. They have to ensure that the Gospel of Christ is not shared among the masses and that the Spirit of Christ is not infilling the human spirit. That is why the essence of John 3:16 is no longer shared in the churches.

The governors of this world need the human spirit to be hardened to build a wall against the Spirit of Christ. They insist that the masses are drawn to them through the thing which forms what people think, feel, say and do which enables the image of the beast to speak and live through them. As it lives and speaks through people, they are conformed to their place in life, their mark in life, which enables the governors of the “democratic” society to keep a firm grasp on the masses of people. People in every city around the world are kept in their place as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

Today, Jesus needs to go through Samaria, which is to say the Gospel of Jesus Christ needs to reach those who are considered the un-cleanest of sinners. The comfortable Sunday ministry within the churches and public street ministry no longer exists.

Sharing the testimony of Jesus is within a world which makes a mockery of the Holy Spirit and of the life of Holiness. They ridicule and mock the idea of the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. They have no belief in God the Creator. They include those of the anti-Christian global culture as well as those who rebel against the global culture of the beast, and both reject the Gospel of peace and eternal Salvation. There are those who rebel against the Gospel of Christ and at the same time rebel against the global culture. They live by carnal desires of bitter, angry, and vengeful attitudes as well as indulging in carnal pleasures, including substance abuse and many other vices. Love has grown cold in this world as the human spirit has become hardened to Jesus Christ.

Even though we know walls are built against spreading the testimony of Jesus, God still cares about the outcasts, and someone will be held responsible, and the governing authorities are high on the list. God has already condemned and pronounced His judgment on the global government of the beast.

Take counsel, execute judgment;
Make your shadow like the night in the middle of the day;
Hide the outcasts,
Do not betray him who escapes.
Let My outcasts dwell with you, O Moab;
Be a shelter to them from the face of the spoiler.

Isaiah 16:3-4a.

Jesus Christ came to the land of unclean sinners to fulfill the promise made to Abraham. “So He came to a city of Samaria which is called Sychar, near the plot of ground that Jacob gave to his son Joseph.” John 4:5

Coming to Samaria symbolizes Jesus Christ coming to everyone considered to be unclean sinners. The land Jacob gave to Joseph was a double portion above all his other eleven brothers, as described in Genesis 48:22. That is symbolic of Christianity being given the larger blessing above all the nation of Israel. The younger child (Christianity) received the greater blessing of the elder child (Israel). In that way, the promise God made to Abraham to multiply his descendants came through Jacob through Jesus Christ. The Jewish people are no longer able to claim exclusive rights to God because whatever unclean sinner believes in the Lord Jesus becomes a part of the family of God.

Abraham was the father of Isaac and Isaac was the father of Jacob. Abraham was about to sacrifice his only son Isaac as a sin offering to God, and that would have dashed any hope whatsoever of God’s promise being fulfilled of multiplying Abraham’s descendants. Jacob would not have been born and neither would the Twelve Tribes of Isarael. The Twelve Tribes of Israel are the twelve sons of Jacob, but Jacob’s name was changed to Israel in Genesis 32:27-28. That is why they are called the Twelve Tribes of Israel and not the Twelve Tribes of Jacob. Moments before Abraham plunged the knife into the heart of Isaac, God provided an animal sacrifice. That enabled Jacob to be born which gave birth to the nation of Israel to fulfill God’s promise to Abraham. That represents God sending Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for our sin. His sacrifice enabled Christianity to be born and greatly multiplied the descendants added to Abraham’s lineage.

When Israel is spoken of in the Bible, the name refers to Jacob directly or to the nation carrying his name. Today, we automatically think of the State of Israel without thinking about Jacob who is Israel. Actually, Christians are the nation of Israel since the coming of Jesus Christ. Through the twelve tribes of Jacob/Israel came Jesus, who is from the tribe of Judah. He was different from all of His other brothers/tribes because He was the Son of God and Messiah who atoned for sin. He fulfilled the New Covenant promise made to Abraham, which is that whoever believes in Him; Jew, Samaritan or Gentile, would become a child of God. Those who receive Jesus Christ are the descendants of Abraham.

The last days meaning of Joseph is symbolic of Jesus Christ in today’s times, and the last days meanings of the twelve sons of Jacob/Israel are described in Genesis 49Click here for a post on the last days meanings of the Twelve Tribes. “And Jacob called his sons and said, “Gather together, that I may tell you what shall befall you in the last days:” Genesis 49:1 Below is the last days meaning of the name of Joseph, who symbolizes Jesus Christ. It is possible to put the name of Jesus in place of the name of Joseph because that is an example of the “scarlet cord” throughout the Bible.

Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; his branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel),

By the God of your father who will help you, and by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. They shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers.

Genesis 49:22-26

Jesus Christ is wearied and thirsts for sinners to save in today’s world. “Now Jacob’s well was there. Jesus therefore, being wearied from His journey, sat thus by the well. It was about the sixth hour. A woman of Samaria came to draw water. Jesus said to her, “Give Me a drink.” For His disciples had gone away into the city to buy food.” John 4:6-8

Jesus will always be sitting by the well of the Water of Life, ready and willing to fill the human spirit with the Spirit of life. Just before Jesus Christ died on the Cross, He said, “I thirst,” and the whole purpose for His dying on the Cross is because of His thirst to save souls. His death and resurrection would allow us to drink of the Living Waters of the Holy Spirit to live a life of spiritual cleanliness. The only thing this world offers to quench His thirst is “sour wine” as some type of placebo in the process of killing Christianity. John 19:28-30.

It’s no coincidence that the weary and thirsty Jesus met the Samaritan woman who was an unclean sinner. They met at Jacob’s/Israel’s well, which puts everything into perspective. It is through Jacob’s sons that the promise God made to Abraham is fulfilled. That promise was to make Abraham’s descendants as many as the grain of sand on the seashore. Since the Jewish nation rejected Jesus as their Messiah, the alternative to fulfilling the promise was to bring the Gospel of Christ to the unclean sinners of the Gentiles, you and me and all non-Jews.

All of the disciples of Jesus were Jewish, and they left Jesus to go into the city to buy food. That is when the encounter happened between Jesus and the sinner woman. Jesus intended to quench His thirst for souls by offering the Water of Life to an unclean sinner, which was a departure from the Jewish teachings. It was against the Jewish law for Jews to associate with Samaritans, and Jesus was a Jew from the Tribe of Judah. The water of Jacob’s well represents the Water of Life offered to every unclean sinner to add us to the family of God by the remission of sin through the Lord Jesus Christ.

Today, Jesus Christ is weary and thirsts for unclean sinners to save. He is weary and thirsty because the Gospel of Christ is no longer in the churches, no longer in government law-making, no longer in the educational system, and no longer has a presence in any sector of society. The agenda of the global government of the beast (the goals of the United Nations) dominates every country around the world. God is blasphemed, the need for Jesus Christ is discarded, the Holy Spirit is trampled on, and the life of Holiness is despised. The global culture exalts itself above all religion and politics so that it sits as God in the temple of God, our body, as if it were God. Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.

Jesus is weary and thirsts for souls because the temple of God, our body, has become possessed by a thing which forms what we think, feel, say and do. It enables the image of the beast to speak and live through a person and by what people say and do, they put a heavy lid over the well of the Water of Life. That is the global culture people are conformed to as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

The world follows after the beast and has no intention of nourishing the Spirit of Christ and quenching His thirst for souls to save, “All who dwell on the earth will worship it, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8

Conflict with others makes it hard to quench the thirst Christ has for souls. “Then the woman of Samaria said to Him, “How is it that You, being a Jew, ask a drink from me, a Samaritan woman?” For Jews have no dealings with Samaritans.” John 4:9

Jews and the Samaritans were like cats and dogs with each other, even though they shared the same heritage. Samaritans were actually descendants of the Jewish people, but sometime in the heritage of the Israelites there arose infighting. As a result, the Samaritans were cut off and deemed to be unclean and lowered to the same level as a Gentile. That plagued the Samaritans even in the day of Jesus as the Pharisees carried on the tradition of ex-communicating the Samaritans. Jesus Christ came to change that by actually asking for something from an unclean sinner.

As unclean sinners, there is something that Jesus Christ asks of us, but why would the Son of God, the Messiah of humanity, have a need to ask anything of us? Because Jesus Christ thirsts for the Salvation of souls, and He asks us to quench His thirst by coming to Him for the remission of sin.

Conflict between others is what hardens the human spirit against receiving the Spirit of Jesus Christ. As a person becomes hardened, cold, and bickers with each other then it makes people less receptive to the Holy Spirit and more receptive to the thing which forms what we think, feel, and do. Some people blasphemously say it is “iron sharpening iron” but all it does is enable the image of the beast to speak and live through a person. Habitual and normalized abrasions with one another is against God, against Jesus Christ, and against the Holy Spirit.

The Lord Jesus gives the Living Water to whoever desires to drink. “Jesus answered and said to her, “If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who says to you, ‘Give Me a drink,’ you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water.” John 4:10

The gift of God comes in the form of the remission of sin, the infilling of the Holy Spirit, and eternal life. Jesus Christ asks each of us to give Him a drink to quench His thirst for the Salvation of unclean sinners. He thirsts to forgive our sin, He thirsts to fill us with the Holy Spirit, and He thirsts to give us eternal life. His thirst is quenched when we ask Him to give us the Water of Life. When we realize who Jesus is, that He is the Son of God sent to make atonement for sin, then we would ask Him to give us the Water of Life. The Spirit of Christ is the Water of Life which nourishes the human spirit.

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Jesus Christ came to the Jewish nation exclusively, but He needed to go through Samaria, a place despised by the Jewish people and considered to be unclean. He brought Salvation to an unclean Samaritan woman and His Gospel spread throughout Samaria through her. Jesus never excludes anyone from drinking from His Water of Life. God gives the gift of redemption and eternal life to whoever desires His Son Jesus Christ.

And the Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let him who hears say, “Come!” And let him who thirsts come. Whoever desires, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelation 2:17

Jesus Christ has access to the Living Waters of the Holy Spirit. “The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” John 4:11-12

Regardless of what the Jewish people thought about the Samaritans, the Samaritan woman kept the Jewish heritage and continued to call Jacob her father. The Samaritan woman only needed to know that the Living Water is not something that can be drawn by using worldly utensils. Only by the remission of sin through Jesus Christ can we drink of the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ gets the Living Water from the Spirit of God, and by the remission of sin the Living Water of the Holy Spirit is freely given to us. Jesus Christ is indeed greater than Jacob, Isaac, and even Abraham because He is the only Son of God. He is the Lamb of God sent to make atonement for sin. While Jesus is greater than Abraham, at the same time He was sent by God to fulfill the promise He made to Abraham. That promise is the expansion of the family of God through Jesus Christ.

Before the Lord Jesus Christ, there was no way to access the Living Water and it is a deep well. There was a curtain hung up within us which separated the human spirit from the Spirit of God, and no one could pass through that curtain. As soon as Jesus breathed His last breath on the Cross, His sacrifice for the atonement for sin was complete and the curtain was torn from top to bottom,

And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice, and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth quaked, and the rocks were split, and the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many.

Matthew 27:50-53

We are the temple of God, and the veil has been torn in two so that we now have access to fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit. The access to the Spirit of God is the Water of Life which flows when we come to the Lord Jesus for the remission of sin.

The governing system of today wants to put a seal over the well to prevent people from drinking the Water of Life. They want the temple of God, our body, to be governed by the thing which forms what we think, feel, and do. It enables the image of the beast to speak and live through people while blaspheming God, discarding the need for Jesus Christ, and trampling on the Holy Spirit. As it lives and speaks through people, they are conformed to their place in life, their mark in life. They are groomed to the mark of the beast and will never be able to access the Living Waters of Holiness within the Spirit of Christ.

The Water of Life is more than the humanistic water of this world. “Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13-14

Drinking water is to provide the body with life, and as important as what that is, it is not the Water of Life which Jesus Christ offers to us. The Water He offers to us is the Holy Spirit which flows like a fountain within us. We are the temple of the Holy Spirit when our sin is put in remission by living for the Lord Jesus. The Holy Spirit is the guarantee, or down payment, of eternal life waiting for us beyond the grave.

We live in a world which serves the creature human being instead of the Creator God. The needs of the human being is more important to them then receiving the Holy Spirit through Jesus Christ. The “democratic” society embraces humanism rooted in the thing which forms what people feel, think, says and does. This is how humanism is described, “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.

Today’s brand of humanism requires the image of the beast to live and speak through people which is enabled by the thing which forms what people think, feel, says and does. Their intent is to erect a dam to prohibit the Water of Life from nourishing the soul. They know the value of natural water to nourish the creature human being but discard the need for the Water of Life which nourishes the soul. People in every city around the world are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

We can assess that whoever drinks natural water will thirst again but whoever drinks of the spiritual waters will never thirst again. The diagnosis is that natural water does nothing to nourish the life of the soul. The plan is to reconcile to God through Jesus Christ by the remission of sin so that the spiritual waters of the Holy Spirit flows within us, who brings eternal life. The success of the plan is seen as we live for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the spirit of Holiness.

We should desire the Water of Life which Jesus gives. “The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.” John 4:15

The greatest request any human being can make is to be given the Water of eternal life, to quench the thirsting of the soul. Simply believe in the heart that God raised Jesus from the dead after three days and confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Belief in the resurrection keeps our focus on eternal life and removes the belief that we can make this world a better place without Jesus Christ. We focus on the Creator God instead of exalting the creature human being. By calling Jesus Christ our Lord, it removes making anything else the center of our life. By calling Jesus Christ our Lord, we do not welcome the thing that considers itself to be lord over us which has power over physiology to form thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. It enables the image of the beast t olive and speak through people and by what they do and say they make it lord over their life. They are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.

Like the woman at the well I was seeking
For things that could not satisfy;
And then I heard my Savior speaking:
“Draw from my well that never shall run dry”.

Fill my cup Lord, I lift it up, Lord!
Come and quench this thirsting of my soul;
Bread of heaven, Feed me till I want no more
Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole!

There are millions in this world who are craving
The pleasures earthly things afford;
But none can match the wondrous treasure
That I find in Jesus Christ my Lord.

Church Hymn

We can assess that we need to ask for the eternal Waters of Life. The diagnosis is that without the spiritual water of the Holy Spirit we remain without a way to nourish the human spirit. We plan to come to God through Jesus Christ for the remission of sin so that we can drink of the water which causes our spirit to grow in the Spirit of Christ. We put that plan into practice by believing in our heart that Jesus Christ is risen from the dead and confessing with our mouth that He is Lord. We know the plan is successful as we live our life for the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Sin leaves us without a marriage to the Spirit of Christ. “Jesus said to her, “Go, call your husband, and come here. The woman answered and said, “I have no husband. Jesus said to her, “You have well said, ‘I have no husband,’ for you have had five husbands, and the one whom you now have is not your husband; in that you spoke truly.” John 4:16-18

When Jesus asked the woman to bring her husband to Him, He already knew she was “divorced” five times and living with a man out of wedlock. The Samaritan woman knew the Jewish laws, and knew Jesus was Jewish, so she tried to tell a “half-truth” to bypass the humiliation of living deeply in sin. Jesus focused on the fact that the woman had no husband.

Today, Jesus wants to draw our attention to the fact that we have no spouse while living in sin. The thing which forms what we think, feel, say and do is not married to us in a partnership because it completely discards the human spirit. It strictly demands that we do and speak according to what it gives us to do and speak as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. People everywhere are conformed to the anti-Christian and non-spiritual global culture. They are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

The thing which leaves us without a spiritual spouse hardens the human spirit against marrying the Spirit of Christ. Even though it has a form of Godliness, it thrives on sin by blaspheming God, discarding the need for the remission of sin through Jesus, and tramples on the Holy Spirit. Sexual immorality plagues the world with rampant casual sex, rampant influx of the LGBQT+ lifestyle, unfaithfulness in carnal marriages, the promotion of the killing of the unborn, etc.

Today, people do not acknowledge the sin of being under the control of the thing which forms what they think, feel, say and do, but are quietly taught to live by its direction. Revelation 2:24-25 calls it Satan’s deep secrets, “…to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’” The world follows it except for those whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

As humans, we want to hide the embarrassing and sinful things about ourselves, and it can be very hard to admit that we are sinners. Today the focus is so heavy on human dignity and self-esteem that no one feels a need to admit they are sinners. However, Jesus knows our heart and sees the dark secrets and stain of sin on every soul.

I was sinking deep in sin
Far from a peaceful shore
Very deeply stained within
Sinking to rise no more;
But the Master of the sea
Heard my despairing cry
From the waters lifted me
Now safe am I
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me

All my heart to Him I give
Ever to Him I’ll cling
In His blessed prescence live
Ever His praises sing;
Love so mighty and so true
Merits my soul’s best songs;
Faithful loving service, too
To Him belongs
Love lifted me! Love lifted me!
When nothing else could help
Love lifted me

Church Hymn

We can assess that we want to “keep a lid” on the humiliating and embarrassing sin in our life. The diagnosis is that unless we come clean through Jesus Christ then we will never be able to fill the cup of our soul with the Holy Spirit. The plan is to reconcile to God by confessing our sin to Jesus Christ, and only to Jesus Christ, who is trusted to forgive us of our sin. “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:8-9 We implement the plan by acknowledging that we are sinners, by accepting what Jesus Christ did for us on the Cross to atone for sin and acknowledging the existence of God as our creator. We know the success of the plan as we live in the mercy and grace of God as sinners living for Jesus Christ in the spirit of Holiness.

Worship of God is not a place, temple, or church established on earth. “The woman said to Him, “Sir, I perceive that You are a prophet. Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, and you Jews say that in Jerusalem is the place where one ought to worship. Jesus said to her, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.” John 4:19-21

What the Samaritan woman describes is exactly what is happening in Jeruslaem today. The Temple Mount is in Jerusalem, but Jerusalem is divided between East and West Jerusalem. The Israelis call the temple the Temple Mount, but the Palestinians call the very same place the Aqsa Mosque. There is so much conflict and violence centered around the Temple Mount that it is impossible to look at it as a place of worship. In fact, there has been police/military raids and bloodshed in the temple itself against those who are not wanted inside the temple. The words of Jesus certainly are prophetic when He said, “Woman, believe Me, the hour is coming when you will neither on this mountain, nor in Jerusalem, worship the Father.

Since Jesus Christ died for the atonement of sin and was resurrected from the dead, the place of worship is no longer a place made with human hands. It is not the Temple Mount/Aqsa Mosque, it is not the churches of today, and it is no other building made with human hands. The temple of God is our body, “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?” 1 Corinthians 3:16 Obviously, the day that Jesus said would come is already here, there is no place on earth in which to worship God, worship is from within our soul.

While living for Jesus Christ makes us the temple of the Holy Spirit, the thing which forms what people, think, feel, and do is possessing the temple, our body, as its own, “…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:4 It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and extinguishes the worship of God by blaspheming Him, discarding the need for Jesus Christ, and trampling on the Holy Spirit.

We can assess that there is no place on this earth where we can worship our creator God. The diagnosis is that without acknowledging Jesus Christ as the Son of God, worship of God does not exist. The plan is to worship God through Jesus Christ within our body, which is the temple of the Holy Spirit. We put that plan into practice by welcoming Jesus Christ to live in our mind, heart, and spirit by the remission of sin. The success of that plan is realized when we worship God in spirit and no longer look for a physical place of worship.

Those who honestly serve God serve Him in Spirit and truth. “You worship what you do not know; we know what we worship, for salvation is of the Jews. But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.” John 4:22-23

As followers of Jesus Christ, we are those who serve God in Spirit and truth. The hour of worshipping God in spirit and truth came when Jesus Christ came to atone for sin.

Jesus is speaking as a Jew and as the Son of God when He said the Samaritan woman/Gentile had no idea what is worshipped. Jesus then talks about Salvation coming from the Jews, then talks about the day when true worshippers will serve God in Spirit and truth. Salvation does come from the Jews because the Lord Jesus Christ is a Jew from the tribe of Judah and His family tree goes all the way back to Adam. However, Jesus brought the New Covenant which changed the monopoly which the Jewish people had on God and the Holy scriptures. True worshippers are no longer exclusively Jewish but are those who worship God in Spirit and truth. “Therefore know that only those who are of faith are sons of Abraham.” Galatians 3:7 “Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are children of promise.” Galatians 4:28 That is good news for the Samaritan woman, every unclean Gentile, and every non-Jew, which includes you and me.

Today, people are serving something, and they have no idea what they are giving their life to. It has power over physiology and is able to form what they think, feel, say and do, as it lives and speaks through them. It makes them feel intelligent, empowered, righteous, socially acceptable, and emotionally pleasant. The Bible refers to it as the image of the beast which relates to the mark of the beast which is of Satan. The thing which forms thoughts, emotions, words, and behaviors is what enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. It considers itself to be bringing salvation to the world as it talks about peace, harmony, human dignity, democratic principles, etc. in the process of establishing the agenda of the global government of the beast. The Bible refers to it as the object of God’s judgment and is heading towards severe global tribulation. People in every city around the world are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what theyb say and do.

Salvation comes by believing in Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit by the remission of sin. True worshippers are those who worship God in Spirit and the Gospel truth. We want our human spirit to bond with the Holy Spirit. The thing which forms what people think, feel, say and do has thrown the spirit and truth to the ground because it says and does anything to harden the human spirit against the Spirit of Christ. They will never speak the truth relating to the Spirit. Their only goal is to sit in the temple of God, our body, as if it was God and it does that by forming what people think, feel, say and do. If it told spiritual truth, it would not have a place within the soul. God is looking for people who worship Him in Spirit and truth, and those are the people who come to the Lord Jesus for the remission of sin and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.

We can assess that followers of Jesus Christ know the God we worship. Those who serve the thing forming what they think, feel, do, and say do not know they are serving the image of the beast grooming them to the mark of the beast. The diagnosis is that worship of God is through the spirit, which is discarded by the thing which has power over physiology to form thoughts and feelings. The plan is to worship God in spirit through Jesus Christ by not being overcome by a focus on carnal, earthly, and materialistic concerns. We know the plan is successful as we become rich in spirit and the things of this world becomes dimmer and dimmer.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
  In the light of His glory and grace.
(Church Hymn)

We worship God in spirit because He is Spirit. “God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” John 4:24

The only way to have fellowship with God is through the spirit, and the only way to access the Holy Spirit is through Jesus Christ. By the remission of sin, we receive the infilling of the Holy Spirit and the atonement for sin comes by living for the Lord Jesus. That is how Jesus reconciles us to God.

Today’s “democratic” society does not want the human spirit to fellowship with God. They want us to serve the thing which forms what we think, feel, say and do because they derive their power and authority through the masses who allow it to live and speak through them. People in every city around the world are allowing the image of the beast to live and speak through them and that is the source of empowerment for the global government of the beast. The masses are conformed to the global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. They detest the human spirit fellowshipping with the Spirit of Christ as they blaspheme God, discard the need for Jesus, and trample on the Holy Spirit.

Jesus has this to say about our Helper the Holy Spirit,

If you love Me, keep My commandments.
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever—
the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him;
but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.
John 14:15-18

Sweet Holy Spirit, Sweet heavenly Dove,
Stay right here with us, filling us with Your love.
And for these blessings we lift our hearts in praise;
Without a doubt we’ll know that we have been revived,
When we shall leave this place.

There are blessings you cannot receive
Till you know Him in His fullness and believe;
You’re the one to profit when you say,
“I am going to walk with Jesus all the way.

Church Hymn

We can assess that the only way to serve God is in the spirit because God is Spirit. We can assess that trying to serve God through tangible ways or physiological pleasures and comforts is harmful to the spirit and separates us from the Spirit of God. The plan is to be reconciled to the Spirit of God by living in spiritual cleanliness by the remission of sin through Jesus Christ. We implement the plan by being set apart from the values of the world and living a life dedicated to God in the Spirit of Christ. We live on the narrow way leading to eternal life while those of the world are on the mainstream road leading to destruction. We know the plan is successful when we focus on the treasures in Heaven through the Spirit, and we do not center our life around the things this world considers valuable.

Jesus is the Christ and He tells us all things. “The woman said to Him, “I know that Messiah is coming” (who is called Christ). “When He comes, He will tell us all things. Jesus said to her, “I who speak to you am He.” John 4:24-26

Even though the woman Jesus spoke to was a Samaritan and considered to be an unclean sinner on the same level as the Gentiles, she was still anticipating the coming of the Messiah. Then Jesus plainly told her that she doesn’t need to wait any longer, He said, “I who speak to you am He.” The Lord Jesus has told us all things concerning the Kingdom of Heaven and being reconciled to God through Him. Through Him all things have been revealed about Bible prophecy as the spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus, Revelation 19:10.

The Messiah has come, who is the Son of God named Jesus. He gave His life on the Cross to atone for sin, was raised to life after being dead for three days and has ascended into Heaven to live eternally with God His Father. He is coming back and has given us the Holy Spirit as our Helper through this life. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are unclean sinners saved by the grace and mercy of God through the Lord Jesus. No matter how much we are stigmatized in this world and although we know we are full of sinful shortcomings, we are still looking forward to the day when Jesus Christ comes back.

The thing which has power over physiology is able to enflame carnal feelings and desires within us. It wants to exalt its power over God and cancel the remission of sin we have through Jesus Christ. In that way, we feel unworthy to be called Christians and that could cause us to leave from following the way of Jesus. Even then, like the Samaritan woman, we look forward to the coming of the Lord Jesus and we hang on to the testimony of Jesus through it all.

No matter how unclean and sinful we are, we will never welcome and legitimize the thing which forms what we feel, do, say and think. In the eyes of God, our sins are forgiven and in the sea of forgetfulness. We will never willingly welcome the image of the beast to live and speak through us. It habitually blasphemes God, throws Jesus Christ under the bus, and tramples on the Holy Spirit. It detests the life of Holiness. The masses in every city around the world are conformed to the anti-Christian global culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.

The Samaritan woman witnessed Bible prophecy being fulfilled in front of her eyes by seeing the Son of God standing in front of her in the flesh. Today, we are also witnessing Bible prophecy being fulfilled in front of our very eyes,

  1. The thing which forms what people think, feel, and does is in the world today and it enables the image of the beast to speak and live through people. We are seeing its presence within the flesh of human beings. As it lives and speaks through people, they are conformed to their place in life, or mark in life. They are groomed to the mark of the beast. Revelation 13 draws a clear picture of its presence in the world today.
  2. The global government is here and was established through the United Nations immediately after WW2 as described in Daniel 8. It derives its power and authority on the masses around the world who welcome the thing which forms what they think, feel, say and does. That is why it is called the government of the beast. The formation of the global government is also described in Revelation 17.
  3. Global warming is also here and is described as a judgment of God in Revelation 16:8-9. It is progressing hand-in-hand with the progress of the global government. The intense global warming comes just before the power center of the beast blacks out and loses its power, as described in Revelation 16:10-11. After the global government loses its power, which is derived from the beast, the Battle of Armageddon takes place as described in Revelation 16:12-16. Jesus Christ comes back after that.

Through the Holy Bible, He reveals all things to us, most importantly He is the one whom God sent to make atonement for sin, as said in John 3:16

We can assess that Jesus the Christ has come to this world to atone for sin and He tells us all things. The diagnosis is that some people do not recognize Him as the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world and they do not believe what He tells us. We plan to accept what the Lord Jesus did for us on the Cross and to believe what He has told us in the Spirit and through His testimony. We implement that plan by being reconciled to God through Jesus Christ by the remission of sin and to believe what is told us through the word of God. We know the plan is successful when we accept our Salvation by faith and live for the gospel of Jesus Christ as sinners saved by grace, “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
