“It shall come to pass in the day the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from your fear and the hard bondage in which you were made to serve,” Isaiah 14:3
The day that the Lord gives us rest comes in the New Jerusalem when this present heaven and earth passes away. In Heaven, there is peace, joy, and freedom in Holiness. That is something this world does not offer as people in every city around the world are under the control of the thing which forms what they feel, think, do, and speak. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. By what they say and do, they want to keep the people of God and Jesus Christ under a burden of sorrow, intimidation, and in servitude to them. They are those who conform to the anti-Christian global culture and are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
“…that you will take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and say: “How the oppressor has ceased, the golden city ceased!” Isaiah 14:4
Babylon represents the global culture of the government of the beast (United Nations), and the king of Babylon is the one which governs by its power over physiology to rule over thoughts, words, feelings, and behaviors. As followers of Jesus Christ, we know it doesn’t end well for this present world. The global culture considers itself to be a golden city, but they are oppressors of the belief in God, oppressors of the Gospel of Christ, and oppressors of Holiness. The global government and its underlying power source will cease.
Global warming is already in this world and progressing hand-in-hand with the progress of the goals of the global government. Global warming is the Fourth Plague as seen in Revelation 16:8-9. Global warming is instrumental in bringing destruction to the power center of the beast, which happens in the Fifth Plague as seen in Revelation 16:10-11. That means the government of the beast and the whole global culture is rendered powerless. After the global government loses power, the Battle of Armageddon happens and is in the Sixth Plague as written in Revelation 16:12-16. Then comes the Day of the Lord and Jesus Christ returns.
“The Lord has broken the staff of the wicked, the scepter of the rulers;” Isaiah 14:5
Breaking the staff of the wicked and the scepter of the rulers is another way of saying the global culture of the beast becomes completely powerless, as described in the paragraph above. The Lord Jesus Christ broke the staff and scepter of Satan in another way as well when Jesus defeated sin and death on the Cross. As Christians, we prefer to make our body the home of the Holy Spirit, not the home of the anti-Christian thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak.
“He who struck the people in wrath with a continual stroke, He who ruled the nations in anger, is persecuted and no one hinders.” Isaiah 14:6
The one who persecutes God’s people and all of Christianity will become the persecuted. Persecution of the government of the beast comes through the events of the Seven Trumpets (Click for Trumpets 1-4, click for trumpets 5-6, click for the Seventh Trumpet) and by the events of the Seven Plagues. No one will be able to hinder the wrath of God coming against the global culture of the beast. As the Lord God promises, “…for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye.” Zachariah 2:8
“The whole earth is at rest and quiet; They break forth into singing. Indeed the cypress trees rejoice over you,
And the cedars of Lebanon, Saying, ‘Since you were cut down, No woodsman has come up against us.’” Isaiah 14:7-8
The destruction of this present world’s system means peace, rest, and quiet. It will be a day of rejoicing when the Lord Jesus Christ returns.
I heard a loud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying, “Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God!
For true and righteous are His judgments, because He has judged the great harlot who corrupted the earth with her fornication; and He has avenged on her the blood of His servants shed by her.”
Again they said, “Alleluia! Her smoke rises up forever and ever!” And the twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God who sat on the throne, saying, “Amen! Alleluia!” Then a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our God, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”
Revelation 19:1-5
Revelation 18 the great city of Babylon has fallen, rejoice.
….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
‘I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.’
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
