The first-time David spared Saul’s life is written about in 1 Samuel 24 and is very similar to the second time David spared Saul’s life, as written in the scriptures of this post.
- Relentless pursuit against Jesus Christ.
- Who will abide with Jesus Christ in this Christless world?
- God has given the Lord Jesus victory over sin and death, it’s not a physical fight.
- This world does not have the Water of Life nor a defense against lawlessness.
- Jesus calls the world to see their vulnerability and His life-giving mercy.
- The voice of the Spirit of Christ is recognized, and sinful humanity drives Christianity out.
- This world seeks reconciliation through human dignity and respect, not through Jesus Christ.
- Jesus wants the children to come to Him, He rewards faithfulness, and values us much.
- Churchy and humanitarian sounding words are used while conspiring against Christianity.
Relentless pursuit against Jesus Christ. “Now the Ziphites came to Saul at Gibeah, saying, “Is David not hiding in the hill of Hachilah, opposite Jeshimon?” 26:1 Saul and his people were relentless in pursuing David to kill him. In 1 Samuel 24:1b. Saul’s men said about the identical thing, “Take note! David is in the Wilderness of En Gedi.” When Jesus Christ was on this earth, the governing authorities, Jewish and Roman, were keeping a close watch on Him, and there was a conspiracy to kill Jesus.
Today’s world is relentless in scouring the influence of the Gospel of Jesus Christ from this planet. The world is under the influence of the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak and they are all on the “same sheet of music” in every city around the world. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them as they despise Jesus Christ, deny God, and blaspheme the Holy Spirit. They are conformed to their place in life by what they say and do, they are conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
“Then Saul arose and went down to the Wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the Wilderness of Ziph.” 1 Samuel 26:2
Like Saul rallying the masses against David, the masses within the “democratic” society are in every city around the world and are rallied against Christianity. Also, in 1 Samuel 24:2, Saul did the same thing, “Then Saul took three thousand chosen men from all Israel, and went to seek David and his men on the Rocks of the Wild Goats.” Saul had an obsession to get rid of David. Likewise, this world is like a high-speed train on a track of only one purpose, to runover anyone who stands in the way of the global goals of the government of the beast. Christians are in their way because we devote our body to the Holy Spirit through Jesus, not to the thing which forms thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. While we want to be the temple of the Holy Spirit, it wants to sit in the temple of God (our body) as if it were God.
“And Saul encamped in the hill of Hachilah, which is opposite Jeshimon, by the road. But David stayed in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.” 1 Samuel 26:3
Like Saul setting up ambushes against David, Jesus Christ was always subject to one form of ambush or another from the Pharisees and the Jewish leaders. They tried to ambush Jesus in what He said or did, and finally used false witnesses to have Him crucified and put to death.
Saul was always looking to ambush David, in the same way that those of this world has ambushed the churches and every other Christian engine. By their overwhelming numbers, they dominate the churches, dominate the influence of government lawmaking, dominate the educational system, and ambush Christianity in every sector of society. Even so, Jesus Christ sees, and all of this is written about in Bible prophecy, so that we can see and be aware also. The establishment of the global government of the beast (Unted Nations) is revealed in Daniel 8 and Revelation 17. The intensity of global warming is the fourth plague as quoted in Revelation 16:8-9. The image and mark of the beast is described in Revelation 13.
“David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul had indeed come.” 1 Samuel 26:4
Everybody in the world knows about the thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak because they are required to be receptive to it. For some reason, they seem to think it is a secret, which reveals they are living by Satan’s deep secrets, “Now I say to the rest of you in Thyatira, to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets, ‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’” Revelation 2:24-25 As followers of Jesus Christ, we know the government of the beast has indeed come because the thing forming thoughts, feelings, and words is enabling the image of the beast to live and speak through people. Its arrival is no secret, and we see how it conspires against Christianity.
Who will abide with Jesus Christ in this Christless world? “So David arose and came to the place where Saul had encamped. And David saw the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the commander of his army. Now Saul lay within the camp, with the people encamped all around him.” 1 Samuel 26:5
David came to the camp of Saul and of all those who were hunting him down to kill him. The many people of Saul were embedded all around him. Likewise, Jesus Christ has come to this world where the multitudes have it in them to put an end to Christianity. The multitudes are encamped around their leader which forms what they say, think, do, and speak. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through the multitudes in every city around the world. They are conformed to their place in life by what they say and do as they form a protective circle around their leader. They are conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
Revelation 13:8
The “him” in the verse above is not a person, it is the beast behind the tool which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak. It denies God, rejects Jesus Christ, and blasphemes the Holy Spirit, which describes the people of today encamped in every city around the world.
“Then David answered, and said to Ahimelech the Hittite and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother of Joab, saying, “Who will go down with me to Saul in the camp?” And Abishai said, “I will go down with you.” 1 Samuel 26:6
When David decided to go down to Saul’s camp, he knew exactly what was awaiting him, hostility and those seeking his death. David asked the question of his men, “Who will go down with me…? Today, Jesus Christ poses that question to the whosoever of this world, who will abide with Him in this Christless world? The people of this world are encamped in their life with the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. They despise the teachings of the Lord Jesus and intend to rid this world of Christianity. The answer we must give to the Lord Jesus is, “I will go down with you.”
Give me grace to be a servant
Give me mercy for the lost
Give me passion for Your glory
Give me passion for the Cross
And I will go where there are no easy roads
Leave the comforts that I know
I will go and let this journey be my home
I will go
I will go
I will go Lord where Your glory is unknown
I will live for You alone
I will go because my life is not my own
I will go
I will go
I will go
(Church hymn)
God has given the Lord Jesus victory over sin and death, it’s not a physical fight. “So David and Abishai came to the people by night; and there Saul lay sleeping within the camp, with his spear stuck in the ground by his head. And Abner and the people lay all around him.” 1 Samuel 26:7
Jesus Christ has come to this world in a dark hour and found it asleep to God and not using the spear of the Spirit to fight against sin. Today, the world is in a deep slumber as it welcomes the thing which gives them what to think, feel, do, and speak. They try to use the spear by their head of human rationale to fight against sin instead of using the spear of the Spirit found at the Cross of Jesus Christ. The masses of the “democratic” society despises Jesus Christ and intends to kill Christianity.
“Then Abishai said to David, “God has delivered your enemy into your hand this day. Now therefore, please, let me strike him once with the spear, right to the earth; and I will not have to strike him a second time!” 1 Samuel 26:8 As followers of Jesus Christ, we always keep it in our heart that this present world’s government has already been defeated, and the enemy has been delivered into the hands of Jesus Christ. The first time David’s men found Saul in a vulnerable position, they said about the same thing as the second time, “Then the men of David said to him, “This is the day of which the Lord said to you, ‘Behold, I will deliver your enemy into your hand, that you may do to him as it seems good to you.’” 1 Samuel 24:4a. David’s men always knew in their heart that the victory would belong to David, not Saul.
We know by the Spirit and word of God that Jesus Christ has already won the victory over sin and death. We are born-again and made alive to God because of that victory of the Lord Jesus. The enemy has been delivered into the hands of Jeus and He is coming back as Lord of lords.
The Bible reveals to us what we are already seeing in the world today, about the global government of the beast (Daniel 8 and Revelation 17), global warming as the fourth plague (Revelation 16:8-9), and the image and mark of the beast (Revelation 13). It is revealed to us to let us know that God sees, He is in control of the final destiny, and He has the final victory.
As followers of the Lord Jesus, I’m sure we have felt indignation when we are persistently “gaslighted,” put through hardships, and afflicted in various ways. It gets to the point to where inwardly we might be saying, “let me strike the enemies of Christ with the worldly spear.” Meaning to give them an aggressive piece of our mind or something even physically worse. Even so, their tactics are designed to spark such agitation and aggressive responses as their intent is to kill the Spirit of Christ, and all of Christianity.
“But David said to Abishai, “Do not destroy him; for who can stretch out his hand against the Lord’s anointed, and be guiltless?” 1 Samuel 26:9 The last thing Jesus Christ wants is for His followers to come against the governing authorities with aggression, rebellion, retaliation, and armed force. What Jesus wants from us is to realize we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against spiritual wickedness.
Through Ephesians 6:10-20, the Holy Spirit explains to us not to engage in flesh and blood conflict, we are in a spiritual fight for the soul. The thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak is spiritual wickedness. It comprises principalities (like a dictator), it lives through various forms of power, it is the government of the darkness of this age, and people in every city around the world are a host to its spiritual wickedness. Jesus Christ wants us to put on the whole armor of God in response. That armor includes the truth of Jesus Christ, righteousness, peace, faith in God, the assurance of our Salvation, and the word of God. And to pray always within the Spirit. The armor keeps us set apart from the flesh and blood ways of this world.
“David said furthermore, “As the Lord lives, the Lord shall strike him, or his day shall come to die, or he shall go out to battle and perish.” 1 Samuel 26:10 As we put on the armor of God, Jesus Christ assures us that this present world system will have its end. Their day to die will come, not only in this life but beyond the grave where they will eternally be in hell. David repeated those same sentiments the first time he could have killed Saul, “And he said to his men, “The Lord forbid that I should do this thing to my master, the Lord’s anointed, to stretch out my hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the Lord.” 1 Samuel 24:6 As followers of Jesus Christ, His Spirit lives in us and we are always in the frame of mind not to raise a physical hand against the governing authorities.
This world does not have the Water of Life nor a defense against lawlessness. “The Lord forbid that I should stretch out my hand against the Lord’s anointed. But please, take now the spear and the jug of water that are by his head, and let us go.” 1 Samuel 26:11
David would not lift a finger to harm Saul, but he did take the spear and jug of water. Likewise, Jesus Christ does not want any of His followers to engage in aggression towards the governing authority. However, the Lord Jesus has taken the Water of Life from this present world’s government and has taken away its spear to fight against sin. By denying God, rejecting Jesus Christ, and trampling on the Holy Spirit, humanity is left defenseless to spiritual wickedness. Without the Water of Life to quench the thirst of the spirit, and without any way to defend against sin, lawlessness progressively increases in this world. As quoted below, when “He,” the Holy Spirit, is taken out of the way then lawlessness is unleashed,
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-8
“So David took the spear and the jug of water by Saul’s head, and they got away; and no man saw or knew it or awoke. For they were all asleep, because a deep sleep from the Lord had fallen on them.” 1 Samuel 26:12
Today’s world doesn’t even miss the Water of Life nor the spear to fight against sin. They disregard the idea of sin and don’t have a clue what it means to fight against spiritual wickedness. They do not drink from the spiritual waters, so they have no idea that the Water of life is absent. They are all in a deep sleep of spiritual slumber. In other words, the Gospel of Christ means nothing to them and they don’t even miss the word of God.
Instead of depending on the Water of Life and spear to fight against lawlessness, the population of this world depends on something that is not spiritual at all. It is artificial in comparison to the Spirit. They depend on the thing which gives them what to do, feel, think, and speak. It denies God, discards the need for Jesus, and blasphemes the Holy Spirit as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. As it lives and speaks through people, they make it clear that they have no regard for the Spirit nor to fight against sin. They love the darkness more than light and are in a state of deep spiritual sleep. By what they say and do, they are conformed to their place in life. They are conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
In Samuel 24:4, David did a similar thing as when he took Saul’s jug of water and spear, David cut off a piece of Saul’s robe, “And David arose and secretly cut off a corner of Saul’s robe.”
In a sense, the cutting off of Saul’s robe and showing it to him is like the prophecy of the Bible being shown to this present world. It’s a show of their vulnerability and God’s mercy. God does not want anyone to perish but sent His Son Jesus so that whoever believes in Him will have eternal life. The prophecy of the Bible is there for all to see, and the Water of Life is missing from this world, and they have no spear to fight against spiritual wickedness. They are indeed in a bad way as lawlessness progresses forward and the global tribulation lies ahead. The government of the global agenda of the beast, under the United Nations, is in a deep sleep as they dream of global unity and peace.
Just a couple of the Bible prophecies, which all the world sees today are as follows; The prophecy of global warming is being fulfilled, Revelation 16:8-9. The prophecy of the global government of the beast (United Nations) is being fulfilled, Daniel 8 and also Revelation 17. The prophecy of the image and mark of the beast is being fulfilled, Revelation 13. The thing which forms what a person thinks, feels, does, and speaks enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. By what they say and do they are being groomed to the mark of the beast, to their place in life.
Jesus calls the world to see their vulnerability and His life-giving mercy. “Now David went over to the other side and stood on the top of a hill afar off, a great distance being between them.” 1 Samuel 26:13 There is a great gap between Jesus Christ and those who despise Him. Even then, the Lord Jesus came to atone for the sin of each and every one of them. As followers of Jesus, we are to maintain that gap between the ways of the world while lifting up His name. There is a great distance between the broad way of mainstream society which leads to destruction, and the narrow way of the faithful few which leads to life. The Cross of Christ is on a hill far away, lifted up for all to see,
On a hill far away, stood an old rugged Cross
The emblem of suff’ring and shame
And I love that old Cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain
Oh, that old rugged Cross so despised by the world
Has a wondrous attraction for me
For the dear Lamb of God, left His Glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary
(Church hymn)
The first time David spared Saul’s life and called out to him, David and his men were hiding in a cave, “David also arose afterward, went out of the cave, and called out to Saul, saying, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed down.” 1 Samuel 24:8 As followers of Jesus Christ, whether we are in a “cave” amidst the “democratic” society, as well as being a great distance from them, we call attention to the Gospel of the Lord Jesus. We take up the old, rugged Cross.
The reason there is a huge distance between Christians and the “democratic” society is obvious. They deny God, reject the need for the remission of sin through Jesus, and blaspheme the Holy Spirit. We believe God, accept our need for Christ Jesus, and welcome the Holy Spirit. They allow the image of the beast to live and speak through them by the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. We desire the image of Christ to live and speak through us by the Holy Spirit. They are conformed to their worldly place in life by what they say and do. They are conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. We are conformed to our place in Heaven by the seal of the Holy Spirit.
“And David called out to the people and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, “Do you not answer, Abner?” Then Abner answered and said, “Who are you, calling out to the king?” 1 Samuel 26:14 Jesus Christ asks a question of this world, “Do you not answer?” Why are the masses not answering the call of Jesus Christ? Like Abner, they feel that Christians have no right to call them to reconcile to God through Jesus Christ. As they serve their worldly king, they reply, “Who are you, calling out to the king?” As we call out to this world in the name of Jesus, we are humble and respectful of their authority, Like David was the first time he spared Saul, “David also arose afterward, went out of the cave, and called out to Saul, saying, “My lord the king!” And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed down.” 1 Samuel 24:8
“So David said to Abner, “Are you not a man? And who is like you in Israel? Why then have you not guarded your lord the king? For one of the people came in to destroy your lord the king.” 1 Samuel 26:15 There is no way the masses of people in this world can guard their global culture whose king is the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. They feel they are superior and boasts, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with it?” However, Jesus Christ has come to destroy sin and death, and the global government is being destroyed day by day.
As stated in 1 Samuel 24:9-10, Jesus Christ has not come to destroy but to save lives. Christians will not lift a finger to harm anyone in this world, this world is destroyed by their denial of God, rejection of Jesus, and blaspheme of the Holy Spirit, “And David said to Saul: “Why do you listen to the words of men who say, ‘Indeed David seeks your harm’? Look, this day your eyes have seen that the Lord delivered you today into my hand in the cave, and someone urged me to kill you. But my eye spared you, and I said, ‘I will not stretch out my hand against my lord, for he is the Lord’s anointed.’” Christianity is portrayed as “right wing” extremists and an enemy to the “democratic” global culture.
“This thing that you have done is not good. As the Lord lives, you deserve to die, because you have not guarded your master, the Lord’s anointed. And now see where the king’s spear is, and the jug of water that was by his head.” 1 Samuel 26:16 Those living for their king, which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak, are not doing a good thing. There is no way they can protect their king, and the sentence of death is in them in this world, and in the life beyond the grave. Jesus Christ has the jug of the Water of Life and the spear this world needs to fight against lawlessness and spiritual wickedness. Without the Holy Spirit, lawlessness is unleashed, which only the Lord Jesus can destroy with the brightness of His coming.
Judgment belongs to the Lord Jesus and is not in the hands of His followers while on this earth. Our mission is to share the Gospel of Christ to prepare for the day we meet Jesus face to face. For Believers, the judgment will be for eternal life in the new heaven and earth, for unbelievers the judgment will be for eternal hell. That is what David referred to the first time he spared Saul’s life. “Let the Lord judge between you and me, and let the Lord avenge me on you. But my hand shall not be against you.” 1 Samuel 24:8-12
The voice of the Spirit of Christ is recognized, and sinful humanity drives Christianity out. “Then Saul knew David’s voice, and said, “Is that your voice, my son David?” David said, “It is my voice, my lord, O king.” 1 Samuel 26:17 Saul had an evil spirit, but David had the anointing of the Lord, but Saul could immediately recognize David’s voice. Likewise, those who live by the spirit of this world can recognize the voice of those living by the Spirit of Jesus Christ.
Those of this world recognize the voice of the Lord Jesus in us because we lift up the name of Jesus, embrace the Holy Spirit, and express our belief in God. That is very much different than the spirit of the masses in the “democratic” society who blaspheme the Holy Spirit, discard the need for Jesus Christ, and trample on the Holy Spirit. They live by the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak which gives them a completely different persona than those living for Jesus Christ. The thing they live by enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them which is very much different than the voice of the image of Christ living in a Christian. By what they say and do, those of this world are conformed to their place in life. They are conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
“And he said, “Why does my lord thus pursue his servant? For what have I done, or what evil is in my hand?” 1 Samuel 26:18
I know there are many people who realize they are being treated differently than those around them. It happens in the schools, in the workplace, and in every sector of society. People feel slighted, disparaged, excluded, left out, and socially menaced. It happens for no other reason than that the masses of the “democratic” society hears the voice of the Spirit of Christ in what a person says, does, or feels. People motivated by decency in the spirit are not wanted by the thing which forms what they think, feel, do, and speak. With David, the socially afflicted says, “For what have I done, or what evil is in my hand?”
“Now therefore, please, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant: If the Lord has stirred you up against me, let Him accept an offering. But if it is the children of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for they have driven me out this day from sharing in the inheritance of the Lord, saying, ‘Go, serve other gods.’” 1 Samuel 26:19
Those who are socially afflicted, such as we followers of Jesus Christ, know we are in a right relationship with others and with God through Jesus Christ. If the “democratic” society had something against us based on us trampling on the Holy Spirit and maliciously offending them, then that can be fixed. It is fixed by coming to the Cross of Jesus and asking forgiveness so that we can be realigned with the Spirit of Christ and realigned with a proper relationship with others.
If social and physical affliction comes through the “democratic” society, which allows the image of the beast to live through them by forming their thoughts, words, behaviors, and feelings, not much can be done to repair the relationship. They are cursed. They have driven out Jesus Christ, driven out the Gospel of Christ, driven out the hope of eternal life, and driven out Christianity. They want us to serve the god of this world.
“So now, do not let my blood fall to the earth before the face of the Lord. For the king of Israel has come out to seek a flea, as when one hunts a partridge in the mountains.” 1 Samuel 26:20
The “king of Israel” mentioned in the verse above is Saul, who had an evil spirit and was king over Israel. From since David was a boy, after he defeated the giant Goliath, Saul conspired to kill David. Also, as a boy, David was anointed the true king of Israel by God, while Saul was rejected by God. Saul and his sons died in battle and David was crowned king of Israel.
Today, it is the prayer of the followers of Christ that we are not murdered by the king of this world, that somehow, we could find an escape from the affliction. Even so, we hold to the testimony of Jesus as we see the shadow of death upon us. We must remain awake with the Spirit of Jesus. Jesus Himself prayed that His crucifixion and death on the Cross might pass from Him,
He went a little farther and fell on His face, and prayed, saying, “O My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as You will.”
Then He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “What! Could you not watch with Me one hour? Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Matthew 26:39-41
Compared to the thing which has power over physiology and can manipulate feelings, thoughts, words, and behaviors, we are nothing but a flea or a pheasant being hunted by hunters. The whole world follows it and so we are nothing more than a dead dog or a flea compared to their dominant numbers. In other words, what are the followers of Christ to them? We mean them no harm whatsoever. We have only one message to them, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
The first time David spared Saul’s life, David said a similar thing, and will always be the word of God, Jesus Christ and Christians are harmless to those of this world. “After whom has the king of Israel come out? Whom do you pursue? A dead dog? A flea?” 1 Samuel 24:4 Judgment of those in this world is not in the hands of Christians, but judgment is in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ. “Therefore let the Lord be judge, and judge between you and me, and see and plead my case, and deliver me out of your hand.” 1 Samuel 24:15
This world seeks reconciliation through human dignity and respect, not through Jesus Christ. “Then Saul said, “I have sinned. Return, my son David. For I will harm you no more, because my life was precious in your eyes this day. Indeed I have played the fool and erred exceedingly.” 1 Samuel 26:21
Saul admitted he sinned and said he was acting like a fool in trying to kill David, and he promised not to try to harm David anymore. However, he said those things only because David humbly (as a man of God) bowed to him, called him lord, and spared his life. David was always, always respectful to Saul as the governing authority. However, Saul’s pattern of behavior towards David was malicious since after David defeated the giant Goliath. Saul conspired to kill David as a boy until the day of Saul’s death. For fifteen years, Saul relentlessly came against David, and David persistently offered him mercy, grace, reverence, and life.
People will say nice things about Jesus Christ, and play the part of a repentant sinner, if it benefits them in some way. They want all the positive returns from the Spirit of Christ but do not want to live by the remission of sin and the sacrificial humbleness of the Holy Spirit. In fact, they even mock the return of Jesus Christ, like saying, “Go ahead and return, Jesus Christ, I won’t harm your Christians anymore!” Just like when Saul said, “Return, my son David. For I will harm you no more,” Even so, like Saul towards David, their only intentions towards Jesus Christ and Christianity as a whole are bad ones.
The first time David spared Saul’s life, Saul said about the exact same thing as he said this time, but never let up on his quest to kill David. This is what Saul said after the first time David spared his life, “Then he said to David: “You are more righteous than I; for you have rewarded me with good, whereas I have rewarded you with evil. And you have shown this day how you have dealt well with me; for when the Lord delivered me into your hand, you did not kill me. For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him get away safely? Therefore may the Lord reward you with good for what you have done to me this day. 1 Samuel 24:17-19
Saul’s behavior mirrors the behavior of those living for the “democratic” society of today. Their mode is to demand the attitude of human dignity, respect, and esteem so that they are honored as their own god. If a Christian honors them by humbly referring to them with an attitude that they are lord, then they will respond with nice words towards the Christian. However, as soon as the pleasant exchanges are finished, those who live for the “democratic” society continues their quest to stamp out Christianity. They are living by humanism which is the clothing worn by the thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak.
Humanism is, “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”
The thing which forms what people think, feel, do, and speak demands to be treated as lord, with respect, honor, and every type of reverence. It sits itself up as God, in the temple of God (our body) as if it were God. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and demands that those people who welcome it be honored as a god. Those who honor them as lord, which is really honoring it, are treated with kind words. Those who live by the thing forming their feelings, thoughts, and words are conformed to their place in life by what they say and do. They are conformed to their mark in life as they ae groomed to the mark of the beast. They delight in the social prestige given to them.
Jesus wants the children to come to Him, He rewards faithfulness, and values us much. “And David answered and said, “Here is the king’s spear. Let one of the young men come over and get it.” 1 Samuel 26:22
What David said to Saul about allowing the young men to come and get the spear reminds me of what Jesus said, “Then they brought little children to Him, that He might touch them; but the disciples rebuked those who brought them. But when Jesus saw it, He was greatly displeased and said to them, “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of God.” Matthew 10:13-14 Jesus wants the young children to come and get the spear, it is the spear which fights against sin, lawlessness, and rebellion against Jesus Christ.
In today’s world, Christian births are being extinguished as described in Revelation 12. The thing which has power over physiology has their tentacles wrapped around children from birth. The emotions and behaviors of infants are very uncanny, and it is obvious the thing which forms feelings, behaviors, words, and thoughts is already seizing control of the babies. Its influence is to deny the existence of God, discard the need for Jesus Christ, and to blaspheme the Holy Spirit. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people and it seizes the young people as its vessel early in life.
Jesus says to allow the children to come to Him, to allow them to come and get the spear of the Holy Spirit. Instead, children grow up being conformed to their place in life by what they say and do according to the thoughts, feelings, and words given to them. They are conformed to their mark in life as they are conformed to the mark of the beast. The future of Christian persecution intensifies with every new birth, and with every new birth there is less remaining of the Gospel of Christ.
“May the Lord repay every man for his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the Lord delivered you into my hand today, but I would not stretch out my hand against the Lord’s anointed.” 1 Samuel 26:23
The few faithful people who hold to the testimony of Jesus will always be in this world. There might not be any churches to gather in, nor any reliable translations of the Bible left, but we of today and Christians of tomorrow will have the Holy Spirit living in us. We hold to the promise that God loves us and whoever believes in His Son Jesus Christ will have eternal life. The Lord will repay each one of us for our faithfulness and the righteousness we have in the name of Jesus. We will not lift a hand of aggression against the governing authority. The global government of the beast (United Nations), and all those who live for it, are delivered into the hands of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Then I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their witness to Jesus and for the word of God, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and had not received his mark on their foreheads or on their hands. And they lived and reigned with Christ…

Revelation 20:4
“And indeed, as your life was valued much this day in my eyes, so let my life be valued much in the eyes of the Lord, and let Him deliver me out of all tribulation.” 1 Samuel 26:24
Even as the Lord sees each sparrow which falls to the ground, He sees the suffering of those of us who have chosen His Son Jesus over the way of this world. We are much more valuable to Him than a sparrow, and our deliverance from the tribulation of this world is eternal life in the new heaven and new earth. We will live eternally with the Lord Jesus.
Are not two sparrows sold for a copper coin? And not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father’s will. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Do not fear therefore; you are of more value than many sparrows
Matthew 10:29-31
The description of the new heaven and new earth (the New Jerusalem) is written about in Revelation 21 and Revelation 22, and all through the Bible.
Churchy and humanitarian sounding words are used while conspiring against Christianity. “Then Saul said to David, “May you be blessed, my son David! You shall both do great things and also still prevail.” So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.” 1 Samuel 26:25
The entire life of Saul he conspired against David in one way or another, for fifteen continuous years. David was about fifteen years of age when Saul threw the first spear at David. Saul continued to come against David until Sauls’ death 15 years later. Then David was crowned king. Through the whole time, Saul was filled with all types of praise and flatteries for David whenever David showed respect for Saul, such as sparing Saul’s life twice. Even after the flattery and praise Saul gave to David, they went their separate ways and never reconciled with one another. Saul continued to conspire to kill David.
Today’s world is conspiring against Jesus Christ and all of Christianity in the exact mode of operation as Saul. Like Judas, they will betray you with a kiss. They are not looking for reconciliations but rather cancelation.
Those of this world are very big on human dignity, human respect, and esteem of other human beings as long as the person honors them. They are the ones who live by the thing which forms what they think, do, feel, and speak. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. Actually, honoring those people is to honor the thing which lives and speaks through them. When all is said and done through humanitarian and churchy sounding words, there is a huge gap between the “democratic” society of the beast and those who refuse to serve them in place of serving God the Creator. At the end of the day, the followers of Jesus Christ go their own way down the narrow way to eternal life, and those of the democratic” society go their own way down the broad way to destruction.
The words Saul spoke the first time David spared his life are about the same as the second time David spared his life, as quoted, “And now I know indeed that you shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in your hand.”…”And Saul went home, but David and his men went up to the stronghold.1 Samuel 24:20, 22b. David spared Saul’s life once, then Saul praised and flattered David, then turned around and conspired to kill David again. Then again David spared Saul’s life.
David knew Saul’s flatteries and praises were “phony bologna,” and the words of David which came immediately after Saul’s praises for David is this, “And David said in his heart, “Now I shall perish someday by the hand of Saul. There is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape to the land of the Philistines; and Saul will despair of me, to seek me anymore in any part of Israel. So I shall escape out of his hand.” 1 Samuel 27:1
The superficial flatteries and praises of Saul are like the leaders of this world today who publicly swear they have no malice towards Jesus Christ and Christianity. However, we see the Gospel of Christ has disappeared from the churches, has disappeared from government lawmaking, has disappeared from the educational system, and has disappeared from every sector of society.
The Devil is a sly old fox,
if I could catch him
I would throw him in a box
I’d lock the box and throw away the key
for all the tricks he’s played on me.
I’m glad I am converted.
I’m glad I am converted.
I’m glad I am converted.
And trusting in the Lord.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
