“And He said to those who sold doves, “Take these things away! Do not make My Father’s house a house of merchandise!” John 2:16

Human beings are created to be the house of the Holy Spirit, and we are bought at a price with the blood of Jesus Christ. We must not allow desires for possessions and money to be the price of our soul. We must not sell out the dove of the Holy Spirit.

Or do you not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God, and you are not your own? For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Unfortunately, we live in a world which has adopted humanism as guiding principles and it is rooted in the thing which forms what we think, feel, do, and speak. They have made the world’s population desirous for merchandise and physical comforts as the Holy Spirit is blasphemed, the need for Jesus Christ is discarded, and God is not believed. People in every city around the world welcome the thing which forms their thoughts, behaviors, and feelings as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. It has made the soul a temple of merchandise. As it lives and speaks through people, they are conformed to their place in life by what they say and do. They are conformed to their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.

People are choosing a worldly “livelihood” over God and Jesus Christ, which is exactly what humanism requires, which operates through the thing which forms what we think, feel, and do. Humanism is, “…an outlook or system of thought attaching prime importance to human rather than divine or supernatural matters. Humanist beliefs stress the potential value and goodness of human beings, emphasize common human needs, and seek solely rational ways of solving human problems.”

The governing authority of this world buys the soul with money, possessions, physical desires, and the needs of human physiology to set themselves up as God within the soul of the world’s population,

“…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.

2 Thessalonians 2:4

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
