Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you.
For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Matthew 26:27-30
  • Jesus and His disciples are invited to a wedding.
  • The Gospel has run dry, but the hour of the Lord Jesus is yet to come.
  • We are to do what Jesus Christ says for us to do.
  • We are the waterpot to be filled with the “new wine” of the Spirit of Christ.
  • Jesu directs our waterpot to be filled to the brim with the Water of Life.
  • The Water of Life, the New Wine, is to be shared with others.
  • There is a clear difference between the worldly water and the Water of Life.
  • Jesus Christ is the best and last of God’s offering to humanity.
  • Believers who drink the “New Wine” are unwelcomed in this world.

Jesus and His disciples are invited to a wedding. “On the third day there was a wedding in Cana of Galilee, and the mother of Jesus was there. Now both Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding.” John 2:1-2 Anytime Jesus and His disciples are invited to a wedding it is a good event, and the mother of Jesus was there too. There is nothing better than for two people being united in marriage based on their belief in God, their acknowledgment of the need for Jesus, and embracing the Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ shed His blood on the Cross (the wine) for the remission of sin so that our human spirit would be married to His Spirit, the Holy Spirit.

Today, Jesus Christ and His disciples are not invited to weddings. Relationship bonds are based on the same foundation as every city around the world, which is denial of God the Creator, discarding the need for Jesus Christ, and trampling on the Holy Spirit.

The Gospel has run dry, but the hour of the Lord Jesus is yet to come.  “And when they ran out of wine, the mother of Jesus said to Him, “They have no wine.” Jesus said to her, “Woman, what does your concern have to do with Me? My hour has not yet come.” John 2:3-4 The mother of Jesus wanted the wedding to be a fabulous success, but her concerns were not in sync with the timing of the Lord Jesus.

Today, we have many concerns about this world which desperately needs the “wine” of the blood of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, but it is gone. We would like things to be better, but the time of the hour of the Lord Jesus Christ has not yet come. Luke 21 gives signs of when the hour of Jesus Christ comes and also some signs of the hour of the Lord are given in Matthew 24.

The “wine” represents the blood Jesus shed on the Cross for the atonement of sin, but this world has run out of that “wine.” The churches have run out of the Gospel of Christ, government lawmaking no longer considers the values of the Bible, the educational system has discarded the teaching of Christianity, and the “wine” has been depleted in every sector of society.

The masses in every city around the world live by the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do which enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. As it lives and speaks through them, they are being conformed to their station in life by what they say and do, it is their mark in life as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.

The wine at the wedding ceremony is gone and a wall is built to keep the human spirit from marrying the Spirit of Christ. Things are looking desperate in this world, but the hour of the Lord Jesus is soon to come.

We are to do what Jesus Christ says for us to do. “His mother said to the servants, “Whatever He says to you, do it.” John 2:5 The mother of Jesus knew that if anyone was able to prevent the coming disaster of the wedding, it would be Jesus Christ, the Son of God. She advised that whatever Jesus said to do, to do it.

Today, we know Jesus Christ is the answer to this troubled world and He tells us to eat the bread of His body and to drink His wine (blood). This tells us to ingest the Gospel of Jesus Christ and accept the remission of sin He offers to us when He shed His blood on the Cross.

And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to the disciples and said, “Take, eat; this is My body.” Then He took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

Matthew 26:26-28

We are the waterpot to be filled with the “new wine” of the Spirit of Christ. “Now there were set there six waterpots of stone, according to the manner of purification of the Jews, containing twenty or thirty gallons apiece.” John 2:6 In a sense, the waterpots of stone represent humanity without the “new wine” of the blood of Christ for the remission of sin. We are sinners in need of being filled with the Holy Spirit within the human spirit.

Today, we live in a society which wants our waterpot to be filled with only water and be stone cold to the “new wine” of the Spirit of Christ. That is the version of “purification” of the “democratic” society of the beast, to purge the Spirit of Christ from infilling the human spirit. The water is like humanism which uses a lot of churchy and humanitarian sounding words to fill the waterpot with human dignity, human respect, and esteem, but they refuse to allow the “new wine” of Jesus Christ to enter the waterpot (our body).

Humanism is the clothing worn by those who govern and live by the thing which forms thoughts, feelings, and behaviors to allow the image of the beast to speak and live through them. It sets itself up as God within our waterpot as if it were God,

“…it opposes and exalts itself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that it sits as God in the temple of God, showing itself that it is God.

2 Thessalonians 2:4

Jesus directs our waterpot to be filled to the brim with the Water of Life. “Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim.” John 2:7 Unlike the water of humanism which flows from the fountain of the thing which forms what we feel, think, and do, Jesus fills us with the Water of Life. Our body is the waterpot to be filled with the Water of Life, and filled to the brim,

Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

John 4:13-14

The Water of Life, the New Wine, is to be shared with others. “And He said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” And they took it.” John 2:8 Jesus gives us the Water of Life so that we can share it with others. He shed His blood on the Cross for the remission of sin (the new wine) and the Gospel is to be shared with everyone. Unfortunately, in today’s world we are supposed to keep a “lid on it” and let it become stagnant within us. Today’s society lives by the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do and only allows the lid to open so that the image of the beast lives and speaks through them.

There is a clear difference between the worldly water and the Water of Life. “When the master of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and did not know where it came from (but the servants who had drawn the water knew), the master of the feast called the bridegroom.” John 2:9 The Water of Life which the Lord Jesus gives us is much different than the waters of humanism rooted in the thing which forms what people think, feel, and do. We only need to taste and see that the Lord is good.

The water of humanism uses a lot of churchy and humanitarian sounding words to build up the human being, and their global agenda, but totally corrupts the soul with the death of sin by blaspheming God, rejecting Jesus Christ, and stepping on the Holy Spirit. The Water Jesus gives cleanses and brings life to the soul by the remission of sin and reconciles us to God by the Holy Spirit. When we taste the Water of Life, we immediately know how much different the Spirit of Christ is from the spirit in this world.

Jesus Christ is the best and last of God’s offering to humanity. “And he said to him, “Every man at the beginning sets out the good wine, and when the guests have well drunk, then the inferior. You have kept the good wine until now!” John 2:10 Jesus Christ is the good wine which has been poured out for all humanity as we face these perilous times. When He shed His blood on the Cross, His blood was the very best of God’s wine which He shared with us all for the remission of sin. It is called the New Wine, or New Covenant, which is described like this, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16

Jesus Christ is the Alpha and Omega, the First and the Last, meaning He was from the very beginning of creation and is the very last phase of God’s plan for humanity on earth. He will live eternally. God sent Jesus Christ last after sending all of the prophets of the Old Testament before Him, including John the Baptist. Jesus Christ was not inferior in being the last but was the very best.

Believers who drink the “New Wine” are unwelcomed in this world. “This beginning of signs Jesus did in Cana of Galilee, and manifested His glory; and His disciples believed in Him. After this He went down to Capernaum, He, His mother, His brothers, and His disciples; and they did not stay there many days.” John 2:11-12 The good news is that we believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the remission of sin, the bad news is that this world does not want us to exist in the “democratic” society for many days.

And there shall be a time of trouble,
Such as never was since there was a nation,
Even to that time.
And at that time your people shall be delivered,
Every one who is found written in the book.
And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake,
Some to everlasting life,
Some to shame and everlasting contempt.
Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

Daniel 12:1b.-3

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
