“Therefore David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I go and attack these Philistines? And the Lord said to David, “Go and attack the Philistines, and save Keilah.” 1 Samuel 23:2
Having the permission of God, David went to attack the Philistines and save those on the threshing floor, which is what Jesus Christ does for us. He is coming back to clean out the threshing floor to bring His followers home with Him to eternal life and bring eternal hell to those who blaspheme God, reject the need for Jesus Christ and trample on the Holy Spirit.
His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather the wheat into His barn; but the chaff He will burn with unquenchable fire.
Matthew 3:17
Today, it’s obvious that Christianity is on the threshing floor and being trampled on and broken apart, but Jesus has the victory over the attackers and brings us Salvation. Jesus has won the victory over sin and death as He equips us with the Holy Spirit in this life. Also, Jesus is coming back to put an end to those who afflict His people, and we will live eternally with Him in the New Jerusalem.

His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns. He had names written that no one knew except Himself. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God.

And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND
Revelation 19:11-16
LORD OF LORDS.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
