Repentance towards God means denouncing and being set apart from those who shear the Spirit

1 Samuel 25:25-27

“Please, let not my lord regard this scoundrel Nabal. For as his name is, so is he: Nabal is his name, and folly is with him! But I, your maidservant, did not see the young men of my lord whom you sent.1 Samuel 25:25 The meaning of the name Nabal is “fool,” and a fool in their heart says there is no God. Those who shear the Spirit have no belief in God, and only believe in the human being, which is from humanism entwined with the image and mark of the beast.

Abigail rejected her husband the sheepshearer who treated David and his men harshly, and cleared herself of being a part of what he was doing. When we come to Jesus Christ, we must denounce the actions of shearing the Spirit. Shearing the Spirit is a process of hardening the human spirit to build a wall against the Spirit of Christ, then welcoming the thing which forms what a person thinks, feels, and does. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through a person. We must be set apart from those actions and not have anything to do with shearing the Spirit of Christ.

“Now therefore, my lord, as the Lord lives and as your soul lives, since the Lord has held you back from coming to bloodshed and from avenging yourself with your own hand, now then, let your enemies and those who seek harm for my lord be as Nabal.” 1 Samuel 25:26 Jesus Christ brings forgiveness and Salvation although we deserve eternal death and punishment in hell. All who believe in Him is given eternal life, but His enemies who oppose Him suffer in eternal hell.

We must acknowledge Jesus Christ as our Lord, and not to serve the image and mark of the beast as lord over our life. We never avenge ourselves, but that judgment is left in the hands of God who avenges His people through Jesus Christ. The Spirit holds us back from engaging in bloodshed and other acts of violence and rebellion against a harsh and abrasive world. Those who come against Jesus Christ and harden the human spirit from coming to Him will be as fools, and they will suffer their punishment. That punishment is death in the eternal lake of fire in hell.

“And now this present which your maidservant has brought to my lord, let it be given to the young men who follow my lord.” 1 Samuel 25:27 As a sign of our reconciliation to God through Jesus, we offer gifts to enliven the Spirit of Christ and to feed the spirit of His followers. Because we love Jesus, we feed the human spirit with His Gospel. As quoted below,

So when they had eaten breakfast, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me more than these?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Feed My lambs.”

He said to him again a second time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” He said to Him, “Yes, Lord; You know that I love You.” He said to him, “Tend My sheep.”

He said to him the third time, “Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?” Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, “Do you love Me?” And he said to Him, “Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.” Jesus said to him, “Feed My sheep.”

John 21:15-17

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
