Shearing sheep shaves all the wool from their body leaving them bare of any wool. Today, we live in a world where the Spirit of Christ is being sheared from the human spirit, leaving people bare of belief in God, of the need for Jesus, and of the Holy Spirit. The churches have discarded the Gospel and have become a center for the shearing of sheep, the sheep being those who are led into their congregation. It happened to Jesus Christ, and it happens to everyone who grows the wool of His Spirit,
He was oppressed and He was afflicted,
Isaiah 53:7
Yet He opened not His mouth;
He was led as a lamb to the slaughter,
And as a sheep before its shearers is silent,
So He opened not His mouth.
“Then Samuel died; and the Israelites gathered together and lamented for him, and buried him at his home in Ramah. And David arose and went down to the Wilderness of Paran.” 1 Samuel 25:1 Samuel was a priest who helped David in every way possible. When he died, that is when the story of the sheep shearer begins. Today, it’s like the churches no longer having ministers to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. From that point, the churches have become nothing more than a center where the Spirit of Christ is sheared.
“Now there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel, and the man was very rich. He had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats. And he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.” 1 Samuel 25:2 The sheepshearer was very wealthy. Today, those who shear the Spirit of Christ and the decency within the human spirit are well rewarded. They are rewarded with money, possessions, social approval, physical comforts, etc.
Shearing the Spirit is a major thrust to make people receptive to the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do. It enables the image of the beast to live and speak through a person. It doesn’t want any input from human sentiments nor from the Spirit of Christ, so the Spirit is sheared. As it lives and speaks through people, a person’s mark, or station in life is established, they are synchronized to the mark of the beast.
God wants the wool of the Spirit of Christ to grow on us, and as we contribute to the human spirit through the Gospel of Christ the blessings of the Holy Spirit are given,
Give, and it will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.
Luke 6:38
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11

Thank you for sharing! I often get frustrated when it appears a message of human arrogance is being preached by people weak in faith and being dressed up as the word of God. We need to look past leaders preaching human massages and rely on prayer and listen for Gods True messages. I truly believe the road less traveled is the road of silencing the arrogant human feelings, the emotional pain and the hurts, and praying hard for the message of God to take over. Jesus taught his disciples how to pray. It takes a very deep faith to pray for not our human solutions but for the will of God to be done, and have complete faith in what is True. With Respect, Hope, Joy and Love, Carmela
