King of the South becomes strong.
“Also the king of the South shall become strong, as well as one of his princes; and he shall gain power over him and have dominion. His dominion shall be a great dominion.” Daniel 11:5

After the dominion of the United States of America falls into the hands of the global government [as described in the post on Daniel 11:1-4], the “king of the South” becomes strong along with one of his princes. A prince is like a governor over a nation, so the king of the South and one of his powerful leaders share power together. Their rise to power comes in the absence of the power of the United States. However, the prince gains power over the king of the South and becomes a great dominion within the world.

King of South seeks an agreement with the king of the North.
“And at the end of some years they shall join forces, for the daughter of the king of the South shall go to the king of the North to make an agreement; but she shall not retain the power of her authority, and neither he nor his authority shall stand; but she shall be given up, with those who brought her, and with him who begot her, and with him who strengthened her in those times.” Daniel 11:6.

After some years go by, the prince who seized power from his ally, the king of the South, decides to join forces once again with the king of the South. After this power alliance is formed, the decision is to go to the king of the North to make an agreement with him. At this point, it must be said that neither the king of the South nor the king of the North is a believer in God, Jesus Christ, or the Holy Spirit, as quoted, “Both these kings’ hearts shall be bent on evil, and they shall speak lies at the same table;” Daniel 11:27 With the power of America being out of the picture [which once presented some hope of righteousness and justice in the world], the powers that exist in the world are living against the presence of the Holy Spirit. They disregard the will of God by refusing to live by faith in Jesus Christ.

This would be similar to NATO, without American power, seeking to make a treaty with a powerful military such as Russia. Eventually, the king of the North becomes the military of the global government of the beast, as described in the posts on Daniel 11:25-45. This would be similar to NATO being defeated by Russia. The battle between the king of the South and the king of the North has global significance for the global government.

In an atheistic world, feminine qualities represent goodwill and kindness as the Holy Spirit is oppressed and the purity of kind intentions within goodwill does not exist. In this light, the king of the South sent his daughter to the king of the North to show his goodwill and kindness in seeking a treaty. Needless to say, sealing a promise with a physical gift of a female is far from being a promised sealed by the Holy Spirit.

The despise for the “desire of women” by the king of the North is described in Daniel 11:37 of the post on Daniel 11:36-39

The daughter of the king of the South was not able to retain her authority as the seal of the agreement made with the king of the North. In other words, the agreement fell through and didn’t hold up. The king of the South was disrespected, was not able to stand as a “goodwill ambassador”, and his authority in the world fell. The king of the South was given up [betrayed], along with everyone responsible for bringing the king’s daughter to the king of the North as a goodwill offering. Her mother was also given up along with everyone who was responsible for strengthening her during those times.

In today’s world, governing administrations that do not govern in a way that feeds into the goals of the United Nations to become the one world government do not last long. Entire administrations lose their governing authority. This is happening across the globe. In Russia, people in governing positions mysteriously fall out of windows, or mysteriously poison is found in the body, or their political career suddenly comes to a screeching halt.

In today’s atheistic world, during a time when America no longer has global prominence, goodwill offerings towards other nations are not wanted. There will not be an alliance of global military powers in these times when the United Nations progresses towards being the one world government [with one global military]. The goal is to subdue all military powers to the will of the global government, not to form an alliance with unnecessary military powers. For example, NATO exists because of the threat from Russia etc. The goal of the global government is to end NATO, not to form an agreement through another military source, such as Russia’s. All efforts to send a “daughter” of goodwill to Russian military forces will be betrayed, along with everyone who supports “her” in an “agreement” instead of disarmament.

King of South is betrayed, and his successor retaliates against king of the North.
“But from a branch of her roots one shall arise in his place, who shall come with an army, enter the fortress of the king of the North, and deal with them and prevail.” Daniel 11:7

A successor emerges from the offspring of the daughter of the former king of the South, who was sent as a goodwill gesture to form an agreement with the king of the North. This king of the South is not like the previous king of the South because this time, instead of being a “goodwill ambassador”, he brings an army against the king of the North. The king of the South prevails against the king of the North.

In today’s world, especially in the process of establishing the United Nations as the one world government, there will constantly be wars and rumors of wars. Our Lord Jesus says, “And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.” Matthew 24:6-7

“And he shall also carry their gods captive to Egypt, with their princes and their precious articles of silver and gold; and he shall continue more years than the king of the North.” Daniel 11:8

The king of the South was more war-minded than the previous king of the South [who wanted to act as a “goodwill ambassador” to the king of the North]. The king of the South used his armies against the king of the North and prevailed. The king of the South plundered the fortress of the king of North and carried off their gods to Egypt, along with the precious articles of silver and gold.

Wars, battles, and conflicts of every type are tolerated as long as they feed into the goal of the United Nations to be established as the one world government. Part of that agenda is to hold captive political and religious loyalties along with removing the wealth used for luxurious living at the expense of impoverished nations. The United Nations intends to remove all boundaries set up by religious and political beliefs. The king of the South was doing just that when removing the religious icons, princes, silver, and gold from the king of the North.

Today, we can see how the global government governs by the entity that sets itself above all religions and above all politics. This is the entity that sets in the temple of God, our body, by giving people what to speak, do, think, and feel. This beast sits within the body as if it is God, and this is the one “…who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.” 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 The “he” in this verse is the “man of sin”. Click here for a post on the “man of sin”.

King of the North stirs up the people against the king of the South.
“Also the king of the North shall come to the kingdom of the king of the South, but shall return to his own land. However his sons shall stir up strife, and assemble a multitude of great forces; and one shall certainly come and overwhelm and pass through; then he shall return to his fortress and stir up strife.” Daniel 11:9-10

In the previous verses, the king of the South invaded the territory of the king of North and carried away religious icons, governors, silver, and gold. This is to plunder a countries cultural heritage by removing their religion, their wealth, and governors holding on to the country’s heritage. The king of the North had vengeance in mind.

The king of the North came to the border of the kingdom of the South, probably to spy out the land, but definitely with thoughts of waging war. Whatever malice brought him to the kingdom of the South, he returned to his own land where the matter of vengeance against the king of the South was left undone. At that time, the sons of the king of the North stirred up strife among their own population against the king of the South. The population was so stirred against the king of the South that a multitude of great forces was assembled. That army was overwhelming, and they returned to the territory of the king of the South and stirred up strife there.

Today, we are seeing this happen all across the globe. The population of one nation becomes stirred up with strife against another nation. Even populations of other countries join with the country that is stirred up with another country. This manifests in riots and protests to stir up strife within the country being targeted. This is especially seen in how much strife is stirred up against the State of Israel from all across the globe. When one nation protests, there are protests in countries around the world with the same objective in mind. This is how today’s culture operates, which is global. They are synchronized from city to city around the world by the beast that gives them what to speak, do, think, and feel. This is the driving force that is moving the United Nations forward in being established as the one world government.

King of the South moves against the king of the North and prevails for a while.
“And the king of the South shall be moved with rage, and go out and fight with him, with the king of the North, who shall muster a great multitude; but the multitude shall be given into the hand of his enemy. When he has taken away the multitude, his heart will be lifted up; and he will cast down tens of thousands, but he will not prevail.” Daniel 11:11-12

The king of the South became enraged with the tactics of the king of the North for bringing multitudes against him and causing strife. The king of the South decided to react by fighting against the agitators of the king of the North. That seems to be the case in this present world where one nation becomes so agitated with the tactics of another that conflict breaks out. The king of the North gathered a great army but was defeated by the king of the South. The king of the South became puffed up by killing tens of thousands, but the victory wouldn’t last long.

In today’s world, violence for any reason is not condoned. Just because someone aggravates and provokes us is no reason to react with hostility and physical aggression. This principle applies to countries as well that are urged to exercise restraint in responding to provocations with military force. Aggressors are always on the wrong side of the law.

Victory does not come by power and might, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6 Our lord Jesus says that the peace that He gives is not like the peace of this world, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. You have heard Me say to you, ‘I am going away and coming back to you.’” John 14:27-28

In today’s culture, the tactic is to rile people up to drive them to hostile behaviors, and to puff up their dignity, esteem, and sense of respect by being victorious in hostile reactions. The Holy Spirit speaks these words to us, “…be subject to rulers and authorities, to obey, to be ready for every good work, to speak evil of no one, to be peaceable, gentle, showing all humility to all men.” Titus 3:1-2

King of the North brings a great multitude and much equipment against the king of the South.
For the king of the North will return and muster a multitude greater than the former, and shall certainly come at the end of some years with a great army and much equipment. Now in those times many shall rise up against the king of the South. Also, violent men of your people shall exalt themselves in fulfillment of the vision, but they shall fall.” Daniel 11:13-14

In the previous verses, the king of the North agitated the king of the South so much that the king of the South reacted with military aggression. This enabled the king of the North to respond to that reaction by building up a multitude against the king of the South. In today’s world, whenever there is a conflict between two countries, the debate is always about who the aggressor is. Aggression is not condoned. Countries are always urged not to respond to agitators with military force. This also applies to how people react to the provocations of others, and violence is never acceptable. As our lord Jesus taught us, “You have heard that it was said, ‘An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I tell you not to resist an evil person. But whoever slaps you on your right cheek, turn the other to him also.” Matthew 5:38-40

After several years, the king of the North gathered a great multitude greater than ever before. He brought a great army and much equipment against the king of the South. The equipment would include such things as battering rams, ladders to climb the walls, tools to build a siege mount etc. A siege mount is like building a mound of dirt beside a wall that is high enough to be able to climb over a wall. Today, this type of equipment is anything used to breach the walls of another country, which is to breach their security network. Such equipment includes cyber-warfare, spy satellites, robotics, drones, spy ballons, all types of technological devices, etc. Not to mention that televisions are in every home around the world.

During the time that the king of the north brought much equipment and a great multitude against the king of the South, many rose up against the king of the South. Today, we are living in the technological age where people are synchronized in their purpose by the entity giving them what to speak, do, think, and feel. That entity is artificial in that it is non-spiritual and opposes the Spirit of God. That is the nature of the global culture. Ezekiel speaks of the equipment of the space satellites, space station, and space shuttles as described in Ezekiel 1. The army of the global population are products of the beast of the technological age. They come against the “king of the South”, which means they come against the military forces that are not in alignment with the goals of the global government of the beast.

“In those times” refers to the world we are living into today and what is to follow. The following verse explains exactly what we are seeing in the behaviors within the government of the State of Israel in these times, “Also, violent men of your people shall exalt themselves in fulfillment of the vision, but they shall fall.” The State of Israel has been in 18 wars since the day they were established as a state in 1948. Click here for a list of those wars. They exalt themselves in the vision of having an independent State of Israel in a world driving towards a one world culture. which is not a Jewish culture. They will fall in their quest for the vision. Their use of military aggression is in violation of the agenda of the global government. As Christians [which the Jewish people should accept Jesus Christ as their lord and Savior], we do not have a country on this earth to call our own, our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth.

King of the North defeats the wearied king of the South.
“So the king of the North shall come and build a siege mound, and take a fortified city; and the forces of the South shall not withstand him. Even his choice troops shall have no strength to resist.” Daniel 11:15

The king of the South is defeated, but more is heard from him in the later verses beginning with Daniel 11:25. After having multitudes of people rallied around him, the king of the north builds a siege mound against the wall of the territory of the king of the South. The mound was built so that soldiers could practically walk up the mound and over the wall. In today’s time, the “siege mound” is any type of technology or apparatus that breaches the security of another nation. With security being breached, having all the information necessary, and able to unlock any door, an enemy nation can waltz right into another nation and destroy it from within. The global culture is rallied around any military action that empowers the United Nations to become stronger as the one world government. Today, that is what military operations are all about, having the global culture in support of aggression used against hostile elements in the world.

Fortified cities are easily taken by the technological “siege mounds” of today’s world. The security of military forces is easily breached, and no military of this world is able to withstand the technology used to usher in the one world government of the beast. After all, televisions are in every army base. As are cell phones, social apps, computers, etc. which are known to be under the dominion of today’s technological god that knows and sees everything. In the posts on Daniel 11:25-30 and Daniel 11:31-35, we learn how the beast sets in the temple of God, our body, to have access to what people speak, do, think, and feel as if it is God. Even the most elite troops have no strength to resist.

King of the North has his way in the world and stands in the Glorious Land.
“But he who comes against him shall do according to his own will, and no one shall stand against him. He shall stand in the Glorious Land with destruction in his power. He shall also set his face to enter with the strength of his whole kingdom, and upright ones with him; thus shall he do. And he shall give him the daughter of women to destroy it; but she shall not stand with him, or be for him.” Daniel 11:16-17

The phrase, “…he who comes against him…” refers to the king of the North who came against the king of the South. No one will be able to stand against the king of the North. The king of the North is clearing away any opposition to its power to establish the undisputed one world government. In other words, any challenge to the authority of the government of the beast is removed, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with him?” Revelation 13:4 This would be similar to Russia defeating NATO [without the United States] to bring one undisputed global power to the world.

The king of the North will stand in the Glorious Land with destruction in its power. This would be like Russia’s military standing in Israel with the ability to unleash destruction on Israel. Remember, the United States is out of the picture at this point as a world power, as described in Daniel 8:1-14 and Daniel 11:3-4.

Standing in the Glorious Land, like standing in the place where God is spotlighted as the center of cultural existence, emboldens the king of the North to enter the “whole kingdom” with the strength of his whole kingdom and the upright ones with him. Entering the “whole kingdom” refers to dominating the soul of each person, as Jesus said, “For indeed, the kingdom of God is within you.” Luke 17:21 The “strength of his whole kingdom” refers to the global culture of people around the world, as stated in the previous verses of Daniel 11:13-14 He does this with his upright ones, which refers to having a “…form of godliness but denying its power.” 2 Timothy 3:5

The king of the North offers the “daughter of women” to destroy those living for the Kingdom of God in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The king of the North despises the “desire of women”, as described in Daniel 11:37 of the post on Daniel 11:36-39 and uses “her” for malicious purposes. In an atheistic world, offering the “daughter of women” refers to presenting goodwill, kindness, smooth words, and flattery in place of the Holy Spirit. Feminine qualities are used instead of the goodwill and kindness that comes through the integrity of the Holy Spirit, “…by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.” Romans 16:18 Satan operates as an angel of light, “For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15

We who live in the presence of the Holy Spirit know the difference between this world’s brand of kindness, love, and goodwill and the fruit of the Spirit that lives in us. The world’s brand quenches the Holy Spirit. We reject the offering made through the “daughter of women” and cling to the fruit of the Holy Spirit. When it comes to coming against the Kingdom of God, which is in us through the Holy Spirit, the “daughter of women” is not able to stand with nor be for the “king” of this world. The Holy Spirit within us rejects this world’s brand of kindness, goodwill, and love. Today’s culture lives for the “beast with two horns like a lamb” [Revelations 13:11-12], which is Satan’s version of the Holy Spirit.

“And forces shall be mustered by him, and they shall defile the sanctuary fortress; then they shall take away the daily sacrifices, and place there the abomination of desolation. Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.” Daniel 11:31-32

Remember the kings of the North and South are wicked people, “Both these kings’ hearts shall be bent on evil, and they shall speak lies at the same table; but it shall not prosper, for the end will still be at the appointed time.” Daniel 11:27

King of the North comes against the coastland, but coastland is given a reprieve.
“After this he shall turn his face to the coastlands, and shall take many. But a ruler shall bring the reproach against them to an end; and with the reproach removed, he shall turn back on him. Then he shall turn his face toward the fortress of his own land; but he shall stumble and fall, and not be found.” Daniel 11:18-19

In the previous verses of Daniel 11:16-17, the king of the North was unsuccessful in using the “daughter of women” to destroy the whole kingdom of the Glorious Land. Which is to say that using this world’s brand of kindness, goodwill, love, flattery, and smooth words is unsuccessful against the Kingdom of God, which is in us through the Holy Spirit.

After unsuccessfully coming against the “whole kingdom”, the king of the North turns towards the coastlands to defeat many. These coastlands are filled with people who are uncommitted to the global culture and find themselves on the beach of social outcasts. These coastlands also represent the place where people might or might not decide to reconcile to God by faith in Jesus Christ to live in the presence of the Holy Spirit. The battle turned from directly coming against Holy Spirit filled people to being hostile to those on the coastlands. And being a stumbling block to those who are candidates for saying “Yes” to Jesus Christ. Many are defeated in those “coastlands”. “But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to sin, it would be better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck, and he were drowned in the depth of the sea.” Matthew 18:6

A ruler, one of the architects and governors of the global government, puts an end to the despise and disapproval of the outcasts living on the coastlands. This is like the removal of direct hostile action taken against those who are uncommitted in either direction.

After turning away from the coastlands, the king of the North returns to his own land, but on the way, he stumbles and falls and is not found. This king was a military power, going around conquering any and all other military powers as well as those who served God through Jesus Christ instead of serving under his rule [the rule of the global power]. He stumbles and falls and is not found doesn’t mean he is defeated and never seen again. In Daniel 11: 21-45, it is revealed that the north military is still very much alive and aggressive but is working for the global government of the beast. The south military is still around but constantly being beat down by the north. As quoted from Daniel 11:40, “At the time of the end the king of the South will attack him; and the king of the North shall come against him like a whirlwind, with chariots, horsemen, and with many ships; and he shall enter the countries, overwhelm them, and pass through.”

As the king of the North stumbles and falls, not to be found, on his behalf stands the “raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom…”. “Then shall stand up in his estate a raiser of taxes in the glory of the kingdom: but within few days he shall be destroyed, neither in anger, nor in battle.” Daniel 11:20 Click here for the post on global taxes raised for the government of the beast.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
