The armor of God is fitting to the Spirit of Christ. “So Saul clothed David with his armor, and he put a bronze helmet on his head; he also clothed him with a coat of mail.” 1 1 Samuel 17:38 Saul’s armor is worldly armor to protect the human body, but the armor of God is to protect the soul. Saul’s armor did not include the helmet of salvation, nor the breastplate of righteousness, nor the sword of Spirit which is the word of God. “David fastened his sword to his armor and tried to walk, for he had not tested them. And David said to Saul, “I cannot walk with these, for I have not tested them.” So David took them off.” 1 Samuel 17:39 It’s not possible to walk in the spirit when wearing the armor of the flesh. Jesus Christ walked in the Spirit of God, not according to the expectations of this world.

“For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.” Galatians 5:17 Trying to use worldly armor to fight a spiritual battle is like trying to get the flesh to defend the spirit. The armor we wear as followers of Jesus Christ is found in Ephesians 6:14-18, which includes the truth of Christ, righteousness in the Holy Spirit, the Gospel of peace, faith, assurance of Salvation, and the word of God. We pray in the Spirit and for other Believers.

Jesus Christ has five stones ready to sling at the global government of the beast. “Then he took his staff in his hand; and he chose for himself five smooth stones from the brook, and put them in a shepherd’s bag, in a pouch which he had, and his sling was in his hand. And he drew near to the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:40 The staff is the authority of God invested in Jesus Christ, and the five smooth stones are in His shepherd’s bag. Those five stones represent the judgment of God which are hurled at the giant global government of the beast.

Jesus Christ is the Good Shepherd, and when He comes back to take vengeance against those who afflict His sheep, He will be slinging some stones. We are living in the last of the last days, and Jesus Christ has the sling in hand and ready to sling some stones. He is approaching the giant global government of the beast and is ready to knock it down and destroy it.

The global government of the beast disdains Christianity.  “So the Philistine came, and began drawing near to David, and the man who bore the shield went before him. And when the Philistine looked about and saw David, he disdained him; for he was only a youth, ruddy and good-looking.” 1 Samuel 17:41-42 David looked nothing like a rough and ready soldier, and all the giant Goliath saw were those attractive and boyish outward features. The giant despised David.

Jesus Christ was filled with the Spirit of God and His outward appearance showed no signs of a military soldier ready to conquer the world. Jesus was disdained by the Jewish leadership which would later lose their prominence to Christianity. Today, those who live and govern for the “democratic” society of the beast disdains Christianity. They choose to welcome the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do as it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through them. It conforms people to their place in life, their mark in life, as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. It is their lifestyle to blaspheme God, discard the need for Jesus, and trample on the Holy Spirit.

“So the Philistine said to David, “Am I a dog, that you come to me with sticks?” And the Philistine cursed David by his gods.” 1 Samuel 17:43 The “democratic” society of the beasts feels that the teachings of the Bible are harmful to human dignity, respect, and esteem. They take offense to being called sinners in need of the remission of sin through the Lord Jesus. The global government of the beast curses the vulnerability of Christianity in the name of its god, and boasts, “Who is like the beast, who is able to make war with it.” Revelation 13:4

“And the Philistine said to David, “Come to me, and I will give your flesh to the birds of the air and the beasts of the field!” 1 Samuel 17:44 The global giant of the beast intends to totally grind Jesus Christ and Christianity to the ground. But Jesus says, “And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. But rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.” Matthew 10:28

Jesus Christ comes by the authority of God against the global giant. “Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the Lord of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied.” 1 Samuel 17:45

Today, th0se who live and govern by the thing which forms their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors come against Jesus Christ in every worldly and physical way possible. They seem head and shoulders above everyone else in their physical abilities, uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills, etc. However, Jesus Christ comes against them in the name of the Lord of Hosts, the God of the armies of His followers, whom this world defies and blasphemes. “But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.” 1 Corinthians 15:57

“This day the Lord will deliver you into my hand, and I will strike you and take your head from you. And this day I will give the carcasses of the camp of the Philistines to the birds of the air and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel.” 1 Samuel 17:46 When Jesus Christ comes back, it will be the end of this present giant government system, and there won’t be any more left of it than the roadkill laying everywhere. That is written about in Revelation 18 as well as Revelation 19:17:18 “Then all this assembly shall know that the Lord does not save with sword and spear; for the battle is the Lord’s, and He will give you into our hands.” 1 Samuel 17:47

As it is written, “For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.

2 Corinthians 10:3-6

Jesus Christ destroys the global government of the beast. “So it was, when the Philistine arose and came and drew near to meet David, that David hurried and ran toward the army to meet the Philistine.” 1 Samuel 17:48 When the global army of the beast comes against Christ, it is the beginning of their end. Jesus runs into the battle, as described in Revelation 19:19-21.

“Then David put his hand in his bag and took out a stone; and he slung it and struck the Philistine in his forehead, so that the stone sank into his forehead, and he fell on his face to the earth.” 1 Samuel 17:49 Those who live and govern for the “democratic” society of the beast believes in human reasoning and discards the human spirit and the Spirit of Christ. Jesus is going to sink a stone into their head and bring an end to the giant government that has more faith in human rationale than in the Holy Spirit.

“So David prevailed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone, and struck the Philistine and killed him. But there was no sword in the hand of David.” 1 Samuel 17:50 Jesus Christ is going to defeat he global government of the beast with not so much as a sword in his hand. He does it by the Spirit of God against a world focused on human physiology, money, and possessions. The hardness of this present system against God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is the stone that brings their destruction.

“Therefore David ran and stood over the Philistine, took his sword and drew it out of its sheath and killed him, and cut off his head with it.” 1 Samuel 17:51a. The violent sword that the giant government of the beast uses to submit nations is the same sword that will bring their end. It is the judgement of God.

All those who live by the image and mark of the beast are defeated. “And when the Philistines saw that their champion was dead, they fled.” 1 Samuel 17:51b. When the power is gone from throne of the beast, that brings the death of the thing that has power to form thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors, then its followers will flee. The image of the beast will be knocked out and no longer living and speaking through people. Also, the mark of the beast will be knocked out and people will no longer be restricted to a specific station in life.

The power center of the mark of the beast is plunged into darkness as written about in Revelation 16:10, “Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain.” It will be a total defeat for the global giant from the very top to the very bottom, as written,

“Now the men of Israel and Judah arose and shouted, and pursued the Philistines as far as the entrance of the valley and to the gates of Ekron. And the wounded of the Philistines fell along the road to Shaaraim, even as far as Gath and Ekron.” 1 Samuel 17:52 After the head of the global government is cut off, which comes when the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness, then the Battle of Armageddon comes, as stated in Revelation 16:12-16,

“Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared. And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs coming out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet. For they are spirits of demons, performing signs, which go out to the kings of the earth and of the whole world, to gather them to the battle of that great day of God Almighty. “Behold, I am coming as a thief. Blessed is he who watches, and keeps his garments, lest he walk naked and they see his shame.” And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.”

“Then the children of Israel returned from chasing the Philistines, and they plundered their tents. And David took the head of the Philistine and brought it to Jerusalem, but he put his armor in his tent.” 1 Samuel 17:53-54 All of us followers of Jesus Christ have victory over this world and the government of the beast through Jesus Christ. And Jesus totally dismantles those who denied God, rejected Him, and trampled on the Holy Spirit. Putting the giant’s armor in His tent is like putting His enemies under His feet, “…from that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool.” Hebrews 10:13

“…those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two (the beast and the second beast called the false prophet) were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.” Revelation 19:20b.-21

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. “When Saul saw David going out against the Philistine, he said to Abner, the commander of the army, “Abner, whose son is this youth? And Abner said, “As your soul lives, O king, I do not know.”” 1 Samuel 17:55 Saul knew David was the son of Jesse as seen in 1 Samuel 16:18, but now he has no recollection of who David’s father is. Perhaps his distressed demon spirit robbed him of his memory. Like today, no one remembers that Jesus is the Son of God because the churches no longer share the Gospel of Christ. We live in a world that is completely humanized and nothing is sacred nor Divine.

“So the king said, “Inquire whose son this young man is.” 1 Samuel 17:56 When Jesus walked this earth, many people persisted in questioning who He was, and Jesus clearly said He is the Son of God, “Again the high priest asked Him, saying to Him, “Are You the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” Jesus said, “I am. And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” Mark 14:61b.-62

“Then, as David returned from the slaughter of the Philistine, Abner took him and brought him before Saul with the head of the Philistine in his hand.” 1 Samuel 17:57 Jesus Christ has the victory over sin, death, and the power of this world. “And Saul said to him, “Whose son are you, young man? So David answered, “I am the son of your servant Jesse the Bethlehemite.”” 1 Samuel 17:58 David is symbolic of Jesus who clearly says that He is the Christ, the Son of God.

“For it is written: “As I live, says the Lord, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God.” Romans 14:11 One day, every knee will bow in submission to Christ and every tongue confess to God.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
