- Worldly military powers come against one another.

- The global government intends to submit every country to their will.
- The global giant dares the people of God to fight.
Worldly military powers come against one another. “Now the Philistines gathered their armies together to battle, and were gathered at Sochoh, which belongs to Judah; they encamped between Sochoh and Azekah, in Ephes Dammim.” 1 Samuel 17:1 Worldly powers put their faith in numbers and in the power of military force.
“And Saul and the men of Israel were gathered together, and they encamped in the Valley of Elah, and drew up in battle array against the Philistines.” 1 Samuel 17:2 At this point, Saul has already been rejected by God as king of Israel, but he still sits on the throne. His plan is to fight flesh and blood with flesh and blood. This is similar to how the Battle of Armageddon transpires, but it is Jesus Christ who has the final victory over this world.
An irreconcilable divide separates the worldly armies. “The Philistines stood on a mountain on one side, and Israel stood on a mountain on the other side, with a valley between them.” 1 Samuel 17:3 During the time of the Battle of Armageddon, there is a deep divide in the world which causes the armies of the global government to come against the rest of the world.
What would cause a global war in a world dominated by those who have power over physiology and governs through the thing which forms what we think, feel, and do? Afterall, it enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. The Battle of Armageddon happens because the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness, which means there is a blackout of the power driving the global government of the beast. That means the thing that forms what a person thinks, feels, and does is offline, the image of the beast is offline, and the mark of the beast is offline. The global government is plunged into powerlessness.
Without the power of the beast, the global government is seeking to maintain power with military violence. At the same time, the powerful forces which opposes the global government is now on equal footing and the global war ensues. Just before the power center of the beast is plunged into darkness, the intense heat of global warming is in the world, Revelation 16:8-9 (Fourth Plague). Then in Revelation 16:10 (Fifth Plague) reveals the black-out of the throne of the beast, and Revelation 16:12-16 (Sixth Plague) reveals the Battle of Armageddon.
Who is able to make war with the global government? Before the power center of the beast plunges into darkness, the masses around the world boastfully declare, “Who is like the beast? Who is able to make war with it?” Revelation 13:4 That is the feeling of invincibility in the world today, possessed by those who live and govern by the thing with power over physiology and is able to form what people feel, think, and do.
The thing that has power over physiology makes their people stand head and shoulders above those who are not integrated into their “democratic” society. Those “giants” are endowed with uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, amazing physical abilities, extraordinary skills and talents, authority, physical comforts, emotional appropriateness, etc. They seem as invincible as the giant Goliath.
Goliath was 9 1/2 feet tall, his coat of armor weighed 78 pounds, his spear was about 1o 1/2 feet tall with an iron spearhead weighing 15 pounds.
“And a champion went out from the camp of the Philistines, named Goliath, from Gath, whose height was six cubits and a span.” 1 Samuel 17:4 Six cubits and a span is about 9 1/2 feet tall. “He had a bronze helmet on his head, and he was armed with a scaled body armor, and the weight of the coat was five thousand shekels of bronze.” 1 Samuel 17:5 Five thousand shekels of bronze is about 78 pounds. “And he had bronze armor on his legs and a bronze javelin between his shoulders. Now the staff of his spear was like a weaver’s beam, and his iron spearhead weighed six hundred shekels; and a shield-bearer went before him.” 1 Samuel 17:6-7 Six hundred shekels is about 15 pounds.

In the picture above, the height of the spear is exaggerated.

In the picture above, everything seems close to scale. Afterall, the giant wasn’t 20 feet tall; he was 9 1/2 feet tall, and David was still a growing boy. The tallest basketball player in the world is about 8 feet tall, which is about 1 and 1/2 feet shorter than Goliath.
The people of God are taunted by the global giant. “Then he stood and cried out to the armies of Israel, and said to them, “Why have you come out to line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and you the servants of Saul? Choose a man for yourselves, and let him come down to me.” 1 Samuel 17:8 Any conflict in the world corresponds to a conflict with the giant global government of the beast. The global government is able to instigate situations of conflict in other nations in order to conquer them and bring them under the control of the global agenda of the United Nations. Just their challenge against a nation is enough to make nations stand-down and conform to the global agenda.
Today there is conflict between Israel vs. the West Bank, half of Jerusalem, the Gaza Strip, Syria, Iran, etc. Really, it is Israel vs. the agenda of the global government of the beast. Already, the United Nations has stepped in, like the giant Goliath, and has passed mandates condemning Israel. Even the United States condemns Israel’s police and military aggression and refuses to support Israel against the global “democratic” society.
Israel is not living by the word of God and has rejected the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is “king Saul” which is challenged by the global government, and even though that is God’s judgment against Israel, an attack against Israel is an attack against God.
The global government intends to submit every country to their will. “If he is able to fight with me and kill me, then we will be your servants. But if I prevail against him and kill him, then you shall be our servants and serve us.” 1 Samuel 17:9 In this world today, there are armed and powerful rebels against the global government. However, supporting the global government of the beast are the masses around the world who live by the thing which forms what they think, feel, and do. They are allowing the image of the beast to live and speak through people. They aggressively demand conformity to the global “democratic” society. They are filled with hostility towards military aggression of those not with the global order. They dare and challenge any one to come against them, as they boast, “who is like the beast, who is able to make war with it.” Their plan is to submit every country to the will of the global government of the beast.
The global giant dares the people of God to fight. “And the Philistine said, “I defy the armies of Israel this day; give me a man, that we may fight together.” 1 Samuel 17:10 By the way, the Philistines come from a country (Philistia) which is within the Gaza Strip of today. As we know, Israel and the Gaza Strip are still fighting today. While Israel is being goaded to aggression, the giant which is defying the armies of Israel also includes the global “democratic” society which is defying Christianity.
When the armies of Israel are being defied, Christians are being defied. Israel is another name for Jacob, as explained in Genesis 32:28. Christians are the children of Israel (Jacob) through Jesus Christ, which is what the story of the trio of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob (Israel) is all about. The promise made to Abraham, to multiply his descendants like the sands of the seashore, was fulfilled through the twelve sons/tribes of Israel/Jacob. Jesus Christ is from the tribe of Judah, born from the family tree of Jacob, Isaac, and Abraham.
“When Saul and all Israel heard these words of the Philistine, they were dismayed and greatly afraid.” 1 Samuel 17:11. Saul and all of Israel were afraid because they had no trust in God, they lost heart, were shaken, and distressed. They were looking on the outside at physical appearances, but they were not trusting in the Spirit of God.
Jesus gives us peace because the war is not with flesh and blood but is in the realm of the spirit. “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
