The love between Christ and His followers is steadfast in burdens and tribulation

“As soon as the lad had gone, David arose from a place toward the south, fell on his face to the ground, and bowed down three times. And they kissed one another; and they wept together, but David more so.” 1 Samuel 20:41 As followers of Jesus Christ, we bond with His Spirit in the love we have for Him and the love He has for us. It is heartbreaking and sad to know that the elimination of Christianity is upon us and burdens, afflictions, and hardships are placed on Christians. The mourning remains in our heart without an outward expression made in front of the younger generation.

“Then Jonathan said to David, “Go in peace, since we have both sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, ‘May the Lord be between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants, forever.’” So he arose and departed, and Jonathan went into the city.” 1 Samuel 20:42 There is a covenant made between those who love Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ, which is, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 In these difficult times we are given peace, “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27

Jesus Christ has departed this earth but has left us the Comforter, and as Believers we go into the city upholding His testimony. “A little while longer and the world will see Me no more, but you will see Me. Because I live, you will live also. At that day you will know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you. He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” John 14:19-21

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:1
