Meeting or not meeting a target reveals intentions towards Jesus Christ.

1 Samuel 20:18-23

“Then Jonathan said to David, “Tomorrow is the New Moon; and you will be missed, because your seat will be empty.” 1 Samuel 20:18 When Jesus Christ died on the Cross to atone for sin and was raised from the dead, He opened our soul to be the home of the Holy Spirit. Today, His presence within the seat of the soul of the masses around the world is missing. The thing that forms thoughts, feelings, emotions, and behaviors is sitting in that seat to synchronize a person to the mark of the beast.

“And when you have stayed three days, go down quickly and come to the place where you hid on the day of the deed; and remain by the stone Ezel.” 1 Samuel 20:19 After three days, David would go to a place in anticipation of hearing Saul’s intention towards him. In these days of the resurrected Savior, we watch, hear, and wait to know the community’s and world’s intention towards Christianity and every aspect of Jesus Christ. How do we know what the intentions are towards Jesus Christ, the next paragraph describes something we can gage by.

“Then I will shoot three arrows to the side, as though I shot at a target;” 1 Samuel 20:20 Targets are often associated with goals, such as “targeting a goal,” “meeting targets,” etc. Joathan is going to shoot arrows like he is trying to hit a target, which can symbolize the followers of Jesus Christ setting targets. “…and there I will send a lad, saying, ‘Go, find the arrows.’ If I expressly say to the lad, ‘Look, the arrows are on this side of you; get them and come’—then, as the Lord lives, there is safety for you and no harm.” 1 Samuel 20:21 If the targeted goal of a Christian is obtainable, and there is fruitfulness in the Gospel of Christ, then it’s safe to assume that the community network is supportive of the ministry of Jesus Christ.

“But if I say thus to the young man, ‘Look, the arrows are beyond you’—go your way, for the Lord has sent you away. And as for the matter which you and I have spoken of, indeed the Lord be between you and me forever.” 1 Samuel 20:22-23 If the targeted goal of a Christian is beyond the ability to reach, and there is no fruitfulness in the Gospel of Christ, then it’s safe to assume that the “democratic” society of the mark of the beast dominates. The Lord does not want us to have any part with them, but He sends us away from them. Light has no part with darkness and righteousness has no part with unrighteousness.

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
