“Then David said to Jonathan, “Who will tell me, or what if your father answers you roughly?” 1 Samuel 20:10 David wanted to know how Jonathan planned to make Saul’s intentions known to him. As followers of Christ, how do we know what the intention of this current governing system is towards Jesus Christ?
“And Jonathan said to David, “Come, let us go out into the field.” So both of them went out into the field.” 1 Samuel 20:11 In the field is where the secret is told of how to know what the intentions are towards Jesus. Being in the field, with the Spirit of Jesus Christ, is where the Gospel seed should be planted and where Christian fruit should blossom. We know the tree by the fruit it gives.
“Then Jonathan said to David: “The Lord God of Israel is witness! When I have sounded out my father sometime tomorrow, the third day, and indeed there is good toward David, and I do not send to you and tell you, may the Lord do so and much more to Jonathan.” 1 Samuel 20:12-13a.When there are good intentions perceived towards Jesus Christ, the fruit of the Good News will blossom and be shared.
“But if it pleases my father to do you evil, then I will report it to you and send you away, that you may go in safety. And the Lord be with you as He has been with my father.” 1 Sanuel 20:13b. When evil is perceived towards Jesus Christ, the Good News does not blossom, and the followers of Christ are sent away from harm. We head for safety in the “cleft of the rock” and that cleft is in the Spirit of Christ.
Now is the time for Christians to separate from the ways of the world. It’s obvious the Good News is not blossoming in today’s field. The Gospel is not in the churches, not in government policy, not in schools, nowhere. These are times when people serve humanism rooted in the mark of the beast and is part of the global “democratic” society of the beast.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
