“‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit,
Revelation 18:2-3
a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal. For all the nations have drunk
the maddening wine of her adulteries. The kings of the earth committed adultery with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries.”
- Persistent rejection of Jesus Christ brings global tribulation.
- Persistent unfaithfulness brings God’s wrath.
- Famine of spiritual food and the land is cut off even if Noah, Daniel, and Job are there.
- Wild beasts pass through the land and desolated, even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there.
- A sword passes through the land even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it.
- Pandemics and blood are poured out on the land even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it.
- Four Severe and justifiable judgments are sent on Jerusalem.
- Four severe judgments are sent on Jerusalem.
- God does nothing without cause.
- A remnant will be saved, and the wrath of God is justified.
Persistent rejection of Jesus Christ brings global tribulation.
Persistent unfaithfulness brings God’s wrath. “The word of the Lord came again to me, saying: “Son of man, when a land sins against Me by persistent unfaithfulness, I will stretch out My hand against it;” Ezekiel 14:12
The Jewish nation has been persistently unfaithful to God, and we see His hand stretched out against the State of Israel today. Their unfaithfulness comes by rejecting Jesus Christ as their Messiah, Lord, and Savior. The hand of God against them is obvious when realizing that Israel has been in 18 wars since they were established in 1948. There was even a war in 1948. Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page.
2000 years ago, the Jewish nation refused to humble themselves by becoming Christians. Instead, they exalted the Jewish culture over Jesus Christ. The result was the establishment of the Jewish nation called the State of Israel. If they would have accepted Jesus, they would be Christian and not Jewish. Through Jesus Christ, the State of Israel would not exist because Christians have no nation on this earth to call our own. Our nation is the New Jerusalem in the new heaven and earth. Because the Jewish people rebelled against the will of God, God’s hand is stretched out against them today.
Today, the world government of the beast and its global culture persistently come against God. They deny Him as Creator, they discard the need for the remission of sin through Jesus Christ, and they oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. They follow the entity that gives them what to think, feel, do, and say. This entity enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people as they are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
The hand of God is stretched out against this world system. Global warming is already in the world as the Fourth Plague in Revelation 16:8-9. Global warming is instrumental in bringing the destruction of the power center of the beast, as mentioned in the Fifth Plague of Revelation 16:10-11. At that time, the world government of the beast and its global culture will be rendered powerless. That global loss of power leads to the Battle of Armageddon as mentioned in the Sixth Plague in Revelation 16:12-16. The Day of the Lord arrives, and Jesus Christ returns.
Famine of spiritual food and the land is cut off even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there. “I will cut off its supply of bread, send famine on it, and cut off man and beast from it. Even if these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 14:13-14
The bread is thought of as being the word of God. In that light, the Israelites once had all of the Bread that existed in the world. They were the standard bearers of living for God with the Ten Commandments being solely in their possession. Today, their supply of Bread has been cut off and they are experiencing a famine. They have tossed aside the Bread of Life, who is Jesus Christ, as they only live by the Old Testament and none of the New Testament. Their famine is on them because they have turned from the will of God by rejecting Jesus Christ.
The State of Israel is being cut off from man and beast. In short, being cut off from “man” (humankind) refers to the global culture and the nations of the world coming against Israel. Being cut off from “beast” refers to being cut off from a functional economy as well as experiencing food shortages. A “beast” in the Bible often refers to animals used to farm the land, as livestock for food, as well as the wild beast within the land.
Ezekiel mentions Noah, Daniel, and Job which refers to spiritual wickedness and violence filling the world, the presence of the world government and its global culture, and the suffering and affliction of those living in the righteousness of Jesus Christ. This is a time when the Bread of Life is cut off as well as man and beast.
Noah describes the flood of wickedness rising so high that the world was destroyed. Today, we see the flood of violence rising against the State of Israel, which has been in 18 wars since they were established in 1948. There was even a war in 1948. Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. Without Jesus Christ, there is no ark to escape from the flood of the wrath of God’s judgment. God requires Israel to board the ark of Salvation which comes through His Son Jesus Christ.
Daniel describes the appearance of the global government of the beast, as does Revelation 17, which explains why the United Nations is hostile to the independence of the Jewish State of Israel. With the Independence of Israel, the goal of the UN to be established as the one world government cannot be realized. The UN insists that Israel be unified with the countries of the Middle East. In that unification, the world becomes more unified, and the United Nations gains more power as the one world government. The members of the United Nations insist on a “Two State Soultion” between Israel and the Palestinians because this is one step closer to global unification.
Job represents the trials, heartbreaks, loss of family and friends, worldly losses, and physical losses while remaining faithful to God. The Jewish people are suffering all of this within the State of Israel, but their response is one of violence, protests, and riots, instead of following the example of Job’s faithfulness. They have been violently fighting since the very first year of their existence in 1948 and have been involved in 18 wars. With that, the Israelis riot and protest against their own government to demand conformity to the will of the goal of the United Nations. God’s way is the way of peace, not violence, “‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the Lord of hosts.” Zachariah 4:6
Today, this world has been cut off from the Bread of Life and there is a famine of the gospel of Jesus Christ. The churches are no longer a light shining on the testimony of Jesus. Government lawmakers no longer include the values of the Bible in their policies and laws. The educational system no longer allows the teaching of the Bible in the classrooms. And Christianity is not welcomed in any sector of society. A global collapse of the economy is coming, which leads to a literal shortage of food, as Revelation 18 describes that devastation. This verse says it succinctly, “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, ‘A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a day’s wages; and do not harm the oil and the wine.’” Revelation 6:6
This world is so spiritually hardened, that even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were here personally, nobody would listen to them. They would be the only three saved because of their belief in God through Jesus Christ. The world government and its global culture do not want to hear that spiritual corruption fills the world and we need to enter the ark of Salvation through Jesus Christ. This world does not want to hear that the global government of the United Nations is the government of the beast. It has its power through the entity giving people what to feel, think, say, and do. This entity enlivens the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city around the world. They are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do. This world does not want to hear of the suffering that exists under the watchful eyes and ears of the global government and that Jesus Christ came to heal the spiritually sick.
The global culture boasts, “I see” and “I know” but they are blind and ignorant to the words of Christ, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19
Wild beasts pass through the land and desolated, even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there. “If I cause wild beasts to pass through the land, and they empty it, and make it so desolate that no man may pass through because of the beasts, even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, “they would deliver neither sons nor daughters; only they would be delivered, and the land would be desolate.” Ezekiel 14:15-16
We can associate the wild beasts with what Noah, Daniel, and Job means within the context of the Bible. Noah refers to when the world was filled with spiritual wickedness, violence, and constant thoughts of evil [Genesis 6]. Daniel refers to the global government as seen in Daniel 8 and the entire book of Daniel. Job represents physical suffering of those faithful to God through Jesus Christ, loss of family and possessions, errant guidance from friends, but the eventual restoration at the return of Jesus Christ [book of Job].
The “wild beasts” represent a time of global tribulation passing through the land that is filled with spiritual corruption and violence when the United Nations governs as the one world government. This is a time of suffering, loss, and persecution for all who live for God through Jesus Christ and embrace the presence of the Holy Spirit. The only ones who will be saved are the few who hold to the testimony of Jesus. The faithful few will be saved at the return of Jesus Christ when this land is destroyed, as described in the Day of the Lord. We need to hop into the ark of Salvation through Jesus Christ and shut the door to spiritual corruption. We need to come apart from the global culture that lives for the entity giving them what to think, feel, do, and say. We need to be prepared to say, “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.” Romans 8:18
Ezekiel 39 speaks of the Battle of Armageddon, which brings the destruction of Israel, and then the destruction of the world government and its global culture. Noah, Daniel, and Job will not be able to save Israel, only those whose righteousness is found in Jesus Christ will be saved.
Wild beasts of the land, literal animals of every type, are very much a huge part of Bible prophecy in the Old and New Testament. Those wild animals do kill human beings as a sign of the spiritual wickedness in the world, “And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.” Revelation 6:8 The same prophecy of the world being filled with demonic animals is said in this verse, “She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelation 18:2
Today, the number of people owning cute and fluffy pets are becoming less and less as those who own pets that could eat fluffy for breakfast become more and more. With that, there is a rise in the number of people being viciously attacked by animals of all types, animals that are pets and non-pets.
Wild beasts, literal and spiritually, correspond to the appearance of lawlessness and anti-social behaviors in the world. The Holy Spirit restrains lawlessness, but when He is taken out of the way then social chaos begins to happen. When Jesus Christ is rejected, the Holy Spirit is removed because Jesus is the giver of the Holy Spirit, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed,” 2 Thessalonians 2:7-8 Click for a post on the “lawless one”. In those days of lawlessness, no one will hear the words of Noah, Daniel, and Job, but only those who hold to the testimony of Jesus will be saved.
A sword passes through the land even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it. “Or if I bring a sword on that land, and say, ‘Sword, go through the land,’ and I cut off man and beast from it, even though these three men were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, they would deliver neither sons nor daughters, but only they themselves would be delivered.” Ezekiel 14:17-18
We can associate the sword with what Noah, Daniel, and Job means within the context of the Bible.
The sword comes that cuts off the One who restrains lawlessness, who is the Holy Spirit and given by belief in Jesus Christ. Lawlessness abounds when the Holy Spirit is taken out of the way, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7 Click for a post on the “lawless one”.
The Jewish people have turned from the will of God for them to acknowledge Jesus Christ as their Messiah and they oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit. Today in Israel, we see lawlessness in the constant wars as the Israelis have been in 18 wars since the State of Israel was established in 1948, Click for a list of those wars and scroll close to the bottom of the page. There are also constant riots and protests by the Israeli citizens against their own government. The purpose of all that violence and uproar is so that the global government can destroy the independence of Israel to establish the one world government. There is much suffering and loss for Israel. However, even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were there with them, they would harden their heart against Jesus Christ, and only the righteousness of Christ is able to save.
On this earth, a sword is coming, “And it was granted…to take peace from the earth, and that people should kill one another; and there was given to him a great sword.” Revelation 6:3-4 Click here for a post on the opening of the first six seals. A sword is also coming to bring the final end to the world government of the beast and its global culture, and man and beast will be cut off from this planet in the Day of the Lord. Even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were here to warn the world of the destruction of the spiritually wicked, the evil of the global government, and the affliction to come, no one listens. While this world spirals into destruction, only those who live for the testimony of Jesus will be saved. God has made a way of Salvation for us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
The sword of God is stretched out against this world system.
Pandemics and blood are poured out on the land even if Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it. “Or if I send a pestilence into that land and pour out My fury on it in blood, and cut off from it man and beast,” even though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live,” says the Lord God, they would deliver neither son nor daughter; they would deliver only themselves by their righteousness.” Ezekiel 14:19-20
Pestilence is like a pandemic that is very destructive to humanity. God is and will be sending pandemics mixed with pouring out His fury in blood. The first three plagues are exactly that, “So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became blood as of a dead man; and every living creature in the sea died. Then the third angel…For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” Revelation 16:2-3, 6
The Fourth Plague is global warming [Revelation 16:8-9], which is instrumental in bringing the collapse of the power center of the beast [Fifth Plague Revelation 16:10-11]. The stronger the United Nations become as the one world government, the stronger and more intense global warming becomes. The power center of the beast is the source that enables the existence of the entity that gives people what to think, feel, say, and do. This entity enables the image of the beast to speak and live through people in every city around the world. The masses of the global culture are groomed to the mark of the beast by what they say and do.
With the collapse of the power center, the world government and its global culture will be powerless. In that powerlessness, the Battle of Armageddon arises [Sixth Plague Revelation 16:12-17]. Then comes the Day of the Lord and every man and beast will be cut off and Jesus Christ returns. No one will be delivered except for those whose name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. “For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:13 Click here for a post on all of the Seven Plagues.
The pestilence and bloodshed will all take place in reference to Noah, Daniel, and Job. Noah represents a time of spiritual corruption, persistent evil, and a continual rise in chaos, upheaval, and violence. Daniel represents the world government and its global culture. Job represents suffering, loss, affliction, and the eventual restoration at the return of Jesus Christ. During this time, when pestilence and violence is more than a crisis, no one will be saved except the few, like Noah, Daniel, and Job who are faithful to the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Four Severe and justifiable judgments are sent on Jerusalem.
Four severe judgments are sent on Jerusalem. “For thus says the Lord God: “How much more it shall be when I send My four severe judgments on Jerusalem—the sword and famine and wild beasts and pestilence—to cut off man and beast from it?” Ezekiel 14:21
Ezekiel chapter 39 provides a view into the “day after” the Battle of Armageddon. This reveals the destruction of Israel at the hands of the world government, its global culture, and its military. At this time, Israel and the world is suffering from the sword, famine, wild beasts, and pandemics. The world is a place of spiritual corruption, persistent evil, chaos, and violence. “‘Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!’ She has become a dwelling for demons and a haunt for every impure spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable animal.” Revelation 18:2 At this time, the United Nations is governing as the one world government and its global culture dominates. There is much suffering, loss, and affliction of those faithful to Jesus Christ, until His return.
The sword is the tool that divides the wheat from the chaff in the Day of the Lord. The wheat are us believers who will be received into the New Jerusalem to live with Jesus Christ forever, the chaff are those who scoff at Jesus Christ whose eternity will be in hell. The famine will be literal as described in this verse, “And I heard a voice in the midst of the four living creatures saying, “A quart of wheat for a day’s wages, and three quarts of barley for a a day’s wages; and do not harm the oil and the wine.” Revelation 6:6 The famine also refers to the scarcity of the testimony of Jesus Christ. Even today, the churches have abandoned the Gospel of Jesus Christ, government lawmakers do not integrate Bible values in policies and laws, the educational system does not allow Bible teaching in the classrooms, and no sector of society welcomes Christianity.
The “wild beasts” are literal as described in this verse, “And power was given to them over a fourth of the earth, to kill with sword, with hunger, with death, and by the beasts of the earth.: Revelation 6:8 Death will also come by the “wild beasts” who are the lawless ones of this world. They oppress the presence of the Holy Spirit, scoff at the need for the forgiveness of sin through Jesus Christ, and do not believe in God. The Holy Spirit restrains lawlessness, but when He is gone then chaos follows, “For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way.” 2 Thessalonians 2:7 Click for a post on the “lawless one”.
The pestilence is literal as we already see pandemics on this earth, and they will increase in frequency as the World Health Organization is devising plans to combat the coming pandemics. They are trying to combat the judgment of God with human effort when they need to reconcile to God through Jesus Christ. “…and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory.” Revelation 16:9 The pestilence also refers to the disease of the soul that comes by turning away from God and not living for Jesus Christ who gives us the Holy Spirit.
The people and beasts of the world will be cut off from this planet in the Day of the Lord when this present world system is destroyed. The Salvation of those who hold to the testimony of Jesus will come at that time so that we are received to live eternally with our Lord Jesus Christ.
A remnant will be saved and the wrath of God is justified. “Yet behold, there shall be left in it a remnant who will be brought out, both sons and daughters; surely they will come out to you, and you will see their ways and their doings. Then you will be comforted concerning the disaster that I have brought upon Jerusalem, all that I have brought upon it.” Ezekiel 14:22
Ezekiel 39 describes the “day after” the Battle of Armageddon. Israel is demolished and is a complete disaster area as only a remnant survives the destruction. While a remnant of the narrow way is saved by the grace and mercy of God, through Jesus Christ, the spiritually corrupt majority of the broad way are destroyed. This brings comfort to all who love God and live for Jesus Christ because His righteousness prevails over oppressive wickedness. “You are righteous, O Lord, the One who is and who was and who is to be, because You have judged these things. For they have shed the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink. For it is their just due.” Revelation 16:5-6 “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23
Today, the global culture is living by the false God giving them what to think, feel, say, and do. This entity enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people in every city across the globe. They are conformed to the anti-Christian culture as they are groomed to the mark of the beast. Their spiritual corruption is enormous as quoted, “For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities.” Revelation 18:5 God is righteous to “Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.” Revelation 18:6 The Holy Spirit guides us, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues.” Revelation 18:4
As followers of Jesus Christ, we are comforted to know that God avenges the righteous and the tribulation coming to this spiritually wicked world is justified, “He who leads into captivity shall go into captivity; he who kills with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.” Revelation 13:10 Our patience and faith in the face of the afflictions in this world is knowing that God brings His judgment. Those who oppress the Holy Spirit will go into captivity of eternal hell. Those who kill Christianity will be killed by the Sword of the Lord and suffer eternal separation from God.
“And they will comfort you, when you see their ways and their doings; and you shall know that I have done nothing without cause that I have done in it,” says the Lord God.” Ezekiel 14: 23
God does nothing without a cause. He brings eternal Salvation to the righteous and eternal hell to those who live in spiritual corruption. “For the Scripture says, “Whoever believes on Him will not be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord over all is rich to all who call upon Him. For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:11-13 The faithful few remnants who hold to the testimony of Jesus will be saved.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:1
