Israel is Devastatingly Defeated Without Help from Any Nation

Lamentations 4

The verse below summarizes Lamentations 4. The foundations of Israel’s Biblical heritage are in shambles according to the anger of the Lord. Today, there is a fire kindled in Jerusalem, Mount Zion, as it is a hot spot of contention between Israelis and Muslims (Palestinians). When Lamentations was written, Mount Zion encompassed all of Jerusalem including the Temple Mount. Nowadays, all of that territory is contested, which includes the area of the West Bank, Jerusalem, and the Temple Mount is even off-limits to Israel.

¹¹ The Lord has fulfilled His fury,
He has poured out His fierce anger.
He kindled a fire in Zion,
And it has devoured its foundations.

The sanctuary spoken about in the verse below would be the Temple Mount. Around 691AC, the Muslims captured the Temple Mount and built a gold dome on top of what would be the temple of Solomon (which is shown in the picture below). In 1967, Israel recaptured the Temple Mount which means the gold dome is now theirs, but they allowed the Muslims to retain control over it, and that arrangement exists to this day.

The stones of the sanctuary are poured out
At the head of every street.

A day will come when the Temple Mount will be violently destroyed, mostly because the government of the mark of the beast wants no memories left of religion, God, Israel, the Holocaust etc. The total destruction of a country’s culture is easy to envision because of the current destruction of Ukraine. Those who govern by the mark of the beast set themselves up above anything that is called God and sets in the temple of God as God. Today, we know the temple is our body, the temple of the Holy Spirit, and the thing that has power over physiology wants to make us the seat of government for the mark of the beast.

The Temple Mount has none of the glory it once had for Israel, especially with the Muslim’s gold dome sitting on top it. The four walls surrounding the gold dome is what would have enclosed the outer court of Solomons Temple, and the gold dome is where Solomon’s Temple was. As written in the verse above, its stones are poured out at every street, and the streets are a contentious mix of Palestinians (Muslims) and Israelis. The Temple Mount, with the Muslim’s gold dome, has housing around it which looks like stones poured out on every street, as pictured below,

Above is the Temple Mount, the Muslim’s gold dome is sitting on top of Solomon’s Temple, which was placed there in 691AC. when the temple was captured by a Muslim army. In 1967, Israel recaptured the Temple Mount, but the gold dome still remains, and Muslims still retain control of it (by a signed peace treaty).

Above is the Temple Mount when Solomon was still alive, around 966BC or so, and that is his temple in the middle without the gold dome.

The Israelites have always been people of God who stood out like gold in a world of wood and brass, referring to bringing birth to the Messiah, Jesus Christ, through the tribe of Judah. Those same people of gold let their pride and special status get the best of them when they rejected Jesus, who came to bring the remission of sin as the Lamb of God. Now, the State of Israel is what we keep an eye on to determine how God is working in current times, referring to Bible prophecy. Israel is not the gold standard to be followed, instead they are clay pots in the hands of God, and we are watching how He is forming it. As followers of Jesus Christ, we humbly welcome the idea that He is the potter and we are the clay, meaning that we allow the Holy Spirit to form us. The Holy Spirit is only given through Jesus Christ, who Israel has rejected, so Israel is not being formed internally by the Spirit of Christ. They are being formed as a sign of what happens when Jesus is rejected, as we see chaos heating up centered around Israel in the Middle East.

² The precious sons of Zion,
Valuable as fine gold,
How they are reckoned as clay pots,
The work of the hands of the potter!

Jackals nurse their baby jackals so it would seem that the people of God, Israel, would know to nurse their people with the teachings of their Messiah, Jesus Christ, but they don’t. They are cruel. Israel is like Ostriches which do not feed their own babies at any stage in life. The children of Israel do not have the Water nor Bread of Life fed to them which is offered through Jesus.

³ Even the jackals present their breasts
To nurse their young;
But the daughter of my people is cruel,
Like ostriches in the wilderness.

⁴ The tongue of the infant clings
To the roof of its mouth for thirst;
The young children ask for bread,
But no one breaks it for them.

The scarlet cord that runs through the Bible is about Jesus Christ and the sacrifice He made on the Cross for the remission of sin. Many Israelites in the Old Testament were brought up in scarlet, such as Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua, King David, etc. They were eating the delicacies that were fed to them by God and welcoming by faith the day of Jesus Christ. Today, those honorable Israelis are desolate in the streets of the State of Israel, and they embrace ash heaps. The people of God suffer tremendously under the government of the mark of the beast, and even today the Gospel of Christ is desolate and thrown into the ash heap. That is true also of the honorable Israelis who believe the Prophecies relating to Jesus Christ.

⁵ Those who ate delicacies
Are desolate in the streets;
Those who were brought up in scarlet
Embrace ash heaps.

Israel will also embrace the ash heap of the destruction of their territory, and any residue of their royalty in this world will lie in the desolation of the ash heaps. Israel will suffer worse destruction than Sodom when fire and brimstone rained down on them. Back in those days, their vocabulary did not include words such as gunpowder, bombs, rockets, missiles etc., but fire and brimstone symbolize the bombardment that Israel will suffer. They will be overthrown in a very short time, with no help from the United States nor anyone else.

⁶ The punishment of the iniquity of the daughter of my people
Is greater than the punishment of the sin of Sodom,
Which was overthrown in a moment,
With no hand to help her!

⁷ Her nobles were purer than snow
And whiter than milk;
They were more ruddy in body than rubies,
Like sapphire in their appearance.

Whatever weaponry Israel is hit with (probably nuclear, chemical, both), it is horrible. They will be covered in black soot, their bodies are unrecognizable, and their skin clings to their bones, they look like beef jerky. Those killed are better off than the ones who remain alive. Those remaining alive are pining away and there is no fruit in the field. The people of Israel need to come to God through Jesus Christ and to live on the fruit of the Holy Spirit.

⁸ Now their appearance is blacker than soot;
They go unrecognized in the streets;
Their skin clings to their bones,
It has become as dry as wood.

⁹ Those slain by the sword are better off
Than those who die of hunger;
For these pine away,
Stricken for lack of the fruits of the field.

The devastation of Israel will be so severe that the most compassionate of women boil their own babies for food. Back in the days of the Old Testament, women actually did cook their own children to survive severe famine. Also, by “compassionately” teaching children to not believe God concerning Jesus Christ is to trample on the Holy Spirit, which makes children a ticking time bomb. That boiling is driving the momentum of the global tribulation and driving the destruction of Israel. The fire for the boiling pot has already been kindled in Zion, which includes Jerusalem and the surrounding West Bank area. The adversary is within the gates of Jerusalem. For followers of Jesus Christ, Jerusalem represents our body as the capital where God sits, as He makes us the temple of the Holy Spirit. The adversary has entered the gates of Jerusalem as the thing that has power over physiology has made people the seat of government for the mark of the beast. The adversary entering the gates of Jerusalem in the Middle East is happening at the very same time that those who govern by the mark of the beast have entered the Jerusalem of our soul. Jesus Christ is coming back soon.

¹⁰ The hands of the compassionate women
Have boiled their own children;
They became food for them
In the destruction of the daughter of my people.

¹¹ The Lord has fulfilled His fury,
He has poured out His fierce anger.
He kindled a fire in Zion,
And it has devoured its foundations.

¹² The kings of the earth,
And all inhabitants of the world,
Would not have believed
That the adversary and the enemy
Could enter the gates of Jerusalem—

The spirit of prophecy is the testimony of Jesus Christ, Revelation 19:10, so rejecting Jesus is to kill the prophets. Likewise, the priests of Israel are shedding the blood of the righteous by shutting the door to the Gospel of Jesus. This is the reason for the God’s judgment on Israel,

¹³ Because of the sins of her prophets
And the iniquities of her priests,
Who shed in her midst
The blood of the just.

The Israelis are blind to what God wants them to see, which is His message through John 3:16, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” They have chosen the way of blood to fend off the hostilities that surround them. The global government of the mark of the beast, the United Nations, will not tolerate their aggression, as quoted from below, “Those among the nations said,
“They shall no longer dwell here.”

¹⁴ They wandered blind in the streets;
They have defiled themselves with blood,
So that no one would touch their garments.

¹⁵ They cried out to them,
“Go away, unclean!
Go away, go away,
Do not touch us!”
When they fled and wandered,
Those among the nations said,
“They shall no longer dwell here.”

¹⁶ The face of the Lord scattered them;
He no longer regards them.
The people do not respect the priests
Nor show favor to the elders.

Today, Israel has always looked towards the United States to help them, they may still be looking in that direction, but the U.S. will not defend them if they disturb the “Staus Quo.” The USA made it clear that they will not stand with Israel if they attempt to reclaim control over the Temple Mount and control more area in the West Bank.

¹⁷ Still our eyes failed us,
Watching vainly for our help;
In our watching we watched
For a nation that could not save us.

God is going to take retribution against this government of the mark of the beast for coming against Him. When they come against Israel, they are coming against God. The State of Israel was established in 1948 to lift up the Holy name of God, not to glorify the Jewish people. God made that distinction between what He is doing for His name’s sake from the judgment that Israel is experiencing even today. God’s enemies are glad and rejoicing over His sign in this world being destroyed, but they are like people making themselves drunk and naked. They will not be ready for the punishment that is coming to them. Defeating the State of Israel has nothing to do with defeating God, so when the punishment of Israel is done then the punishment of God’s enemies begin.

²¹ Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Edom,
You who dwell in the land of Uz!
The cup shall also pass over to you
And you shall become drunk and make yourself naked.

²² The punishment of your iniquity is accomplished,
O daughter of Zion;
He will no longer send you into captivity.
He will punish your iniquity,
O daughter of Edom;
He will uncover your sins!

The global nations who operate through the mark of the beast are very hostile towards Israel. They hunt them to make it too terrifying to walk in the streets, as verified through sniper shootings, interpersonal violence, bombings, etc. While that is currently happening, it will intensify against Israel, and they know their days are over and their end has come. They will be outmaneuvered in the air and will be defeated in the mountains and in the wilderness. They will not have the help of the United States, or any other nation, relating to intelligence reports and weapons. Israel will not live as the State of Israel among the fellowship of the United Nations.

¹⁸ They hunted our steps
So that we could not walk in our streets.
Our end was near;
Our days were over,
For our end had come.

¹⁹ Our pursuers were swifter
Than the eagles of the heavens.
They pursued us on the mountains
And lay in wait for us in the wilderness.

²⁰ The breath of our nostrils, the anointed of the Lord,
Was caught in their pits,
Of whom we said, “Under his shadow
We shall live among the nations.”
