1Remember, O Lord, what has come upon us;
Look, and behold our reproach!
2 Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens,
And our houses to foreigners.
From the two pictures below, you can compare the promised land spoken about in the Bible, and how Israel looks today. It is an identical picture, except the West Bank, and the Gaza Strip. The West Bank and the Gaza Strip is a reproach to the earthly promised land given to Israel by God. Their inheritance has been turned over to aliens (Muslim Palestinians) and the homes in those territories have been turned over to foreigners (Muslim Palestinians.).
Even today, the State of Israel is determined to reclaim the West Bank as their territory, as the rightful owners. The United Nations, the United States, and the whole global government of the mark of the beast are adamant against Israel reclaiming that territory. They want the “Staus Quo” to remain in place, which is to leave the West Bank and Gaza Strip as seen in the bottom picture.

The picture above is the earthly promised land given to the twelve tribes of Israel. You can see how that territory is a perfect match with the outline of the Israel of today, the picture below. Except for the West Bank and Gaza Strip.

In the picture above, Israel is all of the tan area. The West Bank is the whitish area, which is written, “Our inheritance has been turned over to aliens and our houses to foreigners.” The West bank takes a big bite out of the promised land given to Simeon, Benjamin, Judah, Reuben, Ephraim, and probably part of Manasseh. The Gaza Strip is also occupied by Muslim Palestinians, which is in the southwest on the coast of the sea. The map above is the “Staus Quo” that the United Nations, United States, and all the global government of the mark of the beast wants to keep in place.
As followers of Jesus Christ, we know there is no earthly promised land, but there is a New Jerusalem, and that New Jerusalem comes when the new heaven and new earth is created. The only way to inherit eternal life in the New Jerusalem is to be reconciled to God through His Son, Jesus Christ.
