A tightly run global economy is even more severe on the followers of Jesus Christ. The global economy is founded and operated on the mark of the beast. When it comes to the distribution of resources, it is not about a world of plenty and abundance, it’s about running a tight ship, an economy of regulation and order. Considering how this will apply to the prosperous society who lives by the mark of the best, imagine what it is like for the followers of Jesus Christ. Destitution, SNAP benefits, and housing assistance is already elevated, so imagine when even that begins to be narrowed. The grain of the Bread of Life is scarce and with that there is economic scarcity for the people of God. The Holy Spirit prophetically speaks of that, “Now the famine was severe in the land. And it came to pass, when they had eaten up the grain which they had brought from Egypt, that their father said to them, “Go back, buy us a little food.” Genesis 43:1-2
Living for Jesus Christ is hand-in-hand with affliction. Judah is mentioned in the next verse, and the last day meaning of his name (Genesis 49:1-27) is very good, and Jesus Christ is from the tribe of Judah. All of the brothers of Judah will praise and bow to him, his hand will be on the neck of his enemies, he is like a lion, represents eternal power and lawgiver, the obedience of the people is in him, he is the vine, his garments washed in blood, eyes are darker than wine, and his teeth whiter than snow.
None of us would have seen the face of Jesus Christ without the terrible things that happened to Him relating to His betrayal, crucifixion, and death. A ravenous wolf came upon Christ like a wolf attacks its prey, and that is the last days meaning of the brother, Benjamin ((Genesis 49:1-27). The Holy Spirit speaks of that here, “But Judah spoke to him, saying, “The man solemnly warned us, saying, ‘You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.’” Genesis 43:3 As followers of Jesus Christ, that ravenous wolf is unleashed upon us under the government of the mark of the beast. Holding to the testimony of Jesus, during these days of affliction, is the only way to see His face in the New Jerusalem. Even today, procuring the Bread of Life is hand in hand with affliction. Communities around the nation, and around the world, detest the teachings of the Bible and consider Christians to be haters of humanity, bigots, and unsupportive. The only way to have the grain (the Bread of Life) is to accept the affliction of the ravenous wolf that goes with it, “If you send our brother with us, we will go down and buy you grain. But if you will not send him, we will not go down; for the man said to us, ‘You shall not see my face unless your brother is with you.’” Genesis 43:4-5
The global government is harboring the ravenous wolf of persecution. Jacob’s name was changed to Israel in Genesis 32. He is the father of twelve sons who are the source of the twelve tribes, thus they are the twelve tribes of Israel. During the life of Jesus Christ, the Pharisees, Sadducees, and unbelieving Jews felt like they, and the fathers of their faith, were being treated wickedly by Him. They feared for their existence as God’s chosen people because non-Jews and sinners began to consider themselves as part of the family of God through Jesus Christ. Also, the enormous crowds who were following Jesus were alarming to the Roman government, which threatened the survival of the whole Jewish population. Those are a couple reasons why the Pharisees and Sadducees was harboring the ravenous wolf to attack and bring Jesus down. They told Jesus He had a demon for accusing them of secretly plotting to kill Him. By the Scriptures of the Bible, we know the global government of the mark of the beast is harboring the ravenous wolf to destroy Christianity and the name of Jesus.
The Pharisees and Sadducees tried to hide the fact that they had “another brother,” (Benjamin, the ravenous wolf as said in Genesis 49:1-27). Israel (Jacob) was the forefather of the Pharisees and Sadducees, and he would have felt that they had dealt wickedly with him concerning the revelation of Benjamin (the ravenous wolf), “And Israel said, “Why did you deal so wickedly with me as to tell the man whether you had still another brother?” Genesis 43:6 “The man” spoken about in this verse is Joseph, who represents Jesus Christ, “But they said, “The man asked us pointedly about ourselves and our family, saying, ‘Is your father still alive? Have you another brother?’ And we told him according to these words. Could we possibly have known that he would say, ‘Bring your brother down’?” Genesis 43:7. Jesus Christ had a way of asking questions that made people examine themselves. It would be like asking the Pharisees and Sadducees if their status as a special people still exist, and to ask them if they have a ravenous wolf by which to attack Him. They accused Him of blasphemy for saying He was going to tear down the temple and rebuild it in three days and accused Him of having a demon when He said they were plotting to kill Him. Today, Jesus Christ asks the question to the proponents of the global government, “Is your father the mark of the beast still alive?” and we hear Jesus saying, “Bring your ravenous wolf of persecution.”
The death and crucifixion of Christ was necessary to bring Salvation and life. In the last days definition of Judah, he is a very honorable and upstanding person in the eyes of God. Judah wanted to honor the agreement made with Joseph (now a powerful governor), because that was the only way that they could buy grain and live through the famine. The agreement was to bring up Benjamin (the ravenous wolf) with them. “Then Judah said to Israel his father, “Send the lad with me, and we will arise and go, that we may live and not die, both we and you and also our little ones.” Genesis 43:8 The crucifixion, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ was the only way to bring life to the whosoever, and to give life to the little ones (Christianity). The only way His crucifixion and death would happen is by unleashing the ravenous wolf upon Him.
The prophecies of the persecution is sure, and so is the return of Jesus. Because Jesus Christ is hated and crucified, they also hate and persecute His followers. The ravenous wolf is brought back under the government of the mark of beast to afflict the people of God. The passages of the Bible guarantees it, and the presence of Jesus Christ in the world makes it a sure thing. As prophetically written here, “I myself will be surety for him; from my hand you shall require him. If I do not bring him back to you and set him before you, then let me bear the blame forever.” Genesis 43:9. (“him” is Benjamin, the ravenous wolf) The persecution is not lingering, and it must happen before the coming of Jesus the second time. The persecution of Christ happened once (leading to His death) and it is happening again as part of the global tribulation. “For if we had not lingered, surely by now we would have returned this second time.” Genesis 43:10 The persecution and second coming of Jesus are so closely interconnected that they could be called “we.”
Prepare for the coming of Jesus by serving in the Holy Spirit. Since we know that the persecution and Second Coming of Jesus Christ must be so, then we should serve Him by offering to Him our gifts. When we come to God through Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sin, the Holy Spirit infills us and those gifts are our offering to Him. Those gifts include glorifying the name of Jesus and sharing His Gospel. As spoken through the Holy Spirit, “And their father Israel said to them, “If it must be so, then do this: Take some of the best fruits of the land in your vessels and carry down a present for the man—a little balm and a little honey, spices and myrrh, pistachio nuts and almonds.” Genesis 43:11. As followers of Jesus Christ, we want to return everything we might have taken from Him in the past and pay it back double. If we denied God, then make a double effort to declare His reality. If we discarded the need for Jesus Christ, then make a double effort to declare our need for Him. If we trampled on the Holy Spirit, then make a double effort to dedicate our body as the home of the Holy Spirit, as written, “Take double money in your hand, and take back in your hand the money that was returned in the mouth of your sacks; perhaps it was an oversight.” Genesis 43:12.
As followers of Christ we say, “If I am bereaved, I am bereaved.” It’s essential to return to Jesus Christ, even knowing the attacks from the ravenous wolf comes with it, “Take your brother also, and arise, go back to the man.” Genesis 43:13 (the brother is Benjamin, the ravenous wolf) As followers of Jesus Christ, our faith is in the mercy of the Almighty God as we face His judgment. We even pray that He returns soon, knowing that the ravenous wolf is released upon us in the process. Even then, like Jacob we say, “If I am bereaved, I am bereaved.” “And may God Almighty give you mercy before the man, that he may release your other brother and Benjamin. If I am bereaved, I am bereaved!” Genesis 43:14
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
