The younger followers of Jesus Christ are just beginning to know what it is like to be ridiculed and afflicted for embracing the testimony of Jesus Christ. They are still grasping the reality of eternal life. They are to submit themselves to those who have Christian experience, “Likewise you younger people, submit yourselves to your elders.1 Peter 5:5a. The elders are those who have lived their life under afflictions and have been able to weather the storm in their growth beginning from a young follower of Christ. They are aware of the Holy Spirit within their body and have Him as the guarantee of their hope of eternal life. Elders and the younger are the same in Christ, so no one should put themselves on a pedestal when guiding others, and no one should be too unteachable as to reject experienced Christians. “Yes, all of you be submissive to one another, and be clothed with humility, for “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5b

“Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers through whom you believed, as the Lord gave to each one?” “For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building.”

1 Corinthians 3:5,9

The entity that has power over physiology does not consider itself to be on an equal footing with everyone else. Its purpose is not to bring everyone onto an equal footing, but to exalt its global culture by the empowerment of uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills, empowerment, uncanny authority, amazing physical feats and accomplishments, etc. As followers of Jesus Christ, we come apart from this anti-Christian culture as the Holy Spirit says to us, “Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you.1 Peter 5:6

The elders or experienced of those living for the entity giving them what to think, feel, do, and say are exalted over others of this world. Under them is a whole lot of rebellion as seen by the chaos around the world. The entity with power over physiology refuses to subject itself to God through Jesus Christ and is like a roaring lion devouring those who refuse to serve its people. The Holy Spirit cautions us, “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.” 1 Peter 5:7-8

The global culture of the beast is full of boasting as it blasphemes God, tramples on the Holy Spirit, and discards the Gospel of Jesus. The Holy Spirit tells us to resist Satan who causes us to suffer through those who live by the will of the entity giving them what to say and do, “Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.” 1 Peter 5:6-9 The elders of Jesus Christ are familiar with sufferings and the younger Believers are just beginning to get a taste of the suffering.

As young Christians, it’s very important to rely on the grace of God who gives Salvation freely through Jesus Christ. The thing that has power over physiology is able to make us think and feel awful things, to make us doubt our Christianity, and to plunge us into misstep after misstep. Suffering will come because Jesus Christ is chosen over those who are governed by their thoughts and feelings through the anti-Christian entity. But through those sufferings, faith is established. Through suffering, we become strengthened, settled, and made perfect in Jesus Christ. Salvation is ours to inherit eternal life and Jesus is returning. “But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, will perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” 1 Peter 5:10-11

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
