The Use of the Human Made Tabernacle.
These next couple of verses are talking about the tabernacle made with human hands, which in today’s terms would be all of the churches around the world. The later verses talk about how obsolete those churches are to God without Jesus Christ. The church ministers always go into their human made churches to share whatever light they have with their congregation and to make a show of their lively, talented, and wealthy programs, “the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.” Today, it’s not even necessary to step a foot inside the front door of a church. Jesus would not be a minister in a human made church if He was on this earth, as said in Hebrews 8:4. Without the atonement made for sin by Jesus Christ, the churches are not functional and are serving the mark of the beast clothed in humanism, “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14

Without the Holy Spirit, it’s not possible to enter into the presence of God, and receiving the Holy Spirit is only possible through Jesus Christ. Before Jesus Christ, the ministers would go into a church made with human hands to make sacrifices in the Most Holy Place for his sins and the sins of the people, “But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year.” Today, there is no Most Holy Place without Jesus Christ. The human made churches of today are not that Most Holy Place, our body is the Church of the Holy Spirit and Jesus Christ is the head minister. That relationship to God is a twenty-four hour a day and seven day a week experience, and a once a year “hello” to God is not sufficient. Frankly said, the churches of today don’t even have a place designated as the Most Holy Place, the chapel is a common area for all people. A good question to ask those who attend the earthly churches is “Where is the Most Holy Place and how can I get there?” The answer has to be that the Most Holy Place is within us, and Jesus Christ is the way there. Jesus is the only one who can make intercession for our sin.

“Now when these things had been thus prepared,
the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services.
But into the second part the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood,
which he offered for himself and for the people’s sins committed in ignorance.”
Hebrews 9:6-7

Human Means Does Not Lead into Godliness.
The churches are not the way into the Most Holy Place, which is stated through the Holy Spirit, “The Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.” The first tabernacle is manmade, but the second is our body as the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit. The churches are only symbolic of the presence of Jesus Christ within this world, “It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered.”

Nowadays, the churches have even lost their symbolic meaning as the symbol of the Cross becomes less used and many names of churches are hard to distinguish from a social organization. They have tossed aside the Deity of Jesus Christ and discarded the Gospel message. Their songs, worship, and sermons have nothing to do with glorifying the name of Jesus Christ. They embrace the doctrine of humanism, which buys into the “community family” frame of mind. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are to be set apart from the direction of the world, but the churches are joined to the hip with the world’s agenda. They embrace the thing that empowers humanism, which has power over physiology and takes control of thoughts, behaviors, feelings, and emotions. Serving the human being and worshipping the mark of the beast as god “cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience— concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.” The time of reformation is the return of Jesus Christ.

“The Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All
was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was still standing.
It was symbolic for the present time in which both gifts and sacrifices are offered
which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regard to the conscience—
concerned only with foods and drinks, various washings,
and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation.”
Hebrews 9:8-10

The Tabernacle of the Holy Spirit is Greater than the Human Made Tabernacle.
Jesus Christ is not the priest that stands behind the pulpits in the churches today, Jesus is the priest of the temple of the Holy Spirit, our body, “But Christ came as High Priest of the good things that have come, with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.” By the shedding of His Blood as a sacrifice for sin, He opened access to enter into the Most Holy Place, and in the name of Jesus, we enter with Him, “Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.” There is eternal life through Jesus Christ, and evidence of that inheritance is the Holy Spirit in us.

“And He is the head of the body, the Church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.” Colossians 1:18 Christ is the only rightful head over the Church, our body, but there is a thing in this world that has power over physiology and wants to make the human body the seat of government for the mark of the beast. It wants to be the head of the body with its ability to form thoughts, emotions, behaviors and feelings. Their destiny of an earthly utopia through a global democracy is a destination to the judgment of God and eternal torment.

“But Christ came as High Priest of the good things that have come,
with the greater and more perfect tabernacle not made with hands, that is, not of this creation.
Not with the blood of goats and calves, but with His own blood
He entered the Most Holy Place once for all, having obtained eternal redemption.”
Hebrews 9:11-12

Separation from this World is Part of Sanctification.
Separation from this world is part of the sanctification process by being removed from the dead works of this world to serve the living God through Jesus Christ. Dead works are anything that is done by denying the Deity of Jesus Christ, ignoring the presence of the Holy Spirit, and not believing in God. Serving God is to glorify the name of Jesus Christ, sharing the Gospel message, and welcoming the person of the Holy Spirit. Many thoughts, emotions, and behaviors come through the presence of the mark of the beast, but those experiences lead to dead works. The Word of God enables us to discern thoughts and feelings and leads to works that are alive to God.

Before Jesus Christ, it was a practice to kill bulls, goats, and heifers to set apart the Jewish nation from all the other nations around them. By their rituals, they were purified and the rest of the world around them were not. I’ve often heard terms such as, “He’s as strong as a bull,” meaning a person has a lot of strength, or “That person is a scapegoat,” meaning the person is being held responsible for another person’s misdeeds, etc. Today, if a society decided to set itself apart from those who “don’t belong,” they would sacrifice the strong opposition, and use others as scapegoats for their evil. Those who govern by the mark of the beast are doing that, they eliminate those who are strong against them and eliminate others by falsely accusing them to exonerate themselves. In a sense, they are purifying their unGodly system and setting themselves apart from those who are not part of their social network. If the blood that they shed is setting them apart as a special people, imagine how much more the blood of Jesus Christ sets us apart for sanctification.

Being set apart by the blood of Jesus Christ sanctifies us inwardly so that we are the temple of the Holy Spirit. The unGodly society sets themselves apart by being the seat of government for the mark of the beast. We follow the Gospel of peace, embrace righteousness, know our Salvation, cling to Christ’s truth, carry the Word of God as our sword, and possess faith in the promises of God. We come apart from the unGodly world, which leaves them to face the violence of this world and the coming judgment after death. Christ is our minister who is eternal, without blemish, and atones for our sin.

“For if the blood of bulls and goats and the ashes of a heifer, sprinkling the unclean,
sets apart for the purifying of the flesh, how much more shall the blood of Christ,
who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without blemish to God,
cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
Hebrews 9:13-14

New Covenant Brings the Atonement for Sin and Eternal Life.
Salvation will never be found by looking to the churches, Salvation is found through Jesus Christ. The churches did not die to give eternal life to Jesus Christ, Jesus died to give eternal life to the Church, “And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant.” To be able to believe in the redemption of sin, a person must believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. Those within the human made churches have turned to the doctrine of humanism, empowered by the mark of the beast, and they are in need of Salvation through Jesus Christ. All who believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus will receive eternal life, “those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.” Each individual who believes God through Jesus Christ is the Church, we are the tabernacle of the Holy Spirit.

“And for this reason He is the Mediator of the new covenant, by means of death,
for the redemption of the transgressions under the first covenant,
that those who are called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.”
Hebrews 9:15

“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25
, 3:11
