Being able to see what lies inside of us, as the temple of the Holy Spirit, we can see where attacks come from against internal fellowship with God. Our body, the tabernacle, is made into a battleground by the thing that wants to make people its seat of government by forming our thoughts, feelings, behaviors and words.
- The Holy Place of Illumination.
- The Veil Removed by the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
- The Most Holy Place of the Holy Spirit and Sanctification.
The Holy Place of Illumination.
“For a tabernacle was prepared:
the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, and the showbread,
which is called the Holy Place.”
Hebrews 9:2
The Holy Place is where we pick up the knowledge of Jesus Christ through the lampstand, the table, and the showbread. The enlightenment and knowledge gained of Jesus leads to Salvation which leads into the Most Holy Place. The Most Holy Place relates to sanctification and the infilling of the Holy Spirit. Those who live and govern by the thing forming what people think, feel, do, and say (in the name humanism), wants to close the door to Holiness by turning off the light that shows us Christ.
The illumination of the Holy Place consists of the lampstand, showbread, and table,
The lampstand is where the light of Jesus Christ sits, which would include such items as the Bible, the Church, the testimony of believers about Jesus Christ, and the words of Jesus Christ Himself. That light is being put out as churches no longer believe in the Deity of Christ. The Bible is viewed as being filled with hate speech, and Christian witnesses are a rare occurrence. The masses of the anti-Christian “democratic” society of today do not want us to see the path that leads from the Holy Place into the Most Holy Place, where the Holy Spirit resides in us. They only want us to be aware of the thing which forms what we think, feel, do, and say, which enables the image of the beast to live and speak through people. They are conformed to their place within the anti-Christian society as they are groomed to the mark of the beast.
The showbread represents the twelve tribes of Israel and the twelve Apostles of Jesus Christ. They have been put on show worldwide to share the Bread of Life which is the Word of God. Because of them, the Gospel has been shared around the globe. Today there is no showbread, or maybe there are crumbs laying around here and there like table scraps. There are no evangelists at the US/Mexico border showing the Bread of Life to the 166,000 migrants that arrive at the border monthly. That is happening worldwide. There are no evangelists, with a broad reach, sharing the testimony of Jesus Christ to this very needy world filled with turbulence of every type. Those who live and govern for the global culture of the beast do not want anyone to show the way into the Most Holy Place.
The table represents a place where the message of the Gospel could freely be picked up and fed on. It’s really very difficult to freely roam around the community to pick up a meal from the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s nearly impossible to just pick up a couple Believers and to share fellowship in the Spirit of Jesus Christ. It’s nearly impossible to be out in the community and per chance pick up the Bread of Life flowing from someone’s lips. This present world, which is the global government of the beast (United Nations), has taken down the table on which to set the showbread.
The Veil Removed by the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
“and behind the second veil“
Hebrew 9:3a
The veil spoken about is the one that was removed by the death of Jesus Christ when He died on the Cross for the forgiveness of sin, “And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit. Then, behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom.” Matthew 27:50-51 When the veil was torn in two, it allowed the Light to shine into the Most Holy Place. Belief in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ allows us to enter into the Most Holy Place, which is fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit. We can now see that our body is the temple of the Holy Spirit. This present system of government wants to turn the Most Holy Place into the seat of government for the thing forming thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors. It does that by keeping a dark veil over the Deity of Jesus Christ and discarding the need for the forgiveness of sin, sanctification, and the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
The Most Holy Place of the Holy Spirit and Sanctification.
“The part of the tabernacle, which is called the Holiest of All,
which had the golden incense altar and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold,
in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron’s rod that budded,
and the tablets of the covenant;
and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat.“
Hebrews 9:3-5
Deep within our soul is the Most Holy Place, where there is fellowship with God through the Holy Spirit, made possible by Jesus Christ. “You shall hide them in the secret place of Your presence” Psalms 31:20a. The temple of the Holy Spirit, our soul, is filled with prayer, holds to the promises made in Jesus Christ, feeds on the food of the Holy Spirit, serves Jesus Christ who is the priest of the temple (our body), honors the commandments of Jesus Christ, and finds mercy in the process of our sanctification.
The golden incense altar is where incense was burned to fill up the Most Holy Place with smoke. Incense represents the prayers of God’s people, especially in the book of Revelation. As the temple of the Holy Spirit, we are going to be filled with prayer. These are not prayers where the light shines as a show for everyone to see, they are prayers deep within our soul, a place where Jesus Christ makes intercession for us, “Likewise, the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession with groanings which cannot be uttered. Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.” Romans 8:26-27 The thing that wants to make our body its seat of government thrives on destroying those prayers.
The ark of the covenant is the place where the promises of God exist relating to Jesus Christ. It specifically refers to this one very important covenant/ promise made to us, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
As a follower of Jesus, the promises made to us live deep within our soul by which we live every day of our life. Especially the promise referred to in John 3:16. The promises are not something we just read in the Bible, but they are the very essence of who we are. We have a living experience of our Salvation and of the resurrection because fellowship with God is restored through Jesus Christ. In the secret of our soul, there is the down payment of the inheritance of eternal life, which is the Holy Spirit. Within our heart is the sincere expectation of the return of Jesus. Yes, in the deep places of the soul, we are one with the promises of the covenant made through Jesus. Those who live by the thing which gives them what to think, say, feel, and do attacks the promises of God made through Jesus Christ.
The golden pot of manna is the food that is deep within our soul, out of sight from everyone else. “He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat.” Revelation 2:17 Manna is described as being moist like dew, white, and can be eaten. This is the food that prevents the hardening of our heart to the Holy Spirit, deep within us is an eternal welcome for the presence of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. Those who want to establish the soul as the seat of government for the beast wants to harden that softness, that wetness, that Holiness.
Aaron’s rod that budded represents the idea that Jesus Christ is the Priest over the temple of God, our soul. When Aaron was chosen as a priest, a person from each of the twelve tribes was to bring a rod with them. Of those twelve rods, one would grow buds and blossom, and the person with the blossoming rod would be made priest over the whole nation. Aaron’s rod blossomed, and he was made priest from the Levi lineage (Numbers 17).
Jesus Christ is made the priest over the temple of God, our body, because His “rod” blossomed. He blossomed with the Spirit of God as He was God in the flesh. He brought a new covenant, not as the traditional priest from the lineage of Levi, but as a new priest from the tribe of Judah. His priesthood is not one selected by people, but His priesthood comes by the blossoming of the Spirit of God. Deep within our souls, out of sight from everyone, Jesus ministers to our soul through the Holy Spirit. Those who live and govern by the thing forming thoughts, feelings, words, and behaviors wants to toss out Jesus Christ so that it can minister within us.
The tablets of the covenant refer to the commandments of God given to Moses. The commandments that live deep within our soul are the two tablets of the Holy Bible, the “scarlet cord” of the Old Testament and the “new wine” of the New Testament. The essence that lives in our heart from the “scarlet cord” and the “new wine” is, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
We feast on the soft and moist bread of life, which will never become hardened by protocols, legalisms, rituals, and strict adherence to the letter. That is part of our sanctification and Holiness. Those who want to turn our soul into the property of the global culture are eliminating the tablets of the Holy Scripture. They need a hardened soul in which to function and will use every type of word play as they dominate the soul by forming what people think, feel, do, and say.
The Cherubim overlooking the mercy seat are Angels guarding over the Holiness of God. They look over the mercy seat where God offers us mercy through Jesus Christ by the remission of sin. When we come to Jesus Christ, we are considered righteous in the eyes of God by His mercy and grace. Deep within our soul is an Angel watching over the Holiness of God and our Salvation, “Are they not all ministering spirits sent forth to minister for those who will inherit Salvation?” Hebrews 1:14
The Holy Spirit is sinless and has no part in sin whatsoever, He perfects our sanctification by setting us apart from sin because He is grieved by sin. But an Angel stands watch over the mercy seat to minister to the followers of Jesus Christ, providing mercy and grace to keep us on the path of Holiness. The thing that has power over physiology, feelings, and thoughts, has no mercy towards our shortcomings, failures, and sinful lapses. It harasses the Holy Spirit as they use coercion over sin in their demand to sit in the temple of God as if it is God.
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
