A Heart Hardened to the Gospel of Jesus Christ Will Not Enter God’s Rest

Hebrews 3:7-11

• Abstain from Hardening of Heart as in the Rebellion.
• A Deterred Heart Will not Enter God’s Rest.

Abstain from Hardening of Heart as in the Rebellion.
Rebellion is rejecting God and His Son Jesus Christ in preference for something else. Today, people have rejected the Deity of Jesus Christ and have made a god for themselves. The god they choose to serve is the god that has power over physiology to enhance human beings. It provides uncanny knowledge, heightened intuition, extraordinary skills, physical healings, sensual pleasures, prosperity, amazing physical abilities, a range of emotions, etc. It is the reality of the year 2022 that they are serving the mark of the beast, comparable to the Golden Calf of the rebellion in the wilderness. Hearts are hardened to the testimony of Jesus Christ and ears are closed to the voice of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has this to say to us, “Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion.” Let’s listen and open our heart to the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

“Therefore, as the Holy Spirit says:
“Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion,
in the day of trial in the wilderness, where your fathers tested Me, tried Me,
and saw My works forty years.”
Hebrews 3:7-9

A Deterred Heart Will not Enter God’s Rest.
God is definitely angry with this generation for going astray in their heart. They have gone so far astray that the human being has become the human robot. People are living by emotions that are not their emotions, thoughts that are not their thoughts, feelings that are not their feelings, and behaviors that are not their behaviors. The thing that has power over physiology maneuvers a person like a puppet on string, and people choose to live their life for it. With all of their uncanny knowledge and heightened intuition, they do not know the ways of God. It seems to bring enlightenment with righteousness, but it is of Satan, “And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light. Therefore, it is no great thing if his ministers also transform themselves into ministers of righteousness, whose end will be according to their works.” 2 Corinthians 11:14-15 That describes today’s system of humanism empowered by the mark of the beast. God says about them, “So, I swore in My wrath, ‘They will not enter My rest.’”

“Therefore, I was angry with that generation, and said,
‘They always go astray in their heart, and they have not known My ways.’
So, I swore in My wrath, ‘They will not enter My rest.’”
Hebrews 3:10-11
