Deity of Jesus Christ, Atones for Sin, Above the Angels

Hebrews 1:1-4

• God Spoke through the Prophets and Now through Jesus Christ.
• Jesus Christ is Deity Who Makes Atonement for Sin.
• Jesus Christ is Above the Angels as the Savior of the World.

God Spoke through the Prophets and Now through Jesus Christ.
God speaks to us through the Bible, which includes all of the Old Testament and the New Testament. Without Jesus Christ it is not God’s spoken Word. Righteous feelings and amazing enlightenment mean nothing if it is not rooted in the Scripture of the Bible.

Anyone can see how powerfully God has spoken through His Prophets. Anywhere around the world the book of Daniel is recognized immediately as revealing the blueprint of the global government. There are also the books of Ezekiel, Zechariah, Isaiah, Malachai, and many more through which the voice of God speaks. These books enable us to understand the mark of the beast as mentioned in Revelation 13 and how everything centers around the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. In fact, “…the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.” Revelation 19:10c

With the Prophets, God speaks to us through His Son Jesus Christ, which can be summarized in this way, “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16 Jesus is Deity and part of the Godhead. Jesus Christ existed from the very beginning, along with God, and the Holy Spirit, that is the Holy Trinity, the Godhead. God is the Father of all, the universe was made through Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit inspired all of the Scripture of the Bible. It is Jesus Christ who has been appointed the heir of all things. All people must come to Christ for the forgiveness of sin, “That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:10-11

“In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the Prophets at many times and in various ways, 
but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, 
whom He appointed heir of all things, and through whom also He made the universe.”
Hebrews 1:1-2

Jesus Christ is Deity Who Made Atonement for Sin.
Isaiah 53 is a perfect image of the Holy Spirit inspired prophecy of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for the atonement of sin for all the world. He was sinless, perfect, 100% Deity, and the sacrificial Lamb of God. Jesus Christ is the perfect image of God and the radiance of His glory. After His death on the Cross, God raised Him from the grave where He now sits at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven. Because He lives, we can live also. The words spoken by Jesus Christ sustains all things, belief in the Word of God sustains all things, and by His Word things are brought into existence.

“The Son is the radiance of God’s glory and the exact representation of His being, 
sustaining all things by His powerful word.
After He had provided purification for sins, 
He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.”
Hebrews 1:3

Jesus Christ is Above the Angels as the Savior of the World.

“Being made so much better than the angels,
as He hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.’
Hebrew 1:4

There is no better position than to be the Savior of the world, the Christ, the Messiah. Jesus was destined to give His life as the sacrifice for sin, that was His inheritance, and from there obtained the name of Christ. Prophecies such as Isaiah 53 make it clear that His inheritance was always to be the Savior of the world. Even the angels of Heaven glorified Jesus as Christ the Lord. “And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which will be to all people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.” Luke 2:10-11

Humanism has no belief in the Deity of Jesus Christ, has no explanation for the fulfillment of prophecy, has no explanation for the appearance of the mark of the beast, and has no explanation for anything related to the Holy Trinity of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. They center everything around rational explanations of the human being. They embrace the thing that has power over physiology, which is able to form thoughts, emotions, feelings, and behaviors. They live by the mark of the beast. In fact, humanism is the clothing that is worn by those who live for the mark of the beast. It purposes to discard the need for Jesus Christ, ignore the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and to mock God.
