Acts 4:32-35
“Now the multitude of those who believed were of one heart and one soul…” Acts 4:32a
Our Lord Jesus prayed for us to be one in Him, as quoted, “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us…” John 17:20-21 In the Holy Spirit, Paul says, “…fulfill my joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind.” Philippians 2:2 In today’s culture, which is global, Christians are kept separate from one another and are few and far between, but we can be of one mind and one accord in the love God.
Today, the agenda is to create a global culture under the United Nations [global government]. This is being done through the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel in cities around the world. They are synchronized as one from city to city, but not by belief in God, Jesus Christ, nor the Holy Spirit nor through love and compassion. They function as one through unbelief in God, scoffing at the need for the forgiveness of unbelief through Jesus Christ, and they oppose the presence of the Holy Spirit.
“…neither did anyone say that any of the things he possessed was his own, but they had all things in common.” Acts 4:32b
In Jesus Christ, our harmony is such that we will help our brothers and sisters in any way that we can. During the days of Peter, to follow Jesus Christ meant being cast out, ex-communicated, banished, from the Jewish culture. Followers of Christ would not have any support from the Jewish people to buy their services, or to trade with them, nor would those of the Jewish culture make supplies available to them. To survive, Christians would have to share with one another the resources they had. This sheds light on Jesus’ words, “So Jesus answered and said, “Assuredly, I say to you, there is no one who has left house or brothers or sisters or father or mother or wife or children or lands, for My sake and the gospel’s, who will not receive a hundredfold now in this time—houses and brothers and sisters and mothers and children and lands, with persecutions—and in the age to come, eternal life. But many who are first will be last, and the last first.” Mark 10:29-31
Those of the global culture of today are united as one by the beast that gives them what to think, feel, say, and do, but they are not united in their charity towards one another. That’s because they depend on the resources given specifically to them for working for the governing authority living within their thoughts, feelings, words, and actions. All resources will flow from the global government who will govern over the global economy. This is what the digital I.D. and digital currency is all about, to make sure specific people have a specific amount of “currency” supplied to them. This is what the “Sustainable Development Goals” of the United Nations is all about, to “save the planet” by sustaining demand and supply by controlling what is produced to control consumption. In other words, demand [including charity] from the people is ignored and supply from the government is everything. “Let nothing be done through selfish ambition or conceit, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem others better than himself. Let each of you look out not only for his own interests, but also for the interests of others…Finally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous; not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.” Philippians 2:3-4 and also 1 Peter 3:8-9
“And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all. Nor was there anyone among them who lacked; for all who were possessors of lands or houses sold them, and brought the proceeds of the things that were sold, and laid them at the apostles’ feet; and they distributed to each as anyone had need.” Acts 4:33-35
By the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, the Apostles witnessed to the resurrection of Jesus Christ to the multitude of Believers. These were people who left everything to be part of the way of Jesus Christ. They left the Jewish culture, their friends, family members, gave up their land, homes, and previous way of living. All of their hope was in the resurrection of Jesus as the sign of their resurrection from the dead into eternal life. They had the Holy Spirit within them as the guarantee of their eternal inheritance, and this is our hope today, “In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, who is the guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.” Ephesians 1:13-14 We are the purchased possession, purchased by the blood Jesus shed on the Cross to atone for sin.
Today’s culture has no hope beyond the grave, no hope of eternal life, and do not have the fulfillment of the Holy Spirit within them. The resurrection from the dead and eternal life is nonsense to them. They pride themselves in having each other as a collective force within the community and being part of a global collective. They receive honor from one another but do not receive the honor that comes from God, as our Lord Jesus says, “How can you believe, who receive honor from one another, and do not seek the honor that comes from the only God?” John 5:44
Today’s culture is looking towards a global economy as a way to share the wealth among the poor of nations [which is written within the “Sustainable Development Goals”]. However, the global culture and the governing authorities oppose belief in God, oppose the forgiveness of unbelief that comes through Jesus Christ, and oppose the presence of the Holy Spirit. They rely on the beast that gives people what to speak, do, think, and feel, to bring everyone under the umbrella of the global economy, as a global culture. However, the global culture is built on sand and will not stand in face of the events coming against it in the Seven Trumpets of Revelations 8, 9, and 11 and the Seven Plagues of Revelations 16. The collapse of the global economy is described in the post on Revelations 18.

The Holy Spirit has these words to say to us, “Now may the God of patience and comfort grant you to be like-minded toward one another, according to Christ Jesus, that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 15:5-6 The Holy Spirit urges us to comfort one another with these words, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words.” 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
“….to you who do not hold to her teaching and have not learned Satan’s so-called deep secrets,“
‘I will not impose any other burden on you, except to hold on to what you have until I come.’”
“I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.”
Revelation 2:24-25, 3:11
