Jesus Enters Heaven

Luke 24:50-53

“When He had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, 
He lifted up His hands and blessed them. 
While He was blessing them, He left them and was taken up into heaven. 
Then they worshiped Him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. 
And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God.”

Jesus Christ is no longer here on earth. Neither His bones nor flesh nor any other human remains will be found. When He ascended into Heaven, the bones and flesh of His resurrected body went with Him. He will not be seen again until He returns. Until then, we who follow the way of Jesus Christ will continue to worship Him. After His departure, He sent the outpouring of the Holy Spirit who glorifies Jesus Christ and lives in us to tell the Gospel. Christians are separated from this world to be set apart for God until the return of Jesus Christ. One day, all Believers will ascend to be with Jesus, in our new and glorified body. Because He lives, I will live also.
